Magic Carpet Pride did an outstanding job of cleaning a very doggy-smelling large sectional, rugs and an entire basement full of carpeting. What a great company! I needed four rooms cleaned (one with a very bad stain on the carpet) and a neighbor recommended Magic Carpet Pride so I called them. It was easy to set-up the appointment, the individuals doing the work arrived on time and were professionally dressed (they always wore a covering over their shoes whenever they were in the house) and very polite. They told me how long it would take and they completed the work on time. So, how did they do....a fantastic job. What a team! Clean cut and professional, as caring, knowledgable Professionals with a customer satisfaction focus. No canned formula here. The MCP team brought our 8 year old off- white carpet back to life as if it were new. I was skeptical because of the many dog spots resulting from stubborn urine stains that nothing seemed to work on. Yet, after their treatments and trying two of their super stain removers, voila!...and our floors went from embarrassment to clear, clean and odor free. Our area rug was an even uglier mess that smelled awful and was also unsightly, but after a quick removal to MCP's treatment site for a thorough shampoo, it too was new again. Very personable guide, I have been on 3 different segway tours of grant park / lakeshore. I'm from Chicago and bring my kids almost yearly because it's a nice ride. All companies follow very similar routes but there is a huge difference between a guide who knows the city and history and a segway chaperone. I travel a bit and use bike or segway tours as an intro to a city and to get local advice on what to do the following g days. Ie local pearls. This was a segway chaperone experience....great if you just want to cruise the lakefront. Easy parking at location with garage next door, safe and close to park but would not be my first choice for out of town guests looking to combine a tour with learning about the history, fun facts etc. very professional and accommodating experience. read more

A really great find who has always come through for us. We've used them over the years to clean our basement carpets after a major leak (and then again after the leak wasn't contained as well as we thought it was!) They've come in before and after construction to pick up our stair runner and then put it back again. They've cleaned our carpets, furniture and drapes extremely well. Warren, the owner, as well as his staff are amazing. Very detail oriented and careful with your furniture. They have been doing my carpets for many years, always happy with them. Warren used to install carpet so he knows his stuff and can do repair work. He helped me out one year when my daughter left the water running and flooded my 1st floor. Saved my carpet (whole thing was saturated) loaned me Comercial fans to dry us out (cement slab too) sprayed Microban everywhere so no mold! Got me new padding and re stretched and tacked down my carpet a few weeks later when I was all dry. He did all this with a call of panic and was at my house in an hour (not what I expected nor his norm, I just got real lucky). He saved my carpet and sanity! He truly cares about hus customers.
