Today I got a gel pedicure with Loan & a gel manicure with Hi. They both did a good job.

One of the male nail techs did a really great job on my pedicure. He was middle aged. I wish I got his name, but he took his time. I came an hour before closing on a Sunday and I thought they would've rushed me but instead he was making sure everything was great. I'm very picky on my pedicures so to finally stumble upon a quality nail tech was a huge win. For nail salons it's always a hit or miss because they're a mom and pop shop. So i try to give them a bit of grace. I also try to tip them well no matter what because it's a small business. Also, it takes a lot of time and patience to find the right tech for you. But if I were to get a pedicure again, I'd come back for him. read more

Got a standard pedicure and a gel manicure. A little disappointed since my gel manicure was a bit uneven and messy. My tech left me with quite a bit of residual color on my skin around multiple nails and my finger. When she came to fix it she didn't remove it all so I kinda just gave up and left since some people were waiting to be serviced. Pedicure was great though! Very clean work. I also saw a different client getting some really cool nail art so maybe the techs here are hit or miss. Overall, I probably won't return since my manicure turned out a bit messy, staff are nice though. read more

Where to start.... First there's a sign out front that says 25 for a shellac manicure... that's a lie it's actually 35... then they say 20% under new management... I didn't get that either... the manicure itself wasn't too bad took a lot longer that I was told but I don't mind detail. The actual paint job and after that is just awful... the top coat is stuck to my skin on all fingers I can't I get it off... my nails are burning still and it's goopy and uneven n some have 2 coats some have 4... the ends are rigid and there's little fuzzes now cemented into my nails because she didn't clean it before another top coat was added. Not worth 35. Pay 40 and go is other nails salons in the area. I've been to a few and keep trying everyone one is Renton maybe eventually there will be one who is worth the money but this place is NOT it. read more

The man is extremely rude with a nasty attitude. I went in to get a nail fixed. Instead of using his words, he flicked my hand, which actually hurt, to tell me to put my hand under the light. I went in for a shellac pedicure for the first time. I was shown a menu with pedicure prices ranging from $30-$50 depending on add on's such as extra massage, hot towel soak etc. I chose the $35 option. When I was done, I was asked to pay in cash & that my bill was $55???? Apparently, the menu didn't included shellac but she didn't say that when she showed me the menu. I paid her but will not go back. Pedicure was good but it's definitely not a $55 pedi. I won't patronize businesses that aren't up front with prices. Not cool! read more

I was looking for a new nail salon in Renton and I really wanted to like this place but was very frustrated when I asked for my hard gel to be soaked off to get shellac and it was not removed all the way so my nails felt thick but they were breaking and the rest of the gel would rip my nail off as it came off and they did two different colors on my hands and toes when I asked for it to be the same color, and the told me they did the same color but absolutely did not. I know a photo would have done better justice but I was about to leave on vacation and I am just now taking the time to write a review. Super disappointed. read more

Very expensive for okay service. My whole family came in for a pedicure and my daughters and I got manicures too. Total cost was $175 for 4 pedicures and 3 manicures (doesn't include tip)... wish I would have known they charge $25 per manicure...(kinda pricy if you ask me.. literally just painted our nails.. no shellac, no French tip.. just paint)... the up side, they took so long on my kids they don't ever want to go back lol.. We went to another nail place in Bellevue and they only charge $10 for kids nails.. I will definitely go back there since our polish all came off in 3-4 days. read more

The only redeeming quality was the nice people Pedi and mani took way too long (pedi over an hour for basic) The nail polish was so old and limited to choose from The dip manicure I got started peeling the 2nd day I got home. I've never had that happen at my usual spot. The chair was so uncomfortable, digging into my back It was about 15% less cost than my normal place and 75% less enjoyable I can't even bear to go back and get them fixed. Extremely misleading $15 Shellac sign out front, for polish only not manicure like most advertisements in the industry. They were nice enough, but she sliced my cuticle SO bad that it took ten minutes to stop bleeding. Then they put superglue on it and didn't clean one side of my fingernail. See photo. Keep in mind I was figuring on a $15 payment so I figured why not just stay and finish - instead of walking out. They switched technicians and she finished through. The hand massage was less than 20 seconds and lackluster. Then she shoved my hands at me and said "You're done". So I went to pay and she said "$25." I asked about the sign and she made it out like I was stupid for asking, it's "just the shellac! I do your manicure!" So. Regardless of the good reviews on this place, I won't recommend to ANYONE, nor will I return to subject myself to more surgical movements on my cuticles. read more

