Great little bar with great food. They share the menu with Zucca next door so you get bar food and Italian. We started with the trout dip, and it was great. Then I had the Atlantic Salmon. I felt the salmon could use a little more seasoning, but overall a good, very filling dish. You'll have leftovers. read more

This place was pretty ok. Came here for lunch and the place was not busy at all. I imagine they get most of their business during dinner time. I tried their burger, and although it was a bit overcooke from what I ordered, it was still pretty tasty. I requested for the tater tots, and they have more like a potato hash balls? Lol. It was very interesting, but unfortunately, it was cold when I got it, but I think had it been served hot, I would easily bump my experience to 4 stars. Service was swift and friendly. Place is pretty clean - pretty much what youd expect from a Tavern. This is a great tavern to hit up after a long day at work. It has a casual and dark atmosphere hidden between two the Corner Taqueria and Zucca's. If you prefer non-smoking section, just walk on through to Zucca's you can order the same food. I don't mind the smoking, so this tavern is really relaxing. The appetizers are great, and I really enjoy having the ability to order bar food or choose from Zucca's menu, too. You can get the best of both! We always order a round of mozzarella sticks with our beer. Who doesn't like some fried cheese and beer? My favorite night to go is definitely Thursday's after tonight. They have a meal special from 4-9 of $5 burgers. The portion size of the burger and side is well worth the deal! It goes perfect with the draft beer. For all my beer drinkers out there-they have a wide variety, but some of the sours only come in a can. However, I appreciate that I can order a "snake bite" with angry orchard and Stella on tap. I've opted for other pub and tavern establishments in the area that are obviously more appreciative of their regular customers. Amazing spot if you want to grab some late night food!!! I normally get the chicken fingers or a pizza. The cheesy fries are delicious and easy to share! It's mostly bar food especially late at night, but it's actually really good and they have good variation on the menu. Next time I plan to try the chicken eggrolls! I guess I can see the appeal of this place if you live nearby. It seems as if it would be a decent enough neighborhood bar given the lack of better options in the area. But as someone just stopping by to grab some lunch because I was in the area, I can't say that I am a fan. I walked in and seated myself at the bar. The first thing I noticed was the overpowering smell of cigarette smoke. Why does any restaurant still allow indoor smoking? Ridiculous. The place is small and pretty dark, but not overly so. The waitress came over and took my drink order relatively quickly. She wasn't overly friendly (actually she barely said anything at all), but provided sufficient service. It seemed as if she was really the only one working on this particular day, so kudos to her for providing prompt service. I ordered the cajun burger, but could barely detect any of the cajun seasoning. The reason that I ordered this was because the menu advertised that it came with "fried onions". When I hear "fried onions", my brain immediately thinks of those French's crispy things that everyone's grandmother puts on top of green bean casserole. What came on my burger was not "fried onions". I'd more accurately classify them as "barely sauteed onions". Disappointing. I ordered the sweet potato fries as my side and they were probably the best part of the meal. They had the perfect amount of sweetness and were finished with course salt - just the way I like them. If I were in the area again, this definitely wouldn't be my first choice. read more

It would've been all good had all the TVs come equipped with cable, but it was still nice watching 'The Family Guy'. I started off with a 'Stella' (and I feel I have to give props to Lauren for even introducing me to this beer, love it/ya) then I decided to step outside the box and try a blue moon. Awesome choice. I ordered a pastrami sandwich. The sandwich was HUGE, but very dry. The menu was full of things I wanted to try, so when in the area, I plan on returning. The crowd was pretty relaxed. This place gives you the option of playing board games, watching the big game on TV, or enjoying the bartender (a guy not girl) sing along to Rhianna. I had a great time. The waitress was very nice, the place was very clean, the music was a bit loud but being that I was in more of a party mood it was OK. For 2 beers and my pastrami sandwich I paid $16. Not bad, being that my portion was more than enough for 2. read more

Stopped by here when I was in the area just to get a drink. Had about an hour to kill before I needed to stop by somewhere else in the area. This bar appears to be connected to a restaurant next door. I sat in the bar portion that has a long counter with bar stools and then some booths on the other side. The bar was nice and dark and had the feel of a nice neighborhood bar. There was one very friendly bartender and a smallish group here on this Saturday afternoon. They had a really decent selection of craft beers on tap and I ordered a Reformation Cadence, one of my favorites. What was nice was that they had a lot of real good quality TV screens and they were playing audio from the main game that was on that afternoon (the UGA football game). This is a nice spot to watch a game. I didn't have any food so can't speak to the quality of the food, but as far as drinking goes, this looks like a nice spot to hang out, have some drinks and watch some games. read more

