Omelette was fairly tasty. Hash browns were just okay.

Eh. I don't expect much from a place like Perkins. The food here is generally "meh". Late night, tipsy or drunk, that's the only time I'm going to check out a Perkins. BUUUUUUT I will say I do like their waffles and omelets. There are serviceable if it's late and you're hungry. Otherwise, I think I prefer IHOP or Waffle House better. Service at this location was just okay as well. Not bad, but just okay.

This place is disgusting. The moment you walk in, you will be greeted with an odor that will turn your stomach. Trust your instincts and turn around and leave. The entire restaurant is dirty. Our table had a puddle of liquid on it from the last guest and the wall we were sitting by was an exposed board. The carpets were filled with grease and just sitting there will make you want to leave and take a shower. The service is also not good. Our waitress was having a profanity laced conversation with the table behind ours (while she was standing at our table). I don't care about profanity, however not good for kids. She also did not offer refills. The health department should really look into this pit!

Buy 3 muffins get 3 free! I'll be eating this for lunch, dinner and breakfast.

The pies all had soggy bottoms. They were overtly sweet and soggy. Wouldn't visit again. Only had the pies. Can't comment on the food.

Slow as dirt service. Unfriendly waitress who acted as though we were an inconvenience. They also allowed folks in without masks on.

She recommended the Cuban Pulled Pork Sandwich. My sandwich was huge and contained a large portion of pulled pork meat. It was delicious and the homemade chipotle bbq mayo made it all the more satisfying with its rich smoky flavor! The Cuban-style black beans were right out of Miami! Very nicely prepared and included green peas, carrots, corn, and bell peppers, as well. My dining companion, for her part, ordered the Falafel platter, with a side order of gyro meat. The falafel (a dozen), were fresh, tasty, and just the right consistency. These were served with lettuce, onions, tomatoes, pita, and hummus. The side order of gyro meat featured a generous portion of decadently succulent lamb shavings and included two portions of homemade tzatziki sauce. Everything we ate was prepared to perfection and could easily compete with exceptional restaurants in Chicago! Yes, the food at One World is that good. As for the service, our waitress Quincy was friendly and professional. As for the ambiance and decor--we arrived ahead of the lunch crowd, so it was pretty quiet. The decor, however, is nicely done. The premises were clean and well maintained. Ditto the restrooms. The restaurant is actually huge. There are multiple dining areas and in the summer there is an outside patio behind the restaurant, as well. As for pricing and affordability--quality costs, and the food here is definitely a cut above. That being said, the owners have priced the entrees quite reasonably considering the generous portion-size and quality of the food. My overall opinion? If you want a dining experience worthy of comparison to the best Chicagoland has to offer, but don't want to make the long drive--or pay twice as much--then I highly recommend this little gem of a locally-owned restaurant in Peoria!

I got the thai chicken pizza and it was SO good. The hot honey was a little sweeter than I expected, however the jalepeno balanced it well. The hummus also was hands down one of the best I have ever had. Still thinking about it. The only reason I didn't give this place 5 stars was the service. Everything was fine until it came to pay. I don't know if our server disappeared or something but we waited 30-45 minutes to get our check which was semi-frustrating. Anyways, 10/10 food. Very unique. Very different. I recommend!!!

Bucky even brought out two glasses of Sauternes to help celebrate the occasion and made my GF's heart melt. every staff that touched the table was so nice and personable. thanks again for the amazing night!! couldn't of been better!!!

Quickly, our server came by & got us started on some drinks. I had the oat milk draft latte (which I've ordered to go multiple times) & it remains my favorite drink in Peoria! We got the maple breakfast sandwich with bacon added & it was the perfect amount of crispy & flavorful. We got two bakery items to share which were also yummy! The best thing we got was the potatoes with the harissa sauce - OBSESSED. They were beautiful & the dill was a great touch. Loved our meal & service! Will be back of course!! I had the grilled chicken sandwich with fresh fruit. . The chicken came as ordered, plain, with a side of honey mustard. The fruit was also very fresh! Everything was very tasty! My friends ordered the tenderloin and unfortunately I can't remember my other friend's order. They did say the enjoyed the food and too home the extras to finish. I thought my server was wonderful. I am currently on a low salt diet and she did her best to accommodate my needs. After she found out the tenderloin only came breaded she checked to make sure that would be okay, which it wasn't, but helped me order something else. She also didn't charge me extra for the fruit since I was unable to have a side. The cafe was very busy, but not too noisy, except for maybe one person who was seated across from us. I cannot wait to return, I had an exceptional meal.

This place 520 has become our family breakfast on Saturday mornings when we visit. The place is always busy. Sometimes we gotta wait on a table but they usually move pretty quick. On thus trip I talked to the owner as I was paying and told him how good everything was and how far we drove and had to drive home. Oscar is his name and is a great guy. As I was paying he fiddled with the register and as he gave me my change he slipped me a gift card. I was kinda taken back a little and we talked a little more then I went back to the table to finish our coffee to get ready to leave. I got to say the staff here is spot on. Never did we want for anything. The food was great and coffee was delicious. So we pack up the kids and go out to the cars to transfer bags and luggage when I turn around and here comes Oscar the owner. Evidently I dropped the card he had given me. He came right out and we talked a little more to the point I feel we made new friends with each other. I totally recommend eating here. You won't be disappointed. Bring your kids and family and enjoy a great home style breakfast. It's great!

Ryan was my waitress, and she was hands down one of the best servers I've ever had. Her customer service was truly top tier. She came by right away, introduced herself, and brought me both coffee and water. Instead of spending time looking over the menu, I told her exactly what I was in the mood for, and she went above and beyond by creating the perfect combo for me. I ordered eggs, sausage, hash browns, and blueberry pancakes. Ryan told me all about their homemade blueberry syrup, that it was made fresh from scratch daily and wow, she wasn't kidding, it was great! The food was fresh, delicious, and full of flavor. There were fresh blueberries not only in the pancakes but also in the syrup, which made the meal even better. The restaurant itself was also really nice, very open and spacious, with plenty of seating. Even if all the tables were filled, there was still more than enough room to walk around comfortably. I also loved the festive touch of the Christmas tree right inside the restaurant; it made the space feel warm and welcoming. While it was a little on the pricey side for one person, the quality of the food and the overall experience was great. What impressed me the most, though, was how kind, genuine, and attentive Ryan was throughout my visit. She truly made the experience memorable and as far as I'm concerned she's the best waitress you have! I was happy to let her know that she was going above and beyond, y'all better hold on to her! There's even an option to pay at the table if you're in a hurry which is a cool feature! I will definitely be back!