I'm pretty bummed out about my experience and I normally don't write negative reviews because I know it can really hurt someone's business but I have some major concerns especially after reading some of the other negative reviews. I held off from writing one after my original experience even though I wanted to but now I have to speak up. My first time in was okay. I got acrylic nails, the gentleman helped me and did a good job on them. I also got a pedicure, they moved me to the pedicure station halfway through my mani and it felt a little rushed but I didn't mind. They completed my mani and did the pedi at the same time. The pedi was good but they didn't ask if I wanted gel or regular so they just started painting regular which is whatever I am awkward so I didn't say anything. But I don't think they used a top coat because chunks of it were chipping off by the next day. They also took my shoes to the manicure station and made me walk on the dirty floor barefoot right after my pedi. Nobody wants that after a fresh pedi service! Your services are cheaper if you pay in cash which I never saw a sign for. I think that's pretty shady. I went in for a fill and a different older lady did my nails. She was slow, didn't ask any questions about shape, if I wanted them shorter, etc and when I spoke up she just said "I know" which I thought was odd because she never asked haha! When they were done they were uneven, crooked, lumpy. Not cute or the shape she apparently knew I wanted and did a different glitter than I had asked for. The owner (I think) painted my nails. She called the gal over to look and they were speaking their native language and I could tell it wasn't good. The owner asked if my nail hurt, which it at the time didn't so I said no. She carried on, I left (paid in cash cause I learned my lesson lol) and didn't go back. I got a fill somewhere else to which they said my nailbed was damaged. Fast forward to now and my acrylic pops off to unveil a LOVELY GREEN AND BROWN INFECTION This is the worst timing for me possible I could not be any more upset. Unfortunately I had an upsetting experience with this older man that's a worker. He sits at the front desk he is so rude and he speaks in Vietnamese the entire time. If you ask for the prices he will automatically start disrespecting you in Vietnamese. After I just couldn't deal with the man disrespect anymore I made sure to tell him to stop working on my nails I'll have just the one lady do my pedicure. I wish the owner was here today as she made sure it was a great experience for my mom and I. Sundays the owner is not here and the employees are careless and rude as they all start laughing very loud and following the guys rude behavior at the front desk. After I told them I would do a review they start to act accordingly but the guy continue to talk to the lady as she does my pedi. I've gotten to the point I had to ask him to stop distracting and talking to her as he continue to make me feel uncomfortable. He agreed to stop talking to the lady so she can do my nails and that made my experience a little better. Peace and quiet and no disrespect. After he stopped talking of course. The best part is the coffee although this time he made me so upset I didn't drink it. More customers came in and there was a nice lady with short black hair who started to greet everyone so nicely. I told the lady who's doing my nails I should've received the same treatment as those customers. The lady gave me a nice foot massage unfortunately my toe bleed and it's really sore afterwards. I used to come here all the time. This was my spot to get my nails done every time. I came in today and the owner wasn't there. ( she's my favorite. ) she is an absolute sweetheart. Very understanding. Anyway, I proceeded to let the other girls do my nails. I asked for a gel manicure and a pedicure with French tips. I have a broken wrist that was just operated on 2 weeks ago. I let her know. She constantly pulled and tugged it. I was then trying to enjoy my foot massage when the girl doing my nails kept on cutting me with the little file thing they use. It was hard to relax. She cut me the last time so bad I had to jerk and automatically yell OW!!!!!! she just kept Saying " so sorry". It's very frustrating between that and the language barrier. I don't like the fact they speak in their own language the entire time. It's very rude. I'm a nice easy going person but enough is enough. Finally 2.5 hours later....... I went to pay..... $90. Uh WHAT!?!?!? for a mani and pedicure ??? She said " we gave you the number 3 pedicure it's $45 and your gel is $25". I said okay but that doesn't add to $90. Then she adds " oh well the metallic color you choose is $15 MORE!!!!!!" What the hell!?!? Why wasn't I told this????? Also, it was a crappy job of the metallic. They use pink first then put the metallic on. You can see the pink on every nail by my cuticle. she didn't even put the color covering up the pink all the way and there's tons of bubbles in the gel. If I'm going to pay $40 for a manicure it better be good. But it looks like a $10 manicure. I'm extremely disappointed. I, unfortunately, need to find a new nail place. It's wrong to charge me extra for something I had NO IDEA about. I wish the owner was there. She would've made things right. Oh well. On to the next shop. Ps. I really hope my finger doesn't get infected. As I just had surgery I am susceptible to infection and she cut me multiple times. Once drawing blood.
