I had a very much better experience the second time around in the sales department. The GM called me and tried to help me out the best he could. We gave another go with Toyota and had such a 180 experience. When the budget came to play. I had Yair throughout the whole experience wish that happened in the first place but things happened. He was a great listener and really tried to keep me in my budget. We accomplished that in a different care which was pretty similar to the car I wanted. Everything was great until the fees, taxes and GAP insurances. NUTS!!! Not their fault at all. Plus summer classes costs doubled. Double Whammy! The GM (Andy Fisher) and Finance (Jim Debouis) really helped me out and was able to make buying this car possible. I greatly appreciate them for working with me. If the people at Toyota didn't know me before, they now know me from from coming in and for the last 3-4 days ha ha. Unfortunately, bad situations happened, we just need to learn from them. I am not going to let one bad experience ruin my relationship with Performance Toyota because the rest of the staff is great and energetic. One thing I always had a problem with at other dealers was since I'm 22 they didn't take me as a serious buyer... I would walk around a lot for a good 10 minutes and not one person would help or ask, but here at Performance Toyota. Best car buying experience ever! Parker was my salesman. He admitted to being somewhat new, but it didn't impact the process. One of my pet peeves with buying cars is the condescension I've encountered as a female buyer. I like to do the research and test drives, get information, then discuss with my husband. I'm not looking for his permission, mind you, but as a couple/partner I prefer we make financial decisions together. Parker never once suggested that I bring my husband into the dealership to complete the purchase. I narrowed my options, settled on an XLE Camry but they did not have the color I wanted. Parker located a model with all of the features and color I wanted. The car was delivered the next day. I would recommend Performance and Parker! read more

Professional atmosphere, courteous service people. I was early, but they took me anyway. Waiting room is really nice, and has free coffee and tea. One of the waiting rooms is a "quiet" room, which means that talking on cell phones in not allowed. The amount of time I spent at Toyota was appropriate for the work I was having done. Just purchased a 2008 CTS Cadillac from Performance Toyota in Fairfield last Saturday. The salesman Bill Langdon was new at his job but was very helpful and did a good job at working with me and everyone involved to get me the best price. Only problem I saw was the time it took to get all the paperwork completed from the time I agreed. That's the reason for only 4 stars. Total time from walking in the door to driving off in my new car and giving them mine for a trade in was 5 hours. Maybe that's reasonable but just seemed like it could have been done a little quicker. All in all very happy so far plus I get free car washes as long as I own the car. That's pretty cool. read more

I bought my first car in 2017, it was a smooth process everyone was great and very helpful and we came back in 2019 to get a pickup truck for the business, it was a horrible experience. Everything was in bad shape with these guys, sales, management and especially finance. They did a horrible job communicating, calling back, answering phone calls. A lot of false information was given from the finance guy. It took them 4 days to get one document, just to answer me back after leaving 3 voicemails and a message with a secretary. I called another department so they can get back to me. I would not recommend this dealer to any friends, family or anyone. They really need to work on their management. They tell you you can't do things a certain way when you clearly can they just want to do the easy way out. This will be my last car from this dealer. My next car for sure won't be from this dealer. All of the Performance staff were extremely nice. Usually change my own oil on my 2011 Toyota Sienna but had a coupon to get the service which included the checking and toping off of all fluids for almost as cheap as I could do it. My main concern is how good of a job can they do in 16 mins?? My coupon stated only 5 quarts of oil was to be used, however my Sienna takes 6. Called the service dept to verify if they used 6 quarts and they told me that it would be a good idea for me to double check it. Was also told that it was too cold for the car wash to run, but all the camry's were getting washed. Bottom line if you want your car serviced in 15mins this is a great place, if you want to do a thorough job and know that everything was done correctly do it yourself. read more

