The Crest Collision Department provided excellent customer service. Car repairs can be stressful, but Fabian, in the Collision Department, and Art, in the Parts Department, made the experience much better with their positive attitude and consistent communication. We received update calls from Fabian on the progress of the repairs, which we greatly appreciated even when they were still waiting on a part. It was a great comfort to always know what was going on with our vehicle, and for that peace of mind alone, we would absolutely recommend trusting Crest Collision for any car repair needs. We were pleased when we picked up our car to see the beautiful job that they did repairing it.

It was a small compared to our Cadillac truck (big family) so into the 2nd day Enterprise called me and said we have a truck similar to yours that would fit the family so I go pick it up. Remember, this is all under warranty so crest Cadillac isn't losing anything, It was a Jeep Grande Wagoneer, somewhat the size of our truck that had been in the shop for 2 months at crest Cadillac. Go to pick up the repaired Cadillac and it's signaling check restraining system, which meant the seat belts of course...wouldn't take us in, then they threatened not to pay for the loaner I can go on and on and on, but complete nightmare for the full 2 1/2 months and still going. ⁉⁉The issue was not simply an inconvenience--it was a catastrophic transmission failure that left my family in a frightening and potentially dangerous situation. Whether you describe it as the transmission "falling onto the highway" or not, my vehicle became inoperable, required a complete transmission replacement under warranty, and was out of service for an extended period. Regarding the rental vehicle, I worked with Enterprise while my Escalade remained in your possession. I did not intentionally disregard Cadillac's rental policies, and the rental situation arose because my vehicle was unavailable due to a major warranty repair. Most disappointing is the lack of acknowledgment of the stress, inconvenience, and loss of use my family experienced. Rather than accepting responsibility or showing empathy, your response focuses on disputing my experience. I stand by my review. I hope Cadillac owners receive not only quality repairs but also honest communication, accountability, and customer service when major warranty issues occur. UPDATE: After posting my review, Crest Cadillac responded. I want to clarify that my concern was not simply about the repair time. My concern is the overall experience surrounding a major transmission failure in my 2023 Cadillac Escalade, the extended loss of use of my vehicle, the inconvenience to my family, and how the situation was handled. While I understand parts availability can affect repair timelines, I believe customers deserve empathy, clear communication, and accountability when dealing with a serious warranty issue. Crest Cadillac - Syracuse, NY (Owner) 8 hours ago When Cadillac authorizes an Enterprise rental while a longer-duration warranty job is in process, they require a GM vehicle is rented. The Yukon we arranged is the same size as the Escalade. The Jeep you swapped for was not authorized by Crest or by Cadillac Division. The transmission did not fall onto the highway, as stated. The failure you experienced was unfortunate, but we repaired the problem as soon as the necessary parts were available. Unfortunately and outside Crest's control, it took GM far too long to provide us those parts. Also for the record, this vehicle was purchased elsewhere and not an authorized Cadillac dealership.

Welp, that was a lie. I was told by the service manager that "things were missed"and the issue was with the caliper. Now they are saying they are not replacing my brakes but I should have it done before fall. IT SHOULD NOT NEED BRAKES WITH 22k ON IT! On top of that, they said I have abnormal rust on the rocker panel and want me to pay $1200 to have it fixed. NYS Attorney General and BBB, here I come. I will be taking my car elsewhere because seems to me their mechanics have no idea what they are talking about and their warranty department is a total joke. This is my third and FINAL Subaru all because of Romanos Service Department. If you want to be a good Manager, integrity is everything so don't go back on your word. I called today 06/25 to talk to their Service Manager Rick. Left him a message but no call back, very professional. If you decide to go here, DO NOT put your trust in Ryan total liar and a fake. Ended up trading the car in and thank you Romano for inspiring me to go with Honda after having three Subarus.

That long-standing trust is exactly why we turned to them again during a stressful and unexpected situation. Earlier this year, we had the engine replaced on our 2014 Crosstrek at a dealership in North Carolina. Unfortunately, we never received the full picture regarding the true condition of the vehicle. After returning to that dealership twice with ongoing issues after the engine replacement, we ultimately decided--just before Christmas--to drive back home to CNY to get a second opinion from Romano Subaru. That decision made all the difference. Romano's team was honest and thorough in diagnosing the vehicle, and it became clear that the Crosstrek was no longer worth repairing. As a result, we ended up purchasing a 2025 Impreza, and we could not be happier with both the vehicle and the experience. We want to sincerely thank Dave Romano, Mark Richardson, Ryan Collins, and Karli Tirado for going above and beyond for our family. Dave worked hard to get us the best possible deal, especially considering this was an unexpected purchase during the holiday season. Mark was fantastic on the sales side and made the process smooth, even helping coordinate registration for Texas. Ryan was outstanding in service--he was transparent about the condition of our Crosstrek and worked directly with Subaru Corporate on our behalf. Karli worked tirelessly to ensure our registration and plates were handled efficiently and correctly. Once again, thank you to the entire Romano Subaru team for your professionalism, honesty, and dedication. You truly reaffirmed why our family continues to trust Romano Subaru year after year.
