I found perfection nail on Yelp after reading numerous good reviews. Having just moved to the area I was in dire need of a new salon. After coming here 3 times, I have had positive experiences every time! I have seen Cindy for acrylic fills. She is extremely thorough and I realized places in the past I've gone to weren't! She pays attention to detail, especially with cuticles and shaping your nails the way you want. All my nails are even and the cuticles are perfectly shaped. She takes time to file and touch up your nails after adding the acrylic powder so your nails aren't clumpy at all. My sets with her have lasted me a month and could've gone more! She's amazing at applying the polish, even coats with no mistakes. She really takes the time to make sure my nails are 1000% to my liking. I alternate with long and short nails and this time around I asked her to cut them down short. Extremely professional as well. The salon itself is in a great location in Nob hill by Trader Joe's. It's always very clean and the chairs are comfy. There's an overwhelming amount of polishes to choose from as well! There's a restroom for customers, waters, and candies. My appointments have always been on time and typically last about an hour for a fill. For a standard fill (just polish and no designs or accents) I pay $45 + tip. I went in for a gel pedicure. I booked the appointment through the link on their Google maps listing rather than on the website listed here on Yelp cuz it seemed to be more recently updated with the dates their closed. It was super easy and simple to book! Though they do take walk ins as well, which many customers did walk in at the time I was in the salon. It's a small storefront across from Trader Joe's, but very cute and cozy. After I was sat down in the massage chair, they asked if I wanted tea or water and got started on my pedicure. The gel pedicure includes a nice foot/leg scrub, the actual pedicure with the cuticle work and gel polish, hot stone massage, lotion massage, and hot towels. Overall, very good work and attention to detail and would come back again! The gel pedicure costed $50 which is fair for sf pricing. They take card but highly suggest paying tip in cash. read more

This is a great place, IMO. I am not a total nail place aficionado but I do go in for the occasional much needed pedi as a cure for "man feet." Writing to say that they are open! I went today for a pedicure and had the whole place to myself. Right when you enter you must use hand sanitizer, they take your temp and you have to sign a waiver. Everyone must wear masks and there are hard plastic barriers at each station. They also sat me nearest to the door which I appreciated for the air flow. I came to this place prior to Covid and wanted to support them now that they are back. If you feel comfortable doing so they are doing a great job keeping things safe and clean! I followed Mai here from another salon because she is the absolute best pedicurist; she is very thorough, takes her time, and gives the most relaxing massage! I got an old fashion manicure and my nails still look fantastic over a week later. The entire staff is super sweet and nice, the salon is clean and inviting and they don't rush you, which is unusual. I don't get my nails done at all. My last experience was over a decade ago for high school senior prom and I was traumatized with my one of my cuticles bleeding. Ever since then, I've been avoiding nail salons. However, I came here to get my nails done for my wedding and my friend referred this place to me. She said its the best one she's been to around her area. Booking appointment was pretty easy via phone - I called in a week or so before and got an appt for a Wednesday afternoon for gel French manicure and regular pedicure. It was pretty empty when I arrived, just one other girl getting her nails done and two staff members. I was seated right away and the worker got to work. The area is pretty clean with comfortable chairs. I told the worker my cuticles are sensitive and she understood. She took great care of my cuticles and nails, I didn't feel any pain. It came with a little massage, she dipped my feet in a bag with some hot red/pink liquid, and all that. For the gel manicure, I asked for an ombre but she wasn't able to do it, I settled for a regular French tip with very light pink base and white tips. It turned out beautiful! The toe nails were done similarly in regular polish. The gel and nail polish lasted for quite some time. My finger nails looked great for nearly two weeks! 1.5 mths later and there's still some gel nail polish on my nails but I never got the chance to take them out. I still have nail polish on my toes - looks fine enough to not take them out. I paid about $70 for gel manicure and regular pedicure, pretty good price for quality work and it lasted a long time. read more

This is my favorite nail salon in Nob Hill (and I've tried them all - my work requires regular manicures so I bounced around a lot at first, trying to find the best place) and I come every two weeks for a gel manicure, plus sometimes a pedicure. The salon has been renovated over the last few years and is very calming and relaxing. They have new pedicure chairs and a wide selection of colors, in both gel and regular polish. Well it was one of those days where I am roaming around the city for visit. Just one of those days I want a pedicure that moment. So I went and got my coffee then I sat down and did a brief research on nearby nail shops. . This happened to fit my budget, and reviews were decent, I'm like let's try. . What really sold me was the basic pedicure comes with a paraffin wax, liners around the tub, and they take their sweet time. . Now onto the experience, I can say that they do take their time to clip and clean the toes. The leg massage were eh but they did at least spend about good 5 mins on each leg for a basic pedi. They didnt give me a neck and shoulder . I guess because I didnt do a mani and pedi together. . They did include a paraffin wax but it was too little portion. The wax inside the bag seemed like it didnt cover my whole foot, just the ball of my foot. Hmmm... I mean a little more wax or dont offer this free included service if so little wax is offered. What's the point. . The basic pedi cost 27 which was affordable in the city. It was a decent pedi to me, usually I get the better pedi in sac which is about 40 and comes with longer leg massage, rubbed with fruits, and good fruity sugar scrub scents. Guess I will just stick to a pedi in sac in the future. . In the end I left with a little relaxation in the city. Now I can say or mark that off my bucket list which is a pedicure in the city ;).
