I will say the salon is cute when I walked in, and they offer drinks. A few things I don't love, the chairs don't move, I felt soo far from the desk, my back was killing me. Another thing, my service was so rushed. They asked what shape I wanted, as a nail biter I don't know anything of nails, I said idk round? She ended up squaring off my nails and my nail beds aren't long enough, so they looked soo wonky. The gel nail ended up peeling off the same week. Service was over 50 dollars. Asked to tip 22 percent, and she ended up giving the tech a 22 dollar tip. Which I'm happy to give if I sat in the chair longer than 35 minutes. They are in a transition period of owner ship. Pedicures Experience - I just had the best pedicure here! Katie took her time and did such a wonderful job cleaning, trimming, and painting my toenails. The attention to detail was amazing, and she gave me the most relaxing foot and leg massage, it didn't feel rushed at all. I left feeling totally pampered and refreshed. I really regret coming back here and not paying attention to the more recent reviews. My nail tech, Nicki, seemed very nice and attentive during the appointment. But later that evening, I noticed she had nipped chunks out of the top edges of most of my digits, causing significant pain, irritation, and bleeding (on my cuticles as well). The pain was severe enough to keep me awake at night. Sadly, I will probably have permanent disfigurement and scarring from this. Of lesser concern, the paint job was not even that good. Really sad to have to leave this review after my last experience. I have been a client here for over a year and have had amazing experiences with Jade. Unfortunately, depending on which nail tech you get, that experience can really vary. Jade is on vacation for the month, so I was recommended to see a nail tech named Mimi in her absence. Jade and I have our cadence of 4 fills, then a new set, with my acrylic nails. It was time for a new set, and these nails were particularly important to me as I will be getting engaged, which I explained to Mimi. Immediately when Mimi looked at my nails, she tried to talk me out of getting a new set, telling me I just needed a fill. I explained to her I had been filling the current set for months, and wanted a new set as my real nails underneath were grown out and pulling away from the acrylic. As the client paying for the service, I should be able to choose which service I receive. Thats when it all really went downhill. Mimi grabbed a pair of CUTICLE NIPPERS and started yanking my existing acrylics off. I pulled my hands away, expressed that what she was doing was painful, and asked her politely to soak my nails off, as my usual nail tech Jade always does. Mimi shrugged me off, and straight up refused. Instead, grabbing a nail tip and proceeding to try to pull my acrylics off by sliding a nail tip underneath, which again, was really painful, and is not proper protocol. I expressed to her very clearly that I am uncomfortable with her ripping my nails off, and would like her to soak them off, which is what im paying for. Again, Mimi straight up refused. She responded with "when it hurts I stop." I was becoming upset, and went to talk to the gal at the front desk. I explained the situation to her, and she was super understanding. She quickly went over to Mimi and told her "the client wants her nails soaked off, not ripped off." Mimi was visibly unhappy with this correction. In what world should the client have to advise the nail tech on how to properly remove acrylics? By this point, I was so uncomfortable, embarrassed, confused, etc that I burst into tears. Mimi was not the least bit apologetic toward me. She was defensive, argumentative, and refused to hear me. Why do we have to get to the point of pain rather then doing it properly from the start? Luckily, Quinn was kind enough to offer to take over and do my nails properly. Her empathetic service, as well as that of the receptionist, is the only reason I leave a generous 2 stars instead of 1. I hope this review will lead to proper education of your nail techs. It doesn't take an expert to know that nails should NEVER be ripped/torn/yanked/pulled off. A quick Google search will tell you that doing so will result in weak, damaged and brittle nails underneath, as well as leave room for infection as it tears several layers off the nail. I strongly believe Mimi knew the proper protocol, but out of laziness, refused to follow it. The only thing that the manager Derek did in this case to take care of me as a returning client in tears in his salon? Only took off the charge for having my nails ripped off improperly. I paid exactly $169 for this horrendous experience, and tipped Quinn a full 20% as she deserved it. What I really wanted? An apology and responsibility to be taken. read more

