They also use a very strong scent of spray after the groom. We will probably end up going with our previous groomer due to paying for a groom that we weren't happy with.

She called me at 12:10 to tell me the dog was done so I sent my daughter to grab her. However, my daughter was confused and actually went to a different groomer in Manchester. When my daughter called me and I figured out what happened, I called Krazy Tails to let her know why she was running late and I received nothing but horrible attitude. I later called back when I saw the LACK of grooming done on the dog. She proceeded to tell me how rude I was that we were late picking the dog up because she closed at 12:30...however, the google listing says 3pm. She then went on to tell me that she was going to refuse service to me going forward because we were late picking up our dog and then went on to tell me that I was lying about my daughter going to the wrong location because my daughter didn't mention it when she actually got there. She called me rude and inconsiderate on the phone MULTIPLE times. I ended up telling her to forget about it and I will NEVER be taking the dogs there again. This woman has cancelled appt on my with no notice in the past, barely grooms dogs and is the rudest person I have ever met for someone who owns a business. I can only imagine how she treats these poor dogs!

I went to visit Classy Canines before making my appointment with my pup because I wanted to check out the location and meet the groomer. It is located in the back of a vets office and Lori, the head groomer, was friendly and seemed knowledgable. I decided to book my first appointment for my large breed dog. When my appointment day came I brought my dog in and we had an 'intake interview' she asked me if my dog had sensitive skin, I said no. We have had our dog professionally groomed every 4-6 weeks since we got her and she has never shown any signs of skin sensitivity. I knew my dog was matted (definitely not the worst its ever been but a little more than normal) and decided to cut her short because of this. When I came in to pick up my dog I noticed that her skin was red on her legs and Lori said she had put some ointment on it and then brushed it off as no big deal. I asked a couple prodding questions to try and get a better understanding, but she said to just discourage my dog from licking. I also noticed that there were multiple toe-nails that were cut too short and had bled. One nail cut too short is understandable, but multiple nails (her nails are not black), is hard to understand. By the time I got home and had a chance to run my hands over my dog I noticed there were red marks and blade burns all over her (a total of 7 different areas). I took photos so I could send to Lori with my concerns. By the next day my husband and I were increasingly worried and took our dog to the vet, where we learned that our pup had developed a staff infection from the groomer. She had to wear an e-collar and take antibiotics. It was super disappointing that it came down to this. The vet said there should be no explanation or excuse from a professional groomer to cause so many burns and cuts and she had never seen such a poor job. When I explained all of this to Lori in an email (I tried to get her on the phone but she never returned my call) she emailed back taking very little responsibility and said the spots and burns were due to her being heavily matted and having sensitive skin. After this I just asked for a refund - no use in arguing. The only reason I'm giving the second star is because I appreciate that Lori is a wise enough business woman to give a refund when one is due. I hope this is a one-off experience and isn't a common issue with them. I'm sure they have many happy customers. Nevertheless, i will not be coming back or recommending them to other people.

Um, okay... maybe it's boring for you to have her done that way, but it's how I like it. She did do a good job, so that was at least nice. The second time, I had an older woman do it, and she left a whole bunch of wax in my dog's ears (right there on the surface, so it would have been easy to trim off.) I ended up having to do it with scissors at home, which was more difficult and dangerous. She has the better tools to do it, so that was pretty disappointing. I decided to give her another chance... but then when I turned up for our appointment, she no-showed on me. While I appreciate mistakes can be made, it's really ridiculous that I wasn't notified that she wouldn't be there. I arranged my whole day around it, and also turned down an invitation to a baseball game because I had that appointment. I am very disappointed about the lack of professionalism and will not be returning to this groomer.

On entering there was a variety of pet supplies and to the back there were various puppies. I put my eye on a white maltese. I was asked if I wanted to see one and of course I said yes. We went to a room to have a little play time. I was hooked. The process went smoothly. They explained to me about what shots he had and that he would require a doctors visit. There was also a guarantee that the dog was in good health. I packed up on a few items and I was now a puppy dad. I would recommend this place as a great place to grab supplies or a great pet. It was a good experience.
