Kathleen was wonderful! I had my underarms done and this was my very first time with laser. She was super easy when I had questions and was easy to talk to. Both my underarms took about 5 minutes total, I was shocked by how fast it was. Joyce was also very helpful and it was so easy to make an appointment. They don't take cards, so bring cash or have a Venmo account! For anyone reading this review for more information about how it felt, here is my opinion: I used to get sugaring done at least every 3 or 4 weeks, so I was very used to sugaring. Getting my hair follicles pulled out was definitely a very different feeling from laser removal. The device Kathleen used looked pretty much like an ultrasound device and she put a warm gel on me. During the laser, I definitely felt the heat the device is expected to give off but I love really hot showers, so the heat wasn't bad at all to me. Aside from the heat, there's a feeling that I can't entirely describe - it didn't hurt, but it wasn't like a massage either. It was kind of like little pokes, but the pokes aren't going deep at all so that's why it doesn't hurt it just feels weird. Anyways that's how I thought I could best explain it. I have had countless sessions at a different laser hair removal location in another city where they burned my skin and left patches from how high density the machine was and it left me terrified. Years later I decided to try this place out because of the reviews and videos of how this machine works. I'm a very very happy and perfectly bare client, but let me tell you more on why . I started sessions with Joyce in late 2016 and am so glad I did. Her machine is painless and the BEST out there. Before writing this reveiw, I wanted to wait to see if I have any results from my new laser treatment office. I first met Joyce in Nov of last year, I explained to her that I've had treatment overseas and would oile to continue. She explained how her laser is different and gave me a quote of $600 per treatment for full body. During my first treatment, I didnt feel anything, no pain of any kind. I asked her why and she said thst her machine is very advanced and she uses a gel thats why itdoesnt hurt. With Joyce looking kike shes in her 50's, i figured she must be experienced and wise. I trusted her. After two weeks of the treatment, not one hair fell out. I was surprised. Before my second treatment, I made it clear to Joyce that i dont think the her machine is working on me. She was very convincing and I went ahead and paid another $600 for the next treatment. Several weeks past after the second treatment and ZERO results! We tried to get a refund and she refused. We even asked for half a refund and she refused. I would not be so upset if her machine worked just a little bit on me. The only reason we paid for the second treatment was because we foolishly trusted her. I have fair skin and black hair; i think im an ideal canidate for laser. I found a new provider with a candela laser. Its been 10 days since my treatmet and most of the hair has already fallen off!!!!!! To add insult to injury the new provider was CHEAPER! My advice to anyone coming to Joyce is that if you see no results after your first treatment, STOP! read more

I love that it's pay per session rather than buying an overpriced package deal like some other laser hair removal businesses. I was a bit nervous about doing laser hair removal because I expected it to be very painful, but it's not at all! To me it feels like if you put pop rock candy on the areas that they're doing. Lol. The staff is friendly and professional and they make you feel very comfortable. The location is a bit tucked away in what looks like a pretty barren office building but once you get to their suite it is decorated beautifully and is very clean. On their website, they have a blog that answers FAQS and explains the services that they offer. I wanted to wait until after a few visits to write a review. I was super skeptical at first because what place actually truly has ALL but a few 5 star reviews? Well those people aren't lying. The laser is practically painless. It definitely hurts more to get waxed and at that point you're just wasting your money because the hair all grows back. I'm so happy I started doing laser hair removal. You only have to go every 6 weeks vs waxing which for me was every 3-4 weeks. Already saving money there. Unfortunately, unlike many of Joyce's other (alleged) clients, I do not recommend her. Not only did I find her to be unprofessional (NEVER answers her phone, was 40 minutes late for my appointment, texted me on a Sunday morning to remind me that she only takes cash/check and PREFERS cash!), but I did not see very good results from the machine she uses. I had my bikini line done and most of the hair didn't fall out. I have pale skin and dark hair, so I should be a good candidate for laser hair removal. I went for a second laser removal session elsewhere and they did a great job of profiling my current skin/medical regimen and briefing me on aftercare. Joyce didn't do these things (in fact, she seemed eager to get rid of me - probably so she could eat her lunch, which seemed to be what she was out buying while I was sitting alone in her empty waiting room for 40 minutes). I made an appointment here because Joyce is so highly recommended on Yelp, but I suspect she is better at promoting her business on social media than she is at actually practicing it. read more

Before my first session, I was a bit nervous about having laser hair removal. I was concerned about the pain, I was concerned about the effects on my skin, and I was curious about whether it would work. Joyce is awesome. She took the concern right away, answering all of my questions and telling me what to expect. I am very happy to say that I am well on my way to loosing my wookie back. The process is almost painless- it feels a bit like a very several slight static charges on the more sensitive areas of my back, while the rest of my back just has a warming sensation.
