Nice, modern coffee shop. White walls, ironic international decoration, plenty of seating, a few unique options as well as the typical coffee shop fare. But why is it so hit inside?? Me and my friends were dying in there. I thought maybe it was the bright lights melting my makeup off, but then I thought, "Just turn up the a/c!" I don't know if it was just this day that it was sweltering in there, but it was enough not to make me want to return. Sheesh! Oh, the baristas were great. Stopped here while on the road for a quick to-go breakfast and instead ended up waiting over an hour for over priced mediocre breakfast sandwiches and cold food. Ordered a $6 fresh squeezed orange juice and when they gave me a clearly store bought OJ 30 mins after ordering it I asked for a refund. This review is only for food. Based on my experience the toast is not really toast. Toast is bread you put in a toaster and it gets crunchy. This is not the case. Avocado toast is suppose to come mashed up with salt and pepper and olive oil combined. The avocado toast here is sliced avocado laid atop bread that has not been toasted. The banana and peanut butter toast, again the bread is not toasted. I'm afraid to order any other food if you can't get toast right. ??????? read more

FAVORITE lunch spot in the Atlanta / Marietta area. I've basically become a regular at this lunch spot because of its food and service. It's well priced, decently healthy (much better options than the fast food / chain restaurants nearby) and the owner is so friendly! He's always bringing by free samples, add-ons, or simply free items to my meal. It's fun to be able to test out the new drink concoctions or treats they might start carrying as well. Great cafe to sit down and get some focus! I was happy to find that the whole wall of outlets under the bench seating along the side wall. Inside is light and airy, and they have several cold drinks in the fridge, plus a wide selection of coffee beverages, I believe all made with Rev coffee beans. Really needed some coffee and decided stop by. When you first walk in it seems like a nice little coffee shop what it is don't get me wrong, but there was nothing special about it. It's just like another Starbucks except the variety is so much better! I love the fresh orange juice, the store variety of sodas and water. I was hoping for a better variety of desserts or sweets but they were not too appealing. The decor is nice and everything is clean the staff seemed nice as well. I seriously wanted to give 3 or even less stars. First off... the coffee, exquisite. The service, exceptional. My only gripe is the lack of training with the rewards system they have in place. 1 purchase is 1 Star. Get 10 stars and you get a free coffee. I came in to redeem my free coffee and the female at the cash register did not know how to redeem my points so I had to pay. Today I purchased a coffee using cash (usually use credit cards or Apple Pay and they both link to my rewards account). I asked to apply that star to my account and they could not. First I was told i should have provided my phone number first. Then I was told there was nothing I could do. I just wanted one damn point and no luck. If I should have provided my phone number first shouldn't that be their job to ask for phone number for rewards? I should have to remember that if I am paying cash or using a credit card not linked to my account then I must remind them to input my phone number first? Frustrated. Again, they deserve 5 stars but right now I'm sooooo tempted to give them 1. read more

Not a bad spot for a cup of coffee. I'd pass on the pastries and bagels. The sample of the log cake I had was sickly sweet. They're grocery store fare at best. There are other snacks like yogurt, fruit cups, etc that seem fine. The coffee is Rev Coffee and they don't do anything to abuse it. The taste is good, crema, acceptable, etc. You will get a better cup at the actual Rev down the road. Overall it's worth stopping by. read more

I went out of my way to download Yelp to try to get the owners of this establishment's attention. I was yelled at by one of your employees after he completely messed up my entire order. I came in kindly to let them know I wanted a refund because my avocado toast was ROTTEN and my coffee was hot and wasn't made with soymilk. I am incredibly allergic to dairy and this could have cost me a trip to the hospital had I not noticed. The older man proceeded to yell at me and embarrass me in front of everyone in the store, suggesting that I somehow messed up my own order. He began slamming around the POS system showing me that I had just ordered a hot latte when RIGHT THERE were the instructions that it was iced and with soymilk. He then defended his choice in rotten avocado by saying he just opened a fresh one, leading me to believe he has no knowledge that an unopened avocado can, in fact, be rotten. He REFUSED to give me a refund and embarrassed me yet again saying he would have to take it out of his tip jar because you "don't provide refunds" which is a lie. I have been calling for days and the phone just rings off the hook. I can't get in contact with a manager. This man should not be working there any longer if he is going to scream at customers when he messes up an order. Great coffee shop with really good coffee. One of the few places in Atlanta that serves my favorite, Cortado and Colada (espresso brewed with sugar, or espresso brewed with sugar and milk - very popular in Miami as it is a Cuban drink). Their iced coffee also has coffee iced cubes so it doesn't get watered down. They also have a great summer drink, Coffee Glace which is coffee with a scoop of ice cream - YUM! Oh boy, this place is...interesting. The coffee is fine (it's Caribou), but the food is randomly thrown together pieces of old, stale, and/or brown produce and bread, and called a sandwich. I've also witnessed an employee unloading plastic containers of pastries from the floor of his car's filthy backseat, and bring them into the shop, presumably to sell to customers. Stick with the coffee and you'll be fine. read more

