I took my Lexus in to get detailed here. Jim is absolutely amazing. When I say he knows what his is doing it's an understatement. Many detailers will fly through a car just applying the wax and buffing. Jim actually did it at the right speed, covering the right amount with wax at the right speeds. He went through 2 different types of compound and got every scratch out of the car. He spent more than 1 day on my car and didn't charge me anything extra. I felt like I definitely got my monies worth. Ive used Mobile Detailing people before, but they don't come close to the attention to detailing of a place where you drop your car off. I wish I could post before and after pictures on here...it's absolutely insane the scratches he go out of my black lexus. I didn't even think it could look this good! If you care fore a really quality job he's your guy. The owner actually does the detailing and has been doing it for 25 yrs, comes from NJ where they all know how to detail a car right! Years of carpooling left many marks on my car, from the snacks eaten and spilled in the back seat to the mascara stains the teenagers left on the ceiling and the unclaimed stains that I really don't want to know about. The carpooling is done and I brought the car to Jim. The transformation almost made me feel like I was in my 20's again. Every part of the car - tires, trunk, floor mats, steering column, the area behind the backseat headrest - everything was clean. He must have some secret formulas for removing the mystery stains because they were gone. The car is so clean my now mostly grown children are keeping it clean out of respect and awe. They can't remember when it use to look this way. The car looks and feels new. My husband, a car geek home-garage motorhead of 50+ years who got into cars in the early 60's restoring a Model A with his father, said he has never seen a detail job of this quality. If the results and service I received are the norm, then the name of this business is no exageration. I could not believe how good my car looked when i went to pick it up from Jim's shop. In fact, I'd name it Beyond Perfection Auto Detailing. It was like when you see people on those cable shows where they make over a house before the owner puts it on the market, and all the sudden the owner doesn't want to sell it any more because it looks better than the whole time they lived in it. The carpets are spotless, the stainless trim gleams with no spots, the wheels, which had brown spots on the chrome, now look practically new, the paint sparkles (including a patch that the original painters had never buffed out. I didn't even point it out to him, but it's shiny now), and the interior is cleaner than I think it has ever been. Anyway, no exageration is necessary here. I thought the price was fair going in, but when I saw the results, I definitely received more than I paid for. I took my car in to see Jim after three and a half years of unkempt college life. I was simply praying that he could make it look like something a grown up drives. I was amazed. He made the entire car look brand new. I am not exaggerating - I am the kind of guy who hang dries his t shirts to avoid pilling, and this just made my week. The side pockets are not just hastily vaccuumed, but truly clean He even worked to successfully remove paint from my windshield where someone dinged my car. I am a huge fan of Jim and Perfection Auto Detailing and it's simple to describe why. When you bring your car to a large shop, they sell you some wash package and then have you pick from some ridiculously over-priced list of detailing services that they bang out in a couple of hours. I have gotten my cars back from these places with tree sap and scuff marks just waxed over and every part of my car that wasn't easily visible still coated in dirt. Not with Perfection. For a full detail, Jim takes ONE CAR A DAY and spends the whole day doing absolutely everything - if you've got tree sap or over-spray or god knows what on your car, he'll clay bar it, buff it out, whatever it takes. Every surface will be spotless, and every nook and cranny will be clean. Simply put, he cares - you can see his face beaming with pride when you pick up your car and it's always flawless work. My 10 year old car looks and feels new. I was actually considering getting a newer car because mine is older and was looking so shabby inside and out, before I decided to come here for the inside and outside detailing. It is literally amazing. My car feels, looks and smells new and I really can't believe it. I have an old 40 year old Volvo which i decided to treat to a detail. A few months back I was looking for a place that could do some automotive upholstery and I ended up calling Jim who told me about a great place that ended up giving me a great deal... so I decided I would take my car to Jim for a detail... He did a fantastic job. He made my 40 year old carpets look like they were only 10 years old. At one point I sat down with some bar keepers friend and spent an hour trying to remove all the rust from my hubcaps... nothin. But once I got my car back from Jim there was not a spot of rust on any of them. And to be perfectly honest I had called a few other places about a detail only to find them appallingly expensive. I called Jim at Perfection Auto Detailing and set up an appointment. Jim was super friendly and accommodating. When I went to pick up my car I was honestly totally blown away. The high gloss on the paint looked like the day the car was purchased! After closer inspection, I noticed that every door jam, every crack, and every space on the car had been cleaned and waxed. The interior was equally as impressive. All the door panels, dash, etc. looked totally brand new. The money I spent was worth every penny! Jim is a rare kind of detailer. My girlfriend and I took our ridiculously dirty Infiniti SUV In to see Jim. He is a very nice guy, took great care of us, and the car looked as good as new. Even the exterior blemishes were harder to notice. Needless to say we were very impressed. My brother has been in the car business for 10 years, and even he was very pleased. Mind you, it takes a lot to convince my brother that anything has been done right when it comes to vehicles. Jim's attention to detail and thoroughness is very much appreciated. After months of letting my daily and my classic devolve into greasy, dirty chaos, made a quick trip back to Jim and, yup, he's just as AMAZING as he was the first time around! He also showed me how completely repulsive my headlights had become -- they were filmy, yellowing, and it was no wonder I was having a hard time seeing at night. I took my wife's 2007 Audi Q7 to Jim for a thorough interior cleaning and the whole car now looks almost brand new. He did a fantastic job of cleaning out several years worth of small children destruction in the back seats and even got all the stains out of the carpets. He apologized for not getting the floor mats as clean but frankly it was so dirty that I was almost too embarrassed to leave it with him in the first place. I used to refer to my car as a "CrumbPost Pile." My car had gotten so dirty that my husband refused to drive it. To make matters worse, I had a dying cat urinate on the seat as we were heading to the vet. As you can imagine riding in my car was very unpleasant. I recently bought a used car and YIKES did it smell like someone else's dirty dogs. I called several car detailing people around town and while they were all similarly priced, not a single one sounded professional. Believe the other reviews- this guy is an artist. The interior of my 96 Jeep had never been cleaned beyond the complimentary vacuum they give you at Jiffy Lube. After a latte spilled on floor made the whole car smell like decay, I was forced to finally address the situation. WOW is all I can say. The car looks amazing and the putrid dairy smell is gone. The owner did an AMAZING job on my Jeep Cherokee Laredo. I have a six year old and my back seats were filthy. (Sad to admit) But there were some deep stains that I thought would never come out. I scheduled an appointment about two months ago (because I read the awesome reviews, I decided to wait), and it was worth it! We took our Honda Pilot to Jim to remove white paint splattered on the right side tires, splash guards, and quarter panel. I was not optimistic because the paint had been on there for a while and I had not been able to remove a single speck, even by scaping it to the point of marring the vehicles paint.
