For a visit to family for spring break. My Jeep Tranny gave out. ~ April Fools ~ NOT We got a tow to this shop, found the damage was Sevier & we were basically stranded with out a life line. The owner/manager John literally came to our rescue! Words can not describe the appreciation we feel toward this man! His professionalism, southern hospitality as well as compassion, kind words with some added humor he extended to us, assuring us the problem is not without solution. Reassuring me it could be replaced and his willingness to go above and beyond what a customer would typically encounter, was mind blowing!!! This was nothing less than the BEST experience I have ever encountered. I have worked with many mechanics over the decades. Most are not really concerned about ones situation or the safety and well being of the customer. However, John was compassionate and enabled us to continue on our journey. We were treated like family, I felt like God dropped me on this driveway. Through what felt like a nervous break down, because I did not have many options. I was just under 300 miles from our destination & 400 miles from home. Stuck in the middle. We left Jeep with him & continued on the ujourney to FL. John met us on a Sunday afternoon, April 7, 2019 even though this was his day off. At a Mini mechanic claiming the same issue!RIP OFF! Went to my local mechanic and he said they were not being honest! since the owner wants to attack me, I was at this shop once before and it was a positive interaction however they said they cleared all my check, engine, lights and warning lights! Once I drove around for a few days, those lights all came back on and I purchased a scanner to figure out what was going on. Turns out that they could've easily figured out that all I needed was a Vapor Canister Purge Solenoid . So after two visits to the shop, not only did they not diagnose it, but it causes me to fail my inspection so then I had to purchase a reader and then fixed it myself! and they said that my warning lights for my headlights and my tail lights were short! So I bought headlights myself and put them in and the tail light was an easy fix, but they couldn't figure this out either! This shop is a farce. Don't trust them whatsoever the owners arguing with me over their failure to actually do a good job for their customers! This car runs great and I take care of it and have every maintenance done that I can as it's driven all across the country for over 107,000 miles so for you to question my upkeep of it is offensive!!!

It took $1,500 AND about a week to get the truck running again, but it broke down a week later. The work was supposed to be guaranteed, so I took it back to him to get it repaired. I picked it up 6 weeks later and it broke down again after driving one block. He had it for another two weeks but could not diagnose the problem. I finally had enough of him and his lies, so I wound up sending it to another shop. The moral of this story is DO NOT MAKE THE MISTAKE OF ALLOWING ALBERT OR ANYONE AT HIS SHOP TO TOUCH YOU CAR. HE IS A LIER, A THIEF, AND SHOULD BE ARRESTED FOR STEALING PEOPLES MONEY.

Long story short after all the bullshit, we bring it here and they were great and friendly. They test drove it and knew almost instantly what the problem was. The sun shell needed to be replaced and after researching on the internet we were positive they made a correct diagnoses and had confidence in them. They saved us a lot of money too from the idiots that wanted to rebuild the transmission. There's some crooked people out there but I think these guys have your best interest. The Coastal owner was there on Saturday (though they are closed) and contacted my son-in-law to discuss repairs. Their crew put grandson's car to the head of the list and worked diligently all week to get parts and fix 20 years worth of troubles. Finally ready to go, and we drove back on Saturday, 4/23/22, to drop them off in Beaufort - and they continued home to Pittsburgh. Cannot say enough good things about Mike and his crew, who really came through to get grandson's car back on the road, in good condition. They kept everyone informed of progress, made the repairs in record time, and (in my opinion) charged a fair price. Thanks Mike!