I've been a loyal customer here for the past few months/ when they opened. Gave them consecutive chances hoping it'll work out but today was definitely the last straw. What kept me coming here was house proximity, Crystal the very kind and welcoming receptionist, salon cleanliness, and the online booking system. I've tried 3 nail techs here and switched it up lately with the last 2 (extremely nice by the way) because I just didn't have time for a 2- hour dip gel session. With today's visit, it was extremely disappointing. Everything was rushed (there for 45- 50 minutes). When asking for a narrower shape, she responded with "it's too late now, you should've told me earlier". I also left with two dents somehow and rising bubbles throughout all my nails. When I called to ask for a Manager within an hour of leaving, Crystal took my number and I got a call back from her stating she is the Manager as well and could address my concerns. She was very understanding and offered to fix my nails if I came back. I returned 3 hours later, which was also 45 minutes before closing. Huge disappointment yet again- totally rushed and left with the same issue (there for 15 minutes). The (new) tech tried to fix the bubbles but it appeared again. Her response was, "it's going to happen no matter what. Try another color next time." She also told me I couldn't re-shape my nails. What a waste of time and money- nearly $100. ***Update 5/29 - Owner of the salon reached out , almost immediately after leaving the reviews and offered to redo my nails, major PROPS to him for trying to make it right and owning this review! I'll give it to him for running an ethical and respectable business when customers provide less than stellar reviews/concerns!!! Thank you! Upped my review from 2* to 3*!*** Nail tech I had was mediocre at best. Asked 3x for oval shaped nails, she still shaped them square. Shellac doesn't even reach the edges or near my cuticles and when I asked to fix it, she just shook her head in acknowledgment but didn't fix it, so essentially I'll need a fill in 2-weeks or less vs normally getting by every 3-weeks. I opted for a matte top coat, had to have her fix it on a couple fingers where the edges were still shiny, not matte. Her quality of work/attention to detail is seriously lacking. Not sure if her eyesight was poor or didn't quite understand, English isn't her native language. Ombré of 2-different colors wasn't an option. Definitely didn't feel welcomed by her, but the receptionist Crystal was outstanding...the hospitality stopped there. The customer next to me was engaging and sweet, they could've taken some tips from her. As a new client, you'd think the staff would want to get to know you, especially since I was the only customer in the salon at 3pm, on a Wednesday afternoon, for an hour...loss opportunity of a potential new regular clientele. Total was $72+$10 tip for a gel fill and 6-finger unique design, forget hybrid gel. Nail art was not her strength, nor did anyone else offer to help/do it for her or her asking for help. By the time she was on the second finger design, I gave up and just settled to get out of there. I have an appt with my daughter for a spa pedi on Monday, 6/3, reconsidering and going elsewhere. Was in search of a new nail tech that can do unique designs, quality work and I'm willing to pay for it ($140+$30 tip for a fill regularly, but was hoping for something more conveniently located near home, guess I'm headed back to downtown Bellevue) when the work is well done and in an establishment that was welcoming. I'm particular about my nails and my treatment and after going to 8th day for my last 4 nail fills, I'm really happy with them. The first unique thing about them is that they have an actual receptionist who checks you in for your service. I haven't partaken, but they have a selection of beverages, both alcoholic and not, they offer you. The nail techs really listen to what you want and give good input. They love to do designs and feature them on their website. I noticed the owner is a guy who doesn't provide any services but stops by often. I kind of raised my eyebrows at this but I've seen the staff when he's around and they are happy and at ease with him. Only bummer is my original tech left after just a few months but since I don't know why, I can't really judge. Any tech they have can do a stellar job. And the prices are fair! read more

Beware! This business does false advertising. I brought an ad they posted stating Boeing employees could redeem a free manicure or pedicure effective 10/15-11/15/24. I stopped by today to redeem the pedicure only to be told they stopped the offer when the strike ended. This was not a condition in the offer. It said FROM 10/15 thru 11/15. It did not state it ended when the strike ended. Just because the strike is over doesn't mean people have money - the strikers haven't even gotten a full paycheck since it ended. Additionally, thousands of people just got layoff notice today. False advertising- I will never come back here please stay away from their business. Not only is it clean and comfortable but they are very friendly, use nice polish and they do a great job. My gel lasts for weeks which is better than anywhere else. The spa pedicure is heaven.
