They did a great job for us. I don't live on the North Shore, but I came there to help some friends. They had an extremely dirty apartment with a large truckload of trash to clean out and many years of dirt and grime everywhere. The Perfection team super-cleaned it in one day so it was in ready-to-move-in condition. The 3-man crew were hard-working, efficient, careful and courteous. They were paid by the hour, but they really worked fast. We were there to guide them, and they took directions well and were cautious. Their manager was conscientious, answered a lot of questions, and returned calls promptly. At first I was hesitant after seeing their variety of good and bad reviews on Google and Yelp. Had these folks come to clean my condo after moving out. Made the appointment a week ahead of time for 5pm. As is, this was very early since I work in the loop and had to get back to Northbrook. I don't understand why so many services behave like they're doing you a favor by working after 5pm... does no one else that calls them have a job? The day prior to the cleaning I get a call confirming the date and time, which has mysteriously moved up to 3pm. I know for a fact that I arranged for 5pm and I spoke with the same person who was now calling me. After telling her that if they can't do it I need to call someone else, they agreed for a second time to come at the time I originally requested. On the day of the cleaning I rushed home and got there about 4:30. 5pm passes. Three calls to the service later and the cleaning crew arrived at 5:45. The crew of four took until almost ten pm to clean a two bedroom two bath condo. They worked slowly and did just an okay job. For a just average cleaning that should have taken two hours with the four people they had, they charged me $460. They were late, didn't do a particularly good job, charged a huge amount, and their dispatchers and owners are a pain to deal with. read more

ATTENTION REALTORS: DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY I recently had a move out clean done on my house. They charged an outrageous amount of money for a mediocre to lousy cleaning job. They left stains on the floor and washed off all of the numbers and lettering on my Viking double wall oven. When I called them to find a resolution to the oven situation, the owner, Bob, didn't say a word, put me on hold and transferred me to the office manager, his mother. Joyce, the mom, was incredibly rude and obnoxious. She refused to let me talk and constantly talked over me. I am still waiting for a resolution to fixing my oven. I would never use them ever again and wouldn't recommend them to anyone! read more

Hired Perfection Cleaning to do a deep clean of my 3500 sq ft house after a summer of "home improvements" including floor refinishing, interior painting and window replacements. Let me just say, the house was filthy. Edgar (supervisor) and his crew of 4 arrived on time and began bringing in a considerable amount of equipment and supplies. Then they got to work. They were energetic, efficient and thorough. They moved beds and furniture. Did they miss a spot or two? Of course, but certainly to be expected on a job of this scale. It was not the most economical route to go, but the quality and professionalism was worth every dollar. I'd hire them again. Very pleased with the results. read more

NEVER EVER use this cleaning company! If this is how they treat their customers I can only imagine how they treat their employeesI scheduled my appointment weeks ago. Joyce told me the cleaners would be here at 7:00 AM it is now 7:45 AM. Joyce called me a day ago to confirm the appointment again I said 7:00 AM, She said yes they will be there by 7 AM. I called the office the man who answered the phone argued with me. He told me it was impossible that Joyce told me that. I asked him why are you arguing with me, he kept saying that's impossible there's no way she said seven. basically calling me a liar. He was rude he did not apologize and he had no problem losing my business. 7:00 am and 9:00 am are very different time! I would have noted that. They're liars I canceled my appointment and he didn't care. They clearly don't care about servicing their customers. I would never ever ever use this company!!!! I'd give zero stars if I could. HORRIBLE! They charge by the hour and then take complete advantage of you. I had a team of 4 men come to clean my 1st/2nd floors. After FOUR HOURS they had not yet started on the first floor (which I'd made clear was the floor I needed cleaned the most). I called the owner to complain, and when he was not at all apologetic or helpful, I kicked the guys out. Upshot: It cost me $450 to get only half my house clean. I had to spend the rest of my day cleaning. If I had left the cleaners stay, it would likely have cost me about $1000 total for a routine house cleaning. read more

I would name this company "Scam Scam and Scam". I had 3 guys cleaning my house for 2 hours and they did not even clean half of my house. They do an ok job but worked very slowly. I have 3 bathrooms and only 1 bathroom got cleaned within 2 hours. I told them each to do different things. But they did not listen and started doing the way they want. All three of them were cleaning the one bathroom . The old women on the phone( her name is Joyce) was very rude and had a bad attitude. Now I feel like fool who just trashed $200 for nothing. I've had Perfection clean my condo a few times. I had a hard time finding a local carpet cleaning company that can do condos because most companies use truck mounted system, but Perfection has portable units. They do a thorough job. It does take a long time (last time it was nearly 4 hours). The upside is that they spot treat each and every stain and then go over the whole surface with the machine. I'm very satisfied with the results. And the cost of having my carpets professionally cleaned once a year is still significantly less than remodeling and putting in hardwood floors. read more

