Dr. Harmon took good care of me. She prescribed some medication for the pain (which hasn't been too bad). One medication the pharmacist refused to fill, due to some regulatory issues. I called Westside Endodontics and Dr. Harmon really went the extra mile to get my issue resolved. I was able to get the medication filled the next day. Very good customer service! My first experience had been fairly frightening and I'd been hesitant about following up with the re-treatment for that tooth. Dr Kahn was very thorough and articulate in explaining what the procedure would entail. He was also able to explain what had gone wrong with the first procedure performed by the other doctor. The office staff was very efficient in the scheduling process and Carmella was exceptionally helpful in regards to my questions about insurance coverage. The actual root canal, while not pleasant, was pain free and over in an hour. I did have trouble initially in getting an appointment but I understand now that was likely a result of the answering service/undelivered message. I'm glad that I followed up and was able to get in for a consultation. I would highly recommend Dr. Kahn to those in need of a root canal or other endodontic treatment.

I could still fill tarter on some of my teeth so I asked for regular work with dental tools. I was told they do not use hand tools. This was the worst cleaning I have ever experience. After reading my three-star review, Dr. Ardalan reached out to me in a sincere desire to address my concerns and to improve his services. Since then, we have exchanged several e- mails. Most impressively, Dr. Ardalan has made changes to his practice based on those aspects of my treatment that were less than ideal -- the Wave treatment, his dental assistant, and my extended and painful recovery. As examples, my Wave assistant is no longer working at his office, and he plans to create unique follow up instructions for patients with severe abscesses, like mine, given the possibility of significant pain and longer recovery time. As with the previous review, I was very happy with Dr. Ardalan's treatment before and during the root canal procedure. He was professional, skilled, kind, and let me know what he was doing before and during the root canal. His office was very attractive and his front office staff was friendly, helpful and efficient.
