I came here due to a check engine light problem on my car. Previous service was done at another repair shop since my car had to be towed and the other shop was closer to the place my car died @_@. Since the check engine light still allowed me to drive it, I decided to try Economy this time on my day off. I made an appointment, which is recommended and which you can do online. I dropped my car off when they opened at 8am. I had to wait a while for my husband to pick me up, so I decided to go to the donut shop next door. They don't have a waiting room (the only negative about this place), but they do have two chairs in the corner that you can use. After a few hours I got a call and found out that I had to replace the catalytic converter (ouch...) which they can order and install on Monday. When my husband and I picked up the car, they did us a favor and cut off the small lock that I used to lock the spare tire in the back. It has such rusted shut and hasn't been opened for 10 years @_@. After they cut the lock off, they even offered to fill it with air when we returned on Monday (awesome) since it was flatter than a flat tire. On Monday they worked at replacing the catalytic converter. They did run into a problem and one of the O2 sensors rusted to it and they couldn't remove it. They did try for an hour but it wasn't going to happen. So we also replaced an O2 sensor which they were able to get within the hour. They were able to finish everything by 2pm. They cost for labor was very modest, and cheaper that I've seen in a while. We also used our AAA discount which saved us a bit on the labor cost too. Overall my husband and I will be using Economy in the future!

They…read morefailed me the first time for a few minor things as well as for being lowered since im on coilovers. I corrected all items and raised the car back up to factory height (which anybody that has performed this knows how time consuming this can be). When I returned for the re-inspection they failed it again this time stating I cannot have any aftermarket suspension components on the car per COMAR which is completely incorrect. Article 11.14.2. Look it up. I took time off work for both appointments only to waste my time here. Should have been a red flag when they charged me $40 to put blocks of wood on their ramp lift because it was "too low" even though it was only 1" lower than stock. Mechanic just jumped in with no protective cover for the seat too. Complete waste dont bother with these guys, especially if your car is modified in any way. They couldnt even be up front about why it "failed" the first time with a vague answer and barely any detail. AVOID these guys, just go anywhere else

When I went to speak with him he asked me for the convenient store receipt that he gave me (as if that would've showed him anything) because it's not itemized. The staff is all very pleasant and makes you want to come back to them over and over again. If you do choose to try them out, be aware they are a little off the road.