A fairly new coffee spot in town! Conveniently located near the new Braves Stadium. So if you live in the new apartment buildings on Circle 75 pkwy, this location is great! It is a pretty decent size and clean shop. There is one big table that seats 8 and all the other tablets seat 2-4. The seating along the wall has outlets and there is free WiFi !!! There are pretty good drink options, and what I like most is it tells you what goes in the drink. (Tired of coffee shops with crazy names for their drinks and you have no idea what is in it). I got the Bonbon which is one part espresso and one part sweetened condensed milk. I was hoping it tasted like a Vietnamese coffee, but it did not. Still good though! (Obviously, I am no Coffee Snob so I did not know what to expect as far as taste) Since the drinks tasted pretty standard/good to me I rather rate this place based on the environment. I was tempted to rate this place with 3 stars, but I just believe that it is new and has not found its bearings yet. I came here during a weekday mid-afternoon to work remote as I was tired of my living room and the office. It was extremely empty, and maybe 1-2 people came in every 30 minutes. I have gone to Starbucks at the same time and wasn't even able to find seating. I do not find it as a huge problem, as I do believe that this place will become more popular. This is a very nice coffee shop in my neighborhood. On my second visit I met the owner who was very gracious and extremely personable. The space is large but quaint enough to be comfortable. The music is very soothing (60s and 70s) with the volume just right for conversation or study. If you live nearby or in the area, please support our local small business owners. I like this place. As a 9-5er that spends his lunch hour working on his side gig, this is a great spot to grab a cup of coffee, log on, and bust out some email. The coffee is quality and fresh, and the staff is always very friendly and accommodating. It's a good size with nine tables along the wall all with outlet access and three additional two seat tables and a larger 8 seat table for those smaller groups. They've only been open a short time, but are working through the kinks very methodically and efficiently. I find myself here 3-4 times a week and have watched their progress first hand. So far the wifi has been reliable and fast, which is one of the most important things in a coffee shop these days and something their local competitors seem to have issues with maintaining. You can tell the employees and owner care about this place and want to make it succeed. read more

Wanted a bagel for breakfast and did a search and this place came up as Perks Coffee and Bagels. Their website even talks extensively about bagels....unfortunately there were only 3-4 bagels to choose from and only individually packaged plain cream cheese. They have tons of sandwiches to choose from. I got a egg and cheese croissant. It was good but honestly tasted like the kind of sandwich you get at the airport. Nothing special. I also decided later to get a drink and stood at the counter for 5 minutes before the young girl working looked up from her cell phone to help me. Nice coffee shop with a great selection of coffee and espresso drinks. It has all the standards like lattes, americano, cappuccinos and also cold brew options, and they have options that accommodate for vegan and keto restrictions too. The staff there was friendly and informative about ingredients and options. This was the first time I ordered a mocha beverage and the barista asked if wanted white, milk or dark chocolate. It's the little things that matter for me especially when I'm spending $4-$5 on a drink so I was impressed by the variety! They also had a great pastry display and cold prepared foods selection. 5 stars doesn't justify the quality of this establishment! I accidentally stumbled upon this place while charging at the Tesla charging station. The breakfast croissant sandwich was absolutely delicious! I had no idea this was the only place in Marietta that uses fresh cracked eggs when the order is placed vs pre made sandwiches that are usually microwaved to heat up. I ordered a caramel high rise as a drink, it was too sweet for me but the barista went ahead and made me something else instead so I could enjoy my drink! I definitely recommend ordering an iced cortado with oat milk and maple! INCREDIBLE! Not only are the food and drinks amazing, so is the staff! April is so sweet and bubbly! I usually go to Starbucks but the line was so long and I was in a hurry to charge my car. I found this cozy coffee shop and was pleasantly surprised! I was greeted with a friendly face with great suggestions for what to order! I haven't seen a cortado on any cafe menu in the area and it's been my favorite since frequenting Miami. I got that and an egg and cheese Croissant! I was so impressed at how quick I received my order and everything was just perfect! The owner was in and came by to check on the order and brought me a bottle of water on the house. Wow, I definitely had an experience today. I've been coming to this coffee shop since they opened in November. I've seen the questionable food items (waffle stackers, warm lunch sandwiches, melted chocolate doughnuts) come and go. The bagels are the most consistent because they come from the grocery store. But at $2.99 a bagel, I can just go to the store and purchase a bag of 6 for the same price. The coffee is great, I am huge fan of Rev Coffee. They do the roasting for this place. I frequent this shop during the morning time when I'm on my break from work. The employees are always personable and willing to make my drink how I like it (drip coffee with warm soy milk). I'd like to give this place more stars for the pleasant conversations I have with the morning staff and for the coffee, but today I feel totally appalled by this place. I came in and ordered my usually cup of drip coffee and sat in the corner booth to enjoy it, then an older gentleman came in and started yelling at one of the employees. It came out of nowhere. I tried to mind my own business, but the place is fairly quiet even with music playing and the man was yelling so I couldn't help but overhear. The older man was apparently the owner because he kept saying that to the employee he was upset at. The girl he was yelling at wasn't yelling back- she quietly responded back to him and he continued with his rage. I believe it was over the size of a drink. The employee had made a cappuccino in the wrong size cup according to the owner. The customer who had ordered the drink was satisfied with the size and even explained to the owner that traditional cappuccinos come in a small cup, that was normal. I thought it was normal as well and so did the employee who made the drink. The employee apologized, but the owner wouldn't give it up. Having been somebody that has worked in the service industry before, I am familiar and not okay with people treating other people like they aren't humans. I came in to enjoy my cup of coffee and have a little peace and quiet, but instead had to witness the owner berating this young girl. I felt so bad having to sit there and watch it. I will not be returning- Dunkin' Doughnuts and Starbucks are a little further and not Rev Coffee, but I can't support this place, and would rather travel farther for my cup of joe. I feel for that girl, she was so nice when I ordered my drink. I couldn't believe the nerve of that man. What a poor business owner. I won't be returning.