I would give a zero star to these guys if that option was available. The customer service at the service center is so bad. If you want to talk to a service advisor, forget it. The receptionist will connect you, but 8 out of 10 times, nobody will pick up the call. Come on, it's customer service 101. Have enough to staff to answer the call. I just called with a simple question about my car. They asked me to change a part. I googled and found the answer myself. I don't understand if the guys are really well trained and have the proper experience. I have heard the same experience from many of my friends and coworkers. Left name, phone no for tech who was handling this issue. to call back. Never happened. Called this am 4/4/16 Service mang. out till 4/5 Person taking emergency call -----leave message!!!!! Then called service dept--. automated voice stated everyone busy and hung up. I bought a car there once before yrs ago and was satisfied-- that's why I went back. Now after a trying time buying a second car may 2015---( a disastrous and very disappointed experience experience.) I am fighting a downhill battle to get service. I would never go back there again or recommend performance to anyone the only thing they want to do is make money any way they can customer serivce is not in the picture. If I could give 0 stars I would. I'm super upset with this company and the customer service. I went to Performance Toyota a few days after I got married to buy a car. I was able to find a car I love with a great price. However this place is all about the sale. It was the most impersonal buying experience I've ever had. I felt like just another transaction. Regardless I liked the car and still decided to buy it. Unfortunately it's been one big mess from there. First I received my title 2 days before my tags are to expire which is annoying. They seriously give you no time. Secondly since my name changed it will be a longer process to switch the title than the 2 days I have before the tag are to expire. I've talked to 20 different people, left so many messages about what I need to do to get the title to my name (performance Toyota, the loan office, title office). When I talked to my sales guy who talked to the manager at performance about getting an extension on my temporary tags. I was told they couldn't give me another 30 day tag. That they sent the title within the time period and that it's not their fault it's going to take longer. I was also told that I should just take my chances on driving with an expired tag. So basically I got screwed because I decided to buy a car a few days after I got married. So on Saturday I will be driving around with expired tags until I can get all the documents together from my loan company to allow me to transfer my title to the married name. Thanks Performance Toyota for the help and wonderful advise. So if I get a ticket can I send it to you to pay? read more

Our salesman Neil was awesome; kind, professional, and treated us so well. Jermaine, the Sales manager also was awesome! Both of these gentlemen surpassed our typical experience at other car lots and I would highly recommend doing business with either of them! The only thing keeping my rating from 5 stars is the service I received AFTER buying our car. We bought a used car which needed 2 minor repairs; a glove box latch and a new handle on the drivers side seat. The car was otherwise gorgeous and the repairs were written down and agreed upon at the sale. I called and e-mailed about the date these said repairs would be taken care of 2 weeks later after not hearing anything. No response. The 3rd time attempting contact, the service department requested I drive my car there to ensure the correct parts were ordered, and then drive the car back when the parts came in. This would be 4 trips total, a 45 minute commute each of the 4 trips. Mind you the parts needed should have been clarified before I ever drove off the lot. I had to leave voice mails, play phone tag, and personally request a loner car instead of this being taken care of for me. I was quite taken back that this kind of extreme inconvenience would be considered acceptable customer service. I was taken back that a "professional" would ask a customer for such an repeated inconvenience, 4-45 minute trips with no compensation. So, overall, Neil and Jermaine were awesome, 5 stars all the way. The customer service I received after would possibly get 2 stars, very poor and lacking. read more

