We are here to celebrate our Anniversary and it was splendid. Hubby got a perfect steak and tender enough to cut with a fork. The corn is super sweet and the brussel sprouts were perfectly prepared. Everything was beautifully presented. I had the lamb special and OMG. I have to say the wine list is INCREDIBLE and I was not disappointed. Our server Julia couldn't have been better. Great atmosphere and quiet ambiance. They gave us a dessert and we selected the crème brûlée- perfect with fresh berries. Worth the price for the experience and service.

This year we spent Valentines evening at 101 Steak! The service was 10/10! We enjoyed both of our appetizers and our entrees. You must order the Calamari and shrimp app it was delish! If you like mussels do not pass that up on the menu. Over all I will give it a 9/10. We will be returning.

Overall, it was a solid dining experience with a few hiccups worth noting. The service was decent -- not the best I've had, but our server was very kind and made an effort to ensure we had what we needed. We tried a nice variety of dishes. The Wagyu beef carpaccio was a hit for me but my friend's French onion soup didn't quite land -- she wasn't a fan and ended up not finishing it. We both ordered steaks (mine with a side of crab cakes), and let me just say -- chef's kiss! The steaks were cooked to perfection, flavorful, and tender. On the side, we shared the creamy spinach, crispy Brussels sprouts, and the jalapeño corn brûlée. While we loved the first two, the corn brûlée fell a bit flat -- the flavor just didn't wow us the way we hoped. One odd thing: we were sat in a large booth that could easily seat six people, even though we were just a party of two and could clearly see smaller tables available. Maybe it was a sectioning issue, but it felt like an awkward setup for a more intimate dinner. As for drinks, they were out of a few options we initially wanted, but we still ended up happy with what we ordered. And finally, the rolls -- we had seen some buzz about them online and were expecting something cornbread-adjacent. Instead, they were filled with cheese pockets and didn't quite hit the mark for us. All that said, the steaks and sides (minus the corn) were delicious enough that I'd definitely give 101 Steak another try -- perhaps at the bar next time for a different vibe.

Parking There is valet ($5) and self parking in a garage. I opted for valet since I don't like garages. Restaurant Upon entering the restaurant I got a romantic/upscale vibe. The bar is immediately to your left upon entering. The desk person was very nice and friendly. Since it was Thanksgiving we had reservations and were seated immediately. Our server was awesome. We ordered the Thanksgiving menu. Most dishes were tasteful. However the green beans casserole was very lackluster and the appearance was not appetizing as well as the mashed sweet potato dish. Not sure how that side item fit in. Now to items that were out of stock: corn bread stuffing and apple dessert. On to the corn dish it was very sweet, but the mashed potatoes tasted homemade and were delicious. A little disappointed that they sold out of some dishes since we had reservations at 6pm. I ordered salmon and grits for the entree. The salmon was cooked perfect, just haven't had salmon and grits before. Even though our waitress was awesome she forgot my credit card when she brought back my bill. I immediately asked another server to send her to my table, that didn't happen. I looked around for a manager but did not see one. I even went to the bar and asked for a manager, one never came to the table. After about 15 minutes someone from the back brought my card to the table. She stated "your waitress left the card on the desk beside the machine". I initially was going back to the restaurant and try the steak but I am on the fence now and not sure. This decision is mainly based on the fact of the restaurant being out of dishes and some items being lackluster. If I go back I will do a second review.

I went to 101 Steak for a friends birthday dinner. The ambiance is really nice and great for a date night or a nice dinner with family and friends. The server for the evening was nice and did a great job with navigating a large party. I ordered a mocktail to drink and the risotto for my entree. When my food arrived it didn't look at all like what I was expecting. When I shared with the server that I thought I was ordering a mushroom risotto that I saw in the pictures on Google. She went and got the manager and they offered to remake the dish as a mushroom risotto. When the new dish came out it was exactly what I wanted and tasted really good. Thanks for making my dining experience pleasant and being willing to make sure I was satisfied

I've been here 3 times now, once for dinner and twice for happy hour. Both options were great but I'd definitely come back again sooner for happy hour. The food is fantastic and the drinks/wine selection is great.

Food was good. At the end of the meal after paying the bill was kicked out of restaurant by a very rude and unprofessional manager. He would not give me a specific reason for kicking me and my girlfriend out. He was very uncomplimentary of my girlfriend. We were sent out into a very cold night and had to wait over 15 minutes for an Uber. We have been to this restaurant many times and never had a problem before. They need a new manager. Dr Jeff Fried

Food, service, and ambiance? 101 Steak does not disappoint! Everything I've tried is delicious. If you have the opportunity to try their lobster bisque, don't miss out!

It's been a few years since my last visit to this restaurant, but I recalled having a good overall experience prior, so I was game to return. Sat at the bar and ordered the Maryland Crab Cakes, Sweet Chili Chicken Lettuce Wraps, and the Pork Dumplings to eat. The specialty cocktail of the day was a Cucumber-Mint Martini so I ordered that to drink. I really enjoyed the Crab Cakes and the Cucumber-Mint Martini! I gobbled up the Crab Cakes before I could take a picture (sorry!). The Sweet Chili Chicken Lettuce Wraps were decent, but they had nuts in them which was not specifically called out on the menu. The Dumplings were also just ok. Shout-out to my bartender, Mo. She was very friendly and provided good service. Looking forward to the next time!

Visiting Georgia and we settled on a steak place. We were north of Atlanta in Vinings and found the 101. Open later we enjoyed a great meal, fantastic whisky and conversation. Service was fast and we were one of the few left. Food was fantastic, bread delicious and just a great time. Inside was inviting and fun. Will definitely visit again.

