They have private parking and are easily seen from the street. They are a stand alone building in front of a strip mall. They are unusually busy throughout the week. Be patient! The servers were nice and got us seated immediately but it took a while to take our order and bring us our food. Some of my food was cold and required some heating up. I ordered the Triple Egg Dare Ya. I got 3 eggs, bacon, sausage, hashbrowns, pancakes and french toast. I always look for the dish were I can try the most items. This did not disappoint. Staying in a hotel, sometimes you need some comfort food for breakfast. Had the Country Sausage Biscuit Breakfast. Biscuits were flaky and the scrambled eggs were soft and fluffy. From the service to the food and the price point, everything was good. For my order, I got the salmon meal. It came with loaded potatoes, asparagus, and a dinner roll. I don't really order salmon much because it's often cooked to long and dry, but this was super juicy and flavorful...and it was a nice size. The asparagus were good as well. They seemed to be charcoaled, but I appreciated the seasoning. I will say that I tried the dressing and was not impressed. It was made more like stuffing (THERE IS A DIFFERENCE!) and it was dry and the season was to rich. Other than that, I must say our server took care of us well! And, by the way, "Anybody want dessert?" is not upselling. Ambiance: clean, friendly, neat. Food...well less than admirable. The fish and chips were more "fish and tiny sprinkle of chips." Fish: either old and reheated or overdone. Fries: not warm enough...My partner's salad was a little light on serving size. The restaurant was "out" of the first two dressings asked for. This review is for the Perkins in Germantown as well as Park because I have visited one or the other on three occasions! It's sad to say that a Perkins restaurant stop serving the big and fluffy pancakes that use to be the best pancakes in the city! The pancakes that they are now serving are too thin, over cooked and not fluffy like they used to be! You have to use a half bottle of syrup just to get them soft! Since their pancakes were the signature stable of their breakfast it's beyond reason why they would change anything about the pancakes! Anybody can cook bacon and eggs but no restaurant could compete with Perkins pancakes! I thought it was at one restaurant but it was the same at the other one too! I thought the cooks had a bad day so I went back to Park and it was the same sad story! I thought it was maybe just me but the people I came there with me said the same thing without me making any comments! Just got back from the Perkins in Memphis at the Eastgate Shopping Center at Park & White Station. Will NEVER go back. Our server, Kevin B., reeked of skunk weed and when I mentioned it to the cashier, an older lady named Donna, defended it saying, "...it's just the new cologne like alcohol." Even the cashier next to her agreed that it smells terrible and makes the food smell bad; which it does. Not quite as bad as body odor but close. So, thanks to Donna, for whom customers come second, they have just lost a family of fairly regular customers for good. Luckily there is a Panera about 5 minutes away where we will go from now on. read more

Waitress took our table order, all 3 of us, didn't write it down then took the table of 2's order next to us again not writing any of it down. Sad I couldn't give this -0 stars. The meal was not the best and the wait after being seated to take our order was longer than needed. When our waitress did come to take our order, she started taking another tables drink order then came to our table only to stop taking our order mid sentence and returned to the previous table to take another order. After taking our drinks we were ready to order our food but she had walked off. Then returned to ask again what our drink order was (they don't write anything down) only to return to our table with wrong drink. The meal was the same except the wait time on the meal was extremely disappointing. 2 other tables got their food before we did albeit half orders here and there. My dads order of pork chops came out but hubby and I was still waiting for our food as we watched my dad eat his meal. 2 more tables were seated and their orders taken before our meal came out. Then only my husbands meal was ready. So I sat and watched my dad complete 50% of his meal, hubby had 25% of his ate when my food arrived. But- only my sandwich as the soup wasn't ready yet! Finally my soup came out which was too hot to eat so I got it to go. My French dip on a hoagie bun ended up being a dry, over cooked, flat roast beef piece folded with onions and a slab of melted cheese on a hot dog bun that was hard and soggy. The waitress told hubby that his meal was put in wrong (explaining why his took so long) so she would have to eat it and she thanked him for the lunch! I've never seen anything like it! Usually the service and food is excellent but today was definitely an off day. Will be a good while before we tread there again. I went there ready to eat and I left as if I hadn't ate a thing. Water in the plate..... So this is a typical southern "meat and two" style restaurant, akin to Shoney's, et al. While some the meats were OK-ish, the $11.50 I paid for two tiny fish fillets floating in water will have me thinking twice about whether I return. The baked fish was more or less palatable. It wasnt bad enough to make you stop eating, not good enough for you to enjoy. The vegetables...as with many chain versions of the "Meat and two", were vaguely seasoned. Boiled and salt and peppered as an after thought. As they are open 24 hours, I probably wouldnt end up there again unless it was after midnight. read more

We ate here yesterday and I tried the pot roast.When it was served the meat was cut into chunks and several of the pieces were very dry.The carrot/pea mix wasn't even mixed in with the sauce.I also had broccoli which usually comes in a few pieces steamed but instead I received chopped up broccoli like someone microwaved a bag of frozen broccoli. We had breakfast here as a family of five. The wait was 20 minutes. And we had to wait next five minutes because a very rude server refused to except our party in his area. Instead we were assigned Donnette who we all agree is very nice and cheerful, even though we were seated outside of her area. Donnette had to continue dividing her attention between her area and out table, very commendable, she was trying hard to deal with an uncooperative coworker. That stress caused her to mix up our orders and give my plate to someone else. At the same time she split Jenny's order and put the pancakes on a separate plate with sprinkles for the kid. So we didn't have to order a kids meal. Excellent service. The eggs were good but my steak was just a little dry so Donnette brought me some A1 steak sauce. I have to write and compliment Perkins on a job well done today. Not only was the food GREAT, hot and fresh, but the service was phenomenal as well. The breakfast potatoes were cooked to perfection (crispy outside and soft inside). The eggs were just as I like them (country scrambled) and the pancakes were scrumptious with the strawberries and cream on top. My server Marcus was awesome. He listened attentively and went above and beyond. The service was great upon entering the restaurant. It was like everyone came to work to serve with a great attitude. You don't find that much these days. I witnessed the greeters cleaning menus and busboy (Carlos) being "johnny on the spot" turning over tables. It was an exceptional dining experience and I was happy to see so many young black men working and doing an excellent job. Well done to the entire staff. They have a large menu and probably serve the same or similar dishes at all of their locations, but the recipes are good and the quality is consistent. I had the oven-roasted turkey and gravy which was served with sage dressing, and I ordered the green beans and broccoli for sides. The turkey was very good. The dressing was also good.
