I went in...I fell in love. From the amazingly comfortable chairs, to the extremely attentive, nice, helpful staff...and the most important thing, a manicure that hasn't chipped four days later. I wish I lived in San Francisco so I could visit them more often. The only problem I had was finding parking, but I was determined to go to someplace thought so highly of on yelp. I needed a pampering!!! It was worth it. $10 for a manicure. In San Francisco. With fluffy pillows. FLUFFY PILLOWS! They asked me three or four times if I wanted tea or water. I happened to be in the city a few hours before an appointment and I desperately needed a pedicure and really I wasn't picky about where I went but I'm glad I picked Juicy Beauty Lounge! Lein was able to get me in super quickly due to it being a Tuesday afternoon. I love that this is not your average nail shop she only takes appointments so you are the only person in the shop during your service which was new to me but it definitely helped me relax. She was also super careful with me and she was constantly checking to make sure I was comfortable. What I found really cool was that her chairs where not typical chairs they were insanely comfy reclining chairs. Lein did an awesome job too. I finally tried Juicy on a whim on Friday afternoon and definitely enjoyed my visit. Not only was Lien friendly and carried on a great conversation with me, but she was very good with the services. It's taken me a while to find somewhere that I actually enjoy going to. This is my new place. Lien was flexible with me on my last minute scheduling and got me in for a manicure and pedicure. Once there, I changed it on her and ended up getting gels and added on a lip and underarm wax. She was super sweet and accommodating with my changes and luckily I booked enough time. The gel nails are perfectly shaped, the 3 coats definitely look good and she explained why the 3 coats are better than 2. It lasts longer and actually gives you the color of the product. My pedicure looks amazing and I had regular polish on the toes. I am really looking forward to making this my go-to place and think that you should at least give it a try for yourself and see how you like it. I went to Juicy Nails when they were at their old place on Pacific Ave, but the new place on Mason St. is wonderful, but i do miss the sweet small atmosphere of the old place. Went here with my mom and sisters to get our nails done and they were super sweet. Every time I come here I get the friendliest service and the most relaxing time. They never rush on your nails, which i love because I feel they do really take their time to perfect your nails and their prices are really great for the job that they do. I recently stopped using an acne cream and was worried it would rip my sensitive skin off (has happened at another salon). She worked with me to test it out and didn't force it on me. She ended up just tweezing my eye-brows for me because my skin was still a little sensitive and she didn't want to take a chance. I absolutely appreciated that and tipped her extra! My nails are so pretty and shiny! The massage was fine but I was a little disappointed that they don't do shoulder massages. I called ahead for a gel manicure with nail art and a pedicure, Lynn was incredibly accommodating and told me upfront the added cost for the design I wanted and walked me through the process shed use to get the design right! The salon is no-frills but inviting and all of the staff is really friendly. My appointment was an hour before closing and the design I wanted was a bit more work intensive and there was never a complaint when we were there 40 minutes after closing to make sure everything looked perfect and it did!