I love steak and this steakhouse is really close to where I live. It's very unassuming and the inside is much larger than it looks on the outside. They do over valet parking, however the parking garage is always pretty empty when I've gone and it's free 3 hours parking. Our server was really nice, but I think the service was a bit slow even though it wasn't even that busy when we went. We got a few different things, we got the carpaccio and oysters for the appetizers and we got the 18 oz 40-day bone-in Kansas City Strip with bone marrow butter. The beef carpaccio was pretty average. I think there were way too many toppings on top of it that covered up the taste and didn't really allow it to shine. The oysters were decent. The steak was definitely the star of the show (we would hope since this is a steakhouse). The steak was perfectly cooked (medium rare) and super juicy. The bone marrow butter was also great with it!

We had dinner reservation for 2 at 7:00 pm on Saturday, 12/2/23. The service was great! Valet parking. Unassuming from the outside. Very nice on the inside! Tall leather booths. Five stars for the steak. Four stars for the sides. We got way too much food, but we had leftovers! Here's what we got: - Tuna Tartare ($18): Good! - French Onion Soup ($12): Tasty! - Burrata & Prosciutto ($16): The burrata was great. Wish the prosciutto was saltier and had more taste. - 12 oz Filet Mignon ($72): Very, very good. - 16 oz 101 Steak Delmonico ($72) with Bearnaise ($3): Super good! The sauce was good too, but not necessary. - Creamy Spinach ($13): This was actually gross. It was a tiny bit better the next day, but I definitely wouldn't recommend it. - Cheddar Mac-N-Cheese ($12): Fine, better as leftovers. - Crispy Brussels Sprouts with Ginger Soy ($14): Super delicious. - Chocolate Layer Cake ($12): OMG. So good. The salt was all on the edge, which I'm sure looks great for decoration, but it made a few bites way too salty. The salt needed to be spread out more. We would definitely go back, just wouldn't get the creamed spinach.

Since it was our first time there, they took the time to walk us through some of the best items on and off the menu, and shared their favorite dishes. Everything was done with care. The restaurant was clean, the bathroom was amazing, and the food was worth every dollar. The short rib was so tender, and the New York strip was seasoned to perfection and cooked medium well just how we like it. The twice-baked potato loaded with bacon, sour cream, chives, and cheese was delicious, and the mac and cheese was so good. I also appreciated that they allowed me to order it without the roasted saltine crackers. I can't wait to visit again!

This is my second time here and both times have been so good. We came as a party of 3 and left so happy and full. I love Mexican food holy moly We got the queso and octopus shrimp ceviche as starters. The queso was 3 cheeses: American, cotija, and Oaxacan. They heated it up under a salamander so it was nice and crispy on top, while being gooey all throughout. Also came with a couple of nice salsas. The ceviche was not my favorite because I don't prefer raw(ish) octopus, but the squid ink sauce was very flavorful. For our mains the 3 of us shared the red snapper, tuetano with lamb, and the mixteco poblano pepper. Red snapper had a nice charred smoky flavor from being grilled. Was more meaty than flaky in texture. It was our second time getting the mixteco poblano pepper and it hits. Highly recommend eating with some of the salsa as well if you get queso. The duck carnitas in it wasn't particularly duck-y today, but still very good. Best dish is definitely the tuetano. The bone marrow is so incredibly flavorful with the blue corn tortillas. Add some of the pickled onions and it's hard to go wrong with that flavor combo of salt, fat, and acid. if you're going to order one thing, I'd order this and share with a friend and tbh it's enough to be filling. For dessert we got the volcan de chocolate (basically lava cake). The lava cake and coconut ice cream combo is fantastic. You get bits of coconut flakes as you eat! Fair warning it isn't the brownie texture you may be used to, it's a bit more cakey. Amazing service the whole night! Almost got our cars booted because we forgot to validate until 1.5 hours in but luckily we were fine. The staff let us know they have been booting cars though so be wary!

Our daughter spent the first few minutes waving at the staff, and they genuinely lit up every time -- such a warm, welcoming vibe right from the jump. Starters We kicked things off with the she‑crab soup, and that's when we knew the meal was going to be special. Tons of rich crab flavor and chunks of crab. The crispy shrimp toast was another hit -- crunchy, savory, and a great pairing with the soup. We also ordered the Baker's Dozen oysters, chef's selection. All 13 were fresh, clean, and briny in the best way. Next up: the Spanish octopus, and honestly... top five octopus dish we've had. Cooked perfectly -- tender, melt‑in‑your‑mouth texture. The salsa macha added just the right amount of heat, and the marcona almonds brought a great crunch with the cilantro, lime, and mint brightening everything up. What a beautifully composed dish. We finished with the Halibut and Lady peas. The Halibut was topped with lobster and served with a lobster butter sauce, chives, and capers. Rich, buttery, flaky, and perfectly cooked. The lady peas (fava beans, asparagus, and a generous mound of blue crab) were another standout. So much flavor, but everything complemented each other instead of competing. One of those sides you keep looking for more of when it's gone. --- Overall Every dish was thoughtful, balanced, and executed at a high level. When we addressed with the server, she argued with us that that's how a lobster is and that there could be more meat hidden on the plate. It felt like she thought we were there to just get more food by saying "so what do you want, more meat" but if we had it in the shell we would have received our full portion. I was dining alone, and my server, Ana, was phenomenal. She was attentive without hovering, personable, and made excellent recommendations.
