He was helping to set up transport but as we were in the process of working through a deal someone local came into purchase the car. Steve actually called me to give me first crack at buying since I inquired first which I thought was outstanding where I think most dealer just want to make the sale and get it done and get their money where mine was a bit complicate with coordination of shipping. I said OK to go ahead and make the sale but if things fell through to consider me as a backup. There was absolutely no sales double talk, she was consistent throughout the entire buying process, and it was a same day purchase. She had everything moving rapidly, she worked very hard to earn these 5 stars, for sure. A great young lady with the most excellent personality unlike any car salesperson I've met before, and I've bought a lot of cars in the last 50 years. Her patience was above and beyond. Let me add that unlike others in this business, she knew her products. I couldn't stump her, not that I was trying, but she satisfied all of our concerns. To finalize our deal, she called on her manager Brandon. Now there's quite a gentleman. There was none of that "where would you like to be at monthly", or "what works best for you?". There was no script. He did something most managers in dealerships never do, he listened to us, and just a few minutes later, we made a deal. Shocking, I know. This dealership has a great model, a model that other dealerships could learn a lot from and most especially, treating clients with concern, and respect and giving them 100% of their attention when they are speaking with you. At the end it was time to meet the "devil", the finance manager! Well, once again, we were surprised. Kazim, like Brandon and Gabriella was friendly and got our paperwork done with no gimmicks, hidden fees, or any other games finance plays when you sit down. The process was seamless. Of course, he recommended something I would advise anyone to add to their purchase, and that's tire and wheel protection, unfortunately I declined because I hadn't used it on my last purchase, in hindsight, maybe I should have taken it. But again, there was no pressure sales from Kazim, no pushing, just good advice. I have to say that we were very happy with the price we were given, it was more than fair, but it is not the only reason that I would return to this dealership, it was just part of the entire package. DON'T GO TO ACURA OF BAY SHORE!!!!…read more Customer Service is very poor in the service departmen at Acura of Bay Shore . When I asked to speak to a manager, because of a couple of ongoing problems with my vehicle, I was taken to the manager's office. The manger stood up with hands on his hips and was rude with an instant attitude. He was a very big tall man and tried to intimidate me with his stature. . Nothing was resolved. Till this day I'm still having the same issues with my vehicle: 1LOUD NOISE IN FRONT OF CAR 2. CANNOT CONNECT DEVICE TO PLAY MUSIC 3. EVERYDAY OR EVERY OTHER DAY TIRE PRESSURE IS LOW. Acura told me my rotors needed to be replaced. (They said this after I took my vehicle there several times) for the same noise. The first time I told Acura of Bayshore about the issue, they claimed they did not hear anything. Now all of a sudden it's my rotors. I went to another dealer and an outside mechanic and both said nothing was wrong with brakes tires or rotors. Acura of Bayshore have been running me around for almost a year and they're -not even trying to fix the loud noise that's coming from my car or any other issues pertaining to my SUV. I still have my warranty and they are not honoring it. Acura of Bay Shore appears to be very shady and unprofessional, and I still need my vehicle fixed. I purchased my car there almost a year ago and they think they can tell me anything and send me on my way. I spent money on tire warranty and warranties for my vehicle. Thursday 9/21/23 my son who bought that trash called me in a panic over the multitude of issues he had. I called your place and spoke with Brian who sold it to him. Brian said in his words, "Well buddy, he has a 90 day warranty on it, so don't worry, have him get it here and we will take care of it." After explaining to Brian the issue was more than windows not functioning, he did say it was still under warranty and you would "take care of it". So, same day my son drops it off to you. I called to clarify with Brian what your shop will do. When I called, I got someone who wasn't Brian, but when I asked for Brian, I was immediately sent to a general voicemail box. I waited to call back a couple hours later....same crap. My phone number was obviously flagged so Brian wouldn't have to speak with me. My mistake was that I mentioned to Brian I lived out of state and unfortunately couldn't be there to assist my son (who you took a jab at in your response to my other son about him not being able to "express his concerns on his own") is mentally ill and has bipolar disorder. Besides that, he knows NOTHING about vehicles, nor did my ex wife who was with him. So in theory, you took advantage of that unbeknownst to Brian that my son is mentally ill. His brother came with him to defend him because your slimy sales tactics surely would've intimidated him. Saturday 9/23/23, they call and notify him "everything is fixed" and is in good working condition, come pick up when you're able to. Within an hour of him picking it up, he got stranded in a parking lot near his home (not on a beach off-roading as you falsely claimed) and I had called a tow truck place to have it towed to his house. Sunday 9/24/23, I contact my mechanic who is the grand master of Jeeps, thankfully. He said to get it to his home in Farmingville, in which we had it towed there. Monday 9/25/23, my mechanic takes a good look at it whilst up on his lift. He said in his words, "I really am sorry your son was taken advantage of like this. I have heard of other similar stories about JTL and the nightmares others have had." He takes a few pics (which I will be sharing on this review) and said to me, "The entire under carriage is swiss cheese. I will need to replace both rocker arms which both were cracked, tie rods, CV joints, all 4 shocks are blown out, brake lines are shot, wheel bearings decimated, and that was only within the first half hour of him inspecting it. There is much more John, but I really don't want to bore you with the mechanical details, only to say this first repair with parts just costed me $1806 out of pocket, and that is a major deal only because I am friends with this mechanic. This work will HOPEFULLY make this Jeep somewhat safe and roadworthy, but not 100% guarantee he said. The ball joints will be next on the list to be replaced, but it's not an easy job he said because there is quite a bit to remove to get to them. What a line of BS you said about it being "covered in mud so he must have taken it of road" Yeah ok buddy whatever other lie you have to advertise in your snake oil salesman reply to the public you gotta say. Do you know their driveway is dirt as it is shared driveway with a landscaping company who also uses it to enter the street? Nah, you wouldn't know nor would you care, but you have no problem making another false statement saying he took it off road. You honestly think if he took it say on the beach to "off road" that it would've even made it 8 feet without the entire under carriage being left behind and the axels/wheels falling off!?!? You know who and what you are John. God will judge you by this and all the other times you have screwed people over. Sorry you feel the need to rip vulnerable people off. What a great reflection of a "family business" you represent. Wish I had $$ for a good attorney, but it's going to repairs now.