First of all, after i bought the car SATURN AURA i had issues with the rotors and brakes brake pads. Scheduled an appt took it in they said nothing was wrong with the car everything was brand new. Took it back one week later because i had no rotors brake pads left! They told me thats normal wear and treat. But if last week they were brand new...really??? Ok so this past experience, I scheduled a diagnostic test my heater only works when my foot is on the gas and i keep having to put anti freeze in the car every other week.... took it in. (My husband has no tongue so a lil hard for him to talk) by profession he is a lawyer. Not only did Josh insult my husbands inteligence but treated him with NO RESPECT! Wtf we have the warranty and extended warranty i was told everything under the hood is covered.. even if it weren't he had no right being so rude! Had i been there it would have been a diffferent story! So they wouldn't even look at my car unless we paid the diagnostic fee!! Thats complete BS! We have had nothing but problems with PErformance AND JOSH bc he is the one i always deal with.... not to mention there is a dent in my car from the last time they looked at my car. And told me they weren't responsible for fixing it. (Yes he did the walk around and there were not any issues with the car. ........ i highly suggest using a different toyota service center! Purchased a used Honda. When purchased they issued a due bill to repair the tire pressure monitoring system. The first two times, separate occasions, they claimed to have fixed the problem, when in fact they had not. Also, they somehow managed to put a dent on the nose of the car. Also, I ordered a new OEM wiper blade for the rear window. Well they put a generic blade on the car. I was infuriated by these events. Not only did they not fix the original problem, they caused several more. On the third trip, third week in a row, they had fixed all the problems. The TPMS was fixed, dent repaired and correct wiper blade installed. The original service was unsatisfactory but all items were fixed, gave me a loaner at no charge, installed the correct wiper at no charge and did a great job on the body repair. Overall I am very satisfied at the end result. Even though the trip to get to that end result was a bit trying. I would buy and have the vehicle serviced by them again. read more

Had been to two other (non-toyota) dealerships during the day. So we didn't get there until 30 minutes before closing. After the test drive, while walking into their building, an employee locked the door right in front of me. I had to walk around and enter their building through the garage. (Hindsight makes me realise they weren't all that interested in my money.) During negotiations, if you can call it that, they ask some questions about the other cars we had seen and their prices. We agreed to pay full list price but not their $250.00 document fees. After seeking final approval from the manager, they came back with a list of cars, in the area, to disprove what I had stated. When my husband interrupted and asked "do we have a deal?", the deal then became contingent upon financing through them. As they were well aware, we had a bank check with us, well in excess of the final price. That was all of the rudeness, condescension, and disrespect we could take. We left and will NEVER return. read more

Bought a new Prius from Performance Toyota in August of 2012. My wife and I discovered that she was pregnant in February of 2013 and learned (to our dismay) that an infant carseat will not fit easily into the Prius. Went back to Performance to see about trading up to the larger Prius V. Sales person Theresa treated us fairly but when we wanted to take the night to think the deal over they brought in "Bobby" who tried very hard to cheat us with the old "what payment do you want to be in" scheme (adding extra years onto the loan to lower the payment) and by offering us $3000 less than Blue Book for our 7 month old Prius trade in that we bought from them. He was extremely pushy and insulting - treating us like idiots because we wouldn't buy into his bad deal. We walked into Performance as loyal customers and walked out vowing to never return. After 15 minutes walking the lot, & another 10 in the showroom, with not so much as a hi from any employee we had the receptionist page a salesman. We test drove a 2013 Rav4 with 65 miles on it. The vehicle was pulling to the left so badly that when I let go of the steering wheel it darted right into the next lane of traffic. After returning to the dealership I informed the salesman of the alignment issue to which he says "this is why I like to test drive with customers to show them how to drive our vehicles", he insisted on taking us on a drive because " we're not driving it right". After nearly hitting 2 cars he stated ' it might be a little out of alignment". After returning to the dealership the salesman calls up a service writer that proceeds to tell me "it's not uncommon for vehicles to go out of alignment sitting on the lot". I said thank you for your time & left, I cannot say anything good about my experience. read more

I have been to this location 4 times with my family's car. They lied to me over and over again. A while ago I took a camry in because the trunk wouldn't open. They broke a part while trying to fix me and expected me to pay for it. Then another car: First they said I need to replace a light bulb while i was getting an oil change and routine maintenance. Luckily, I said no. When the car came back i showed them the light and that it was working. Then they put in the wrong oil. Then i realized that they didn't do everything i asked for. I almost got ripped off near $100. Then I have to go back for another issue for which they tried to overcharge me. They have grown too big. Customer service sucks. Too many mistakes. My family and my brother's family own a total of 9 toyota cars. Save yourself the trouble. We avoid this dealership and go to king's toyota. Its inconvenient because its far away but worth avoiding the hassle. read more
