Steve came and gave me a quote and was candid about how quickly his calendar can fill up and pricing on a vinyl fence. When a date opened up his guys, who I later found out have been working with him for 20 years (which speaks volumes to me) came to take down my old picket fence and replace it with the new vinyl. Personable, efficient, neat, respectful of my and my neighbors property and plantings. The fence is beautiful. But here's what I loved about these guys. They needed to mix cement for the posts and I have a spigot that spews water everywhere. After they left, it seemed to magically fix itself. I have a gate leading to my back door that never closed flush. I always had to lift the gate with my foot while closing to get it to shut. Again, magically fixed itself. I had an old giant green plastic slide from a swing set that was sitting under a tree in my backyard that I mentioned I needed to get rid of in conversation. Again, the slide was magically cut into pieces and taken to the curb. They didn't say a word about any of this. Didn't look for a gold star. There are just some people who need to do things the right way. Those are the people I love to do business with. and these are those guys. They just wanted everything done right. They took pride in their work and they left my property better then they found it. Good luck in your search for a fencing company. If you choose these guys, you won't be disappointed.

Seems like their business model for covering up a defective product is to delay and delay repairing it until they can claim the damage is normal weathering and they are not responsible. Everyone who showed up were professionals and did their work quickly and efficiently over a four visit project spanning almost two months. After breaking up and removing the old asphalt, a base layer was put down and then had to settle for 4-6 weeks. In the meantime, we add brick pave edging and had the whole porch done in one long day. FYI, asphalt projects are dicy and depend to a great deal on the weather and tends to throw off the companies schedule. The work tended to drag a bit, but they stayed in touch and when ready, came and did the job to my complete satisfaction. I've worked with lots of companies in the area and Fifth Ave is a top notch firm.

The owner agreed to come by to look at it and was unwilling to hear any of the concerns. He offered to put more sealant on the driveway for an additional fee (over $150) after saying it looked like there was too much sealer on the driveway to begin with. How is this a resolution? They installed our driveway 6 years ago and have been the only company to touch it since. Very disappointed to say the least.
