This place was pretty ok. Came here for lunch and the place was not busy at all. I imagine they get most of their business during dinner time. I tried their burger, and although it was a bit overcooke from what I ordered, it was still pretty tasty. I requested for the tater tots, and they have more like a potato hash balls? Lol. It was very interesting, but unfortunately, it was cold when I got it, but I think had it been served hot, I would easily bump my experience to 4 stars. Service was swift and friendly. Place is pretty clean - pretty much what youd expect from a Tavern. All in all, I can see myself coming back to this place, but it just wouldnt be my number one pick in comparison to the other taverns/pubs around the area.

This is a great tavern to hit up after a long day at work. It has a casual and dark atmosphere hidden between two the Corner Taqueria and Zucca's. If you prefer non-smoking section, just walk on through to Zucca's you can order the same food. I don't mind the smoking, so this tavern is really relaxing. The appetizers are great, and I really enjoy having the ability to order bar food or choose from Zucca's menu, too. You can get the best of both! We always order a round of mozzarella sticks with our beer. Who doesn't like some fried cheese and beer? My favorite night to go is definitely Thursday's after tonight. They have a meal special from 4-9 of $5 burgers. The portion size of the burger and side is well worth the deal! It goes perfect with the draft beer. For all my beer drinkers out there-they have a wide variety, but some of the sours only come in a can. However, I appreciate that I can order a "snake bite" with angry orchard and Stella on tap. That's one of my personal favorites.

The first time I went to this place it red for a drink going drying the day is a diffent vibe. They have a karaoke stage bar area and a side for a restaurant with seats booths and I think I saw high tops outside and inside. We weren't great right away this visit to eat at the restaurant but the service was great and quick. The food came out right away. Soon as we arrived the energy was weird and the staff was overwhelmed and gave us conflicting answers and information regarding the oyster fest. Ordered our food before getting our table because there was 45 minutes wait. An hour later our table was ready and then they couldn't find our orders. Once we finally got our food most of it we had to send back because either it was cold or undercooked. Atkins Park Tavern clearly leans toward a European palate. If you're expecting big Southern seasoning or layered spice, this isn't that lane. The wings were really fleshy and had an odd texture. Not terrible, just not enjoyable. The bigger issue was the she-crab soup. It tasted spoiled, like it had been sitting longer than it should have, and I couldn't finish it. Service and atmosphere were ok, which is why this stays at three stars. Hopefully this was just an off night because of the event, but as it stands 4 out of 10 I do NOT recommend.

I'm leaving this because what I saw doesn't line up with that review at all. The group that was eventually asked to leave came in clearly intoxicated and immediately made another table uncomfortable. When they were told the table wasn't interested in being social, the intoxicated group sat down at a table directly across from them and continued making loud, inappropriate comments. The other table appeared visibly distressed and were clearly trying to keep to themselves. Staff initially tried to calm things down and keep everyone there. When the behavior continued and escalated, they made the right call and asked the disruptive group to leave. You could feel the room relax once they were gone. Unfortunately, situations like this happen sometimes when alcohol is involved. From where I was sitting, the staff handled a tense situation professionally and fairly. I've been going to Eleanor's for over a decade and have always found the staff to be kind, attentive, and respectful. This review doesn't reflect what I personally witnessed that night.

The place is nice inside but not as intimate as I was expecting for a speakeasy. It's a fairly casual vibe inside with a bar and some seating around the sides. I really enjoyed the cocktails. They're light but really well balanced in their flavors. We had called ahead of time and were told the place closed at 10 PM but at 9:30, they already turned on the lights and were getting people to leave. We felt rushed out of there which wasn't fun especially since we called ahead. Also, there were fruit flies all over the place and in our faces. The entire time, we were fighting off the fruit flies which really dulled the experience. There was 10+ so it was very annoying. Hopefully they can fix that problem and it will make for a more enjoyable experience.

Unfortunately, the service brought your score down. We had a reservation for dinner and the young lady who initially met us, did not even ask us this. She greeted us with, "we have an event going on, so seating is tight." OK - Well I have reservation. That seemed to help her find us a table. When she sat us, she handed us one menu for my wife and I. No wine list, (at a wine market) and no introduction. After 5-6 minutes, our server came out and said hello, but did not bring water or the wine list still. But, she did inform us again about the event going on. WE know restaurants are busy on weekends and even more so in the holiday season, but the constant reminders of "The event" does two things, one the servers are creating an excuse to say, you are going to receive slow service, and two, it felt like, how dare we show up during an event night. Finally on our servers 2nd visit, we were able to receive a second menu and the wine list. We ordered the 6 piece charcuterie and two glasses of wine. The server who made the charcuterie board, was very pleasant and proud of her creation, and rightfully so, the board was beautiful and delicious. We enjoyed our wine choice and decided to buy a bottle, our server, had zero wine experience. She did not present the bottle to me, (I have the wrong bottles brought out on a few occasions, and this is just a common courtesy) she uncorked the bottle, did not present the cork, she poured from the bottle into glasses that already had wine, granted we ordered the same wine, but at a wine market with a big event, maybe two new glasses should have been brought out, just in case. Then after she poured our glasses, she DROPPED the cork on the floor, picks it up and sticks in our bottle. Do your servers do that with silverware? Then she began to walk away with our bottle, I asked her to please leave the bottle on the table. She was seemed like that was an odd request. Overall, if we could give half stars, I would say 3.5 for the review, it was saved by your charcuterie server, as well as the taste and quality of the meats and cheeses, as well as the wonderful selection of wines. We will be back and hopefully, you take these comments constructively, and have your servers trained up a little more to be assets to your establishment.

They also have a bar, plenty of tvs to watch the game (baseball or whatever sport is in season). My go to option has been the avocado bacon burger. It is fresh and well seasoned, the avocado is always ripe & I like having the ability to add my desired toppings for free. I also tried their chicken sandwich and it is not bad either.
