Troy and the crew did an amazing job! Save yourself some time and book Stuart's contracting. They…read morehad a fair price, did a great job while keeping the space clean along the way. They showed up exactly when they said they would and were all kind and professional. Troy is extremely knowledgeable about several issues we had with our home and we will be using them for our next projects.

We got 4 other bids and Stuart's was, by far, the most reasonable. Troy just shrugged that off and was well you get the posts and screen (a special yet durable type of screening that allows for large sq footage without a bunch of cross sections) and here's my price. One section is 12'x10' or 120 sq feet and the finished look is like having a nearly invisible picture window (see pictures.) Troy was quick to return and replace a section when we discovered a small knife cut in one panel that had gone unnoticed and likely happened when trimming excess screen. The only con was his crew spoke broken English however they were competent, friendly and very respectful and courteous while on site and cleaned up 100% every afternoon during this 3 day job. Troy does have a foreman who drops in regularly and helped with language barrier. I highly recommend Stuart's Contracting. Troy's low key but effective work ethic made all the difference as we always felt our satisfaction was his goal.

Any concerns I had with some choices his crew made were addressed to my specifications the very next day before calling the job finished. I would be happy to hire him for most any home improvement projects. Great guy, charges a fair price, and easy to work with

My overall experience was disappointing. I hired this company to install two attic fans and repair…read morea door that was not opening properly. During a follow-up conversation, I mentioned that the door still was not functioning as expected and asked whether it was normal for an attic fan to be running at 5 a.m. when the outdoor temperature was only 73°F. My understanding is that these fans typically activate closer to 100°F, and I expected a professional company to be able to address that question clearly. Instead, I received a curt and unprofessional response stating that I was taking up too much of their time, the door was working when they left, and they were not present at 5 a.m. to hear the fan. While I did consume their time by requesting estimates for a few additional jobs (installing a dryer vent, trimming trees, and patching a foundation near an elevator shaft), I did not expect such a dismissive attitude--especially since I had planned to hire them for that work. In the end, after spending $2,300 plus the fan costs, the door is still not fixed, and I have no confirmation that the attic fans are functioning properly. I will now need to pay someone else to finish the job.