It is weird to see lower stars on the reviews... My experience? Well, 3 guys came to clean the house after an Estate Sale and a Salvation Army pick up after that. They ripped out carpeting in one room, carpet padding on stairs, and 2 1/2 inch staples deep in hard wood oak flooring. Cleaned the basement, first floor, second floor, and windows (in and out). They were friendly as can be. Reception is great. Old School customer service... you definitely know where you stand before and after, and actually during the cleaning as well. This company came to us with a great reputation and was recomended by our home remodeling company. They portrayed themselves as being the top tier of cleaning services on the North Shore. We engaged them via telephone to come in and throughly clean our home after a second floor addition which left the house covered in grime and drywall dust. They told us that a manager and a team of three cleaners would be coming to our home to perform the agreed upon services (which we spent a good deal of time discussing with the somewhat surly manager who responded to our call). When the day of service arrived, the "manager" did not come to the house but the three cleaners did (at $30 per hour per person). We instructed the cleaners as to which rooms we needed them to work on which included an office which has mahogany paneilng throughout. The cleaners spent 7+ hours vacuuming and wiping down drywall dust on the first floor of our home to the tune of almost $630. When we moved back in to the house we realized that the mahogany paneling was ruined by the cleaners having used hot wated to wipe them down (the dark glossy finish was clouded entirely like a huge cold drink were set on it). We called the company to discuss the matter and the manager with whom we had previously dealt first denied that his people even cleaned the paneling ("they only wiped down the base boards") even though they wiped 1/8" of drywall off the entire room. Then he denied that they used hot water on the paneling (which we confirmed with the original stainer was the only substance that could have created the clouded look). My wife observed them cleaning the room!!! The guy then proceeeds to tell us that he is a lawyer and that he has zero responsibility for the WAY ("I wash my hands of this and will just send you to my insurance company") in which his people clean the rooms. Accoriding to him It is our responsibility to tell them exactly how to clean and with what cleaning solutions (PERFECTION CLEANING INDEED). There are1000's of dollars of damage to my office and Perfection is responsible and has taken no ownership. The manager was rude beyond belief during multiple calls to ask what he would be willing to do to help rectify the situation. He took zero responsibility only saying that "I was a lawyer before this job and you just try to sue me!!!" I wish I were kidding about this. Steer clear. Unless you are the expert and just do not want to do the work, these folks are trouble. read more

I highly recommend this cleaning service. We just left our home of 36 years and hired them for "move out clean" the day of the move. Joyce was terrific in advance by explaining the service and making the arrangements and had good suggestions. Three men arrived with all of the equipment and they had quite a challenge since the movers were still all over the house (despite saying the top floor would be all clear by 3pm). The house was a dusty mess but they worked very quickly and had it sparkling despite having to work around the movers for more than 2 hours of their total time and didn't even get irritated. They also took two pieces of furniture to the alley that the movers had left upstairs. Terrific service and my thanks especially to Ricardo and Javier. My only regret is that I didn't hire them once a year for a deep clean over our 36 years in the house. read more

This job was an absolute joke! I used this company 5 years ago and they did a great job. They charged me $500, but the work they did was well worth it. I am not sure if there are new owners, or if they just don't care anymore, because I just used them again, and would not recommend them to clean my dog house! They charged me over $800 dollars and did a total lick and a promise. They missed my microwave, my shower, half of my cabinets and best of all there was construction dust on the granite that was not even wiped off. My windows and saw dust and dead bugs on the sills. When I called to discuss what was done (or I should say not done), the man on the phone was beyond rude and at one point hung up on me while I was telling him about everything that was missed. He said he would send me a $25 refund and I could find someone in my area to clean it again! He said that because i did not want my windows cleaned they did not touch the sills. I guess it is all or nothing with this group, and the route they take is definitely NOTHING!!!! I was insulted and taken advantage of. I will never use them again and would highly recommend that you call someone else before considering this group. You would be better off going to the phone book! read more

SCAM SCAM SCAM. 4 men show up, I'm charged $180 per hour, $45 per man, and 2 hours into the cleaning in a vacant townhouse built 3 years ago in pristine condition and they didn't get to the toilets, didn't get to the appliances, didn't mop the floors...they wanted $1500+ for an 1800 sq ft vacant home, and said it would take 8 hours to clean the house. REALLY???? Lady named Joyce on the phone told me $45/hour per 40 mins....She forgot the per man part. A man was assigned to the kitchen, and after 2 hours he still didn't clean the appliances. Wow! Scam. It's a townhouse in the Northshore. It was built less then 3 years ago. Owners left the house in pristine condition. Every worker was asked to leave the property. I hired another cleaning crew who charged $100.00 and left it sparkling. read more

I had a very similar experience as many of the above. They charged my CC without my authorization for a ridiculous amount--$1000.00++ prior to our move-in. When we arrived at our house we found their crew eating and listening to music in our driveway even though the job wasn't done and we had told them that we were moving in that day and we were on our way. So we arrive with our movers(also hourly workers) and they resume cleaning even though we tell them repeatedly to stop as the movers were working! We couldn't figure out why they wouldn't stop as it was just completely interfering with the move-in. Then we get this unreal charge on our CC. Do not trust these people. After the fact I tried to address the situation with them--they were unbelievably rude--I had a newborn and didn't want to continue on this incredibly negative path with them. read more

Worth every penny I paid and I was happy to pay for the amount of work they did. Not sure what happened to your appt but it was no problem for me and they did a great job. I think really that you should be thrilled to death and appreciative that people actually worked so hard and late for you untill 10 pm instead of giving this company a bad rating. Don't use Perfection. They deserve zero stars.I used them twice...The first time, years ago, I didn't like them and not sure why I used them again! They are horrible. It took three men over an hour and a half to dry vac a clean cement floor (and they didn't move any furniture) dust and clean a brand new bathroom. Mind you...due to remodeling, there is nothing in or on the furniture..and there isn't that much. I could have done that myself in 2 hours! They forgot to clean the toilet...didn't clean the inside of a medicine cabinet and just overall did a mediocre job. When I called the people at the office (the owners?) they are rude. They act insulted if you are not happy and then they don't tell you that they charge for an hour if they are there 45 minutes. And at over $100 per hour for the three guys..that makes a big difference. The people in the office are abrupt and not customer friendly...just sooo rude! The only good thing is that the men who came to clean were friendly and nice..unlike their employer! read more