A great spot to grab a beer or cocktail and hangout with friends. They have pretty epic booths with TVs in them and cool upholstery. Not a fancy drink place but the neon jukebox should give that away. But that's not to say that they can't whip up a kickass cocktail. Even if I despised the Vintage Tavern, I'd still give it a nearly glowing review because it be so damned close to where my dear Great Aunt and Uncle lived for nearly 40 or 50 years. I haven't a lot to add as Mel G.'s review be quite shipshape and Bristol-fashion. (Mmmm, bristols.....) Me notes: This bar isn't huge, so it doesn't get too loud. You have two options at the Vintage: booths or bar. The bar be on your left as you enter, the booths be on your right. The little flatscreens can be tuned by the people in the booth, so in theory you could watch your favorite television shows while you drink. Genius!! The head, or "squatboxes" (waterclosets to you fine ladies), can be found in the back to the left and appear to be shared with that Italiano place, which you can stumble into for a good look around. I've ordered eggplant thing-a-ma-jiggy from the Zucca and it were right good. The smoke do indeed be a great hindrance to enlightened space pirates like myself. Perhaps the owners know that they'd be jam-packed every night if it weren't for the smoke. read more

I won't be able to review the food here, because...well...I've never actually had the food here. The only thing I ever get here are drinks! For your Friday night outing, this place is a fantastic hang-out, neighborhood bar, "where everybody knows your name" type of place. The set up is very simple: bar to your left, booths to your right. I've only ever sat in one of the booths, when I wasn't able to stand up straight anymore :) The bartenders here are great! Brad always manages to keep a great atmosphere in the bar! Overall, I think this is more of a bar that happens to serve food. You have to be 21 to get in, so yes you can smoke indoors. read more

This is one of the few places here in Smyrna that will let us bring our dogs. They're our kids so we like to take them with us as much as possible. Adkins Park has a wonderful covered patio but they don't allow dogs. The Taco place next to Vintage Tavern does as well but we didn't like their food at all. We've been to Vintage Tavern a couple times with the pups and have yet to be disappointed. Granted it does take awhile for someone to notice if your sitting outside, but once they know your're there they do a pretty good job checking up on you. Their menu has a variety of things. Something everyone should like. The waitress also said that you could order from Zucca's menu as they are owned by the same person/same kitchen. Food for the price is not all that great, but since they allow dogs...I'm sold! Great to come and visit after a long day at work. read more

Pretty basic, laid-back bar. I ordered a newcastle from the bartender, who was pretty laid-back and gregarious. Interestingly, his response to everything was "Perfect", as in, "Can I see your ID? It was pretty dead when we got there but that was a-okay with us we weren't looking for a party just a chance to grab a drink and bite to eat while we caught up. The place is small so if you are looking for a table get there early tables are first come first serve. This place is really more of a bar than a restaurant but I will say the food was delicious perfectly priced bar food. I got the "hot wing" chicken sandwich it was really good! The drinks were poured with the perfect amount of liquor. I really have no complaints at all. If I am looking for some simple bar food this will be the place to go. One thing to note you can smoke inside and it is smokey after being there for more than 5 minutes I no longer noticed it. read more

Reviewing this as a restaurant, rather than as a bar. Food is comparable in quality and price to what you'd find at a place like Chili's or Applebee's. Meaning it's not bad, but nothing remarkable. Service was friendly, but it took a long time to get our food, even though it wasn't busy at all. Parking isn't ideal, and I'm tempted to remove a star because the place smells like stale smoke, but that wouldn't be fair since Vintage Tavern is primarily a bar. I would go here again if friends wanted to, but I probably wouldn't return otherwise. read more

I had been looking for a good trivia place nearby and Vintage Tavern definitely has a good one on Tuesdays. The drink specials are great and the food and the atmosphere was perfect. It was not too crowded to hear and everyone seemed to be playing trivia. Originally I was going to order the chicken nachos but the bartender suggested the Southwestern Chips which were great, very nice chip to chicken to cheese ratio. Although a relatively small space, this place is still fun times. The atmosphere is very chill and you can sit at a booth with your own personal TV-- so fun for game days! I've never really had any service complaint here. The only food I've tried, however, are the fries (which were darn good by the way). Came in by accident on a Tuesday evening looking for the place across the street, but was welcomed by friendly faces and such a sweet and happy bartender with a clean floor, clean bar stools, clean booths and clean energy and vibe of patrons hanging out after a rough days work just avoiding the rain and traffic and who wouldn't want to stay right??? I decided to try the advertised shandy that I spoted chalked on the chalkboard outside by the creative loafing stand and "vintage" cigarette vending machine and was pleased with the citrusy aftertones. Nestled inbetween Zucca and Taqueria you have the option of ordering food from either place and having it brought right to your table, booth, or bar top-side. Kudos to you Vintage! Kudos! read more
