i wish i could rate a million stars!! we sent our dogs with chris for a board and train.. our husky buddy used to run every chance he got, now he is 100% off leash trained.. i tried googling off leash huskies and they don't seem to exist lol.. but the pictures i attached are proof of how great a job he did!! our puppy peanut butter would jump on everyone who walked in the door and alway irritate buddy.. now he is perfectly behaved.. we also have 9 cats who the dogs tried to murder on a regular basis lol.. now the dogs and cats are best of friends!! even when the cats get aggressive, our boys are patient with them and just let them be.. chris also gave us some amazing personal advice and has impacted our life in more ways than i can describe.. hiring him is one of the best decisions we have ever made!!!

Tucker walking right beside me without pulling or lunging after one walking lesson!

We have only had two lessons with Chris so far but WOW the difference in our dog is phenomenal. Tucker has some serious issues, especially with pulling and lunging while walking on the leash, and after this week's lesson, he has walked perfectly on each walk since. An immediate change. We are so excited for the rest of our lessons. Besides being an incredible trainer, Chris is kind, goes out of his way, and doesn't scam anything. He is 100% the real deal and worth the money, big time.

Chris actually showed up 6 months later and started lessons over for my sister so that was a good thing.

I have a special needs child and I want to teach a new puppy crate training, house training, and to not scare my son?

Yes, although my hope is for people to not need it. But for those who want it, yes. What were you thinking you'd like to accomplish?

During the first week there Heidi drew a bead on his intelligence and stubborn nature and let us know that he would need a firm but affectionate hand. She did not let him get away with his reluctance to submit even though he was pouty about it. When we picked him up, we were amazed! He followed our commands during our training session and retained much of what he learned. We had to go out of town for a funeral and then a few days later he was neutered, so he had a disruptive week but has gone back to obeying most of his commands. He even stops at doorways though I forget he is supposed to do it. Petey does have a larcenous side and is a stealthy counter surfer. He needs to be watched carefully and we are trying to tame the bandit in him. Otherwise he is delightful and fun to be around We had a house full of company last weekend and Petey did great with everyone, including two boys aged 10 and 12. Everybody fell in love with our sweet, smart, well behaved boy! We are so grateful to Heidi and EJ for giving us our darling, smart and obedient Petey. We give CK9 the highest praise and would recommend them to anyone who wants a well-mannered, well-trained canine companion. Yay!

I booked an appointment to take my first dog in, explained what I wanted and they said "no problem, we'll ask you again upon drop off ". When taking him to his appointment I reiterated what I wanted. My husband had to pick him up, it didn't occur to me to make sure he knew to double check the cut was right. When they got home, I realized they only took 1/2 inch off instead of taking him down to a 1/2 inch, so his hair was way too long. I called about a week later (confirmed it was too long to, was trying to just live with it). I mentioned it when making an appointment for another dog hoping that giving them more business but letting them know the mix up would encourage them to fix it. He's itty bitty so an extra inch+ makes a huge difference, and he's missing teeth so he's a messy eater. I also mentioned it when taking dog #2 in... nothing. No offer to fix it, no discount, out $150 before the tip on two yorkies. Pretty disappointed, had they offered to correct the link, we'd keep going, because both boys came back happy, I just won't pay 20% over what we had been at the vet and gamble having to do it so soon again.
