I found hair in my sandwich, and when I brought it to the employee's attention, there was no apology. Instead, the first thing she did was point to a sign and say, "We don't give refunds." Customer service isn't great. They saw me trying to use the restroom and I didn't realize you need a key. They could have told me. Also the vietnamese coffee is just awful, don't get it. After letting Vicky know that I was a Milk Tea virgin, she happily explained the process of making, the sweetness levels and shared her recommendations. She also provided me with samples of the Classic Milk Tea and the Thai Tea. Both were quite tasty! However, since it was my first go at it, I opted for the Classic Milk Tea with the addition of cocoa powder. This turned out to be a solid choice! Nom Station isn't only about Milk Tea, as they offer a variety of other drinks and even foods. While I was just there for the drink, the Croffle caught my eye and interest...so, naturally I had to scoop one up. What is a Croffle you ask? A croissant based waffle, and yes...it was delish! We visited Nom Station 6 weeks ago for some boba milk tea. Nom Station is located in a strip mall with many other small businesses. Parking was easy to find at about 4:30 pm on a weekday. I think it's great that there are more tea places opening up away from the Buford Highway corridor, which may have the most tea houses per mile in the Atlanta metro area. Honestly, I thought our experience at Nom Station was average, at best, and certainly could've been much better. There were two employees, but appeared that only one of them was working. The employee who was helping us seemed like she was trying to rush us, and assumed that we wanted full ice (which we didn't) and full sugar (which I didn't) in our classic milk teas. It was if we didn't have the option, although we did tell her before she made the drinks what we really wanted, and then she seemed annoyed with us. Stopped by Nom Station as I was on the way to Kennesaw the other day. I'm glad I did! It's the perfect snack if you're looking for a quick stop and a small bite. We got the taro milk tea and the Thai tea. We also ordered two croffles- the Oreo one and fruity pebbles one. They're essentially small waffles with toppings on top. The Taro flavoring is a powder which is hand shaken. It was a bit on the bitter side, and it wasn't shaken all the way, leading to small clumps of powder clinging to the sides and settling on the bottom. A large, which was about 24 ounces, this was about $5.50, which I wouldn't really consider cheap. It wasn't awful for sure, but not a huge bargain. Overall, I'd avoid anything that used the powder, but the base tea is pretty good. read more

AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS DRINKS! So I may have stopped by here 3 times in the first week that they opened. Such a warm welcome from Vicky every time! I had to bring my mom by here on my last visit as she is always in the mood for something chocolatey so she'll get something like a BLACK BLAST that has Oreos and chocolate sauce mixed in. I'm a fruit kinda gal so I go with pretty much half the menu :D Anything with Strawberries is TO DIE FOR, particularly the DRAMA QUEEN!!! If I could have that daily I would. It has strawberry compote mixed inside but it's not too much where it ruins the experience of slurping through a straw. The ambiance is cute and I love the dark ceiling with the white walls. It reminds me of a little cafe. Nice place to have a business meeting or sit and chat with friends. What you need to know: Service is friendly but frazzled, milk teas are decent but nothing that special, croffle's are REALLY good waffles - but not really what you expect. Came here for a Yelp event. Food: I got the Oreo croffle and my guest had the strawberry one. First, I have to get into this croffle. I was expecting a buttery and flaky croissant texture in the shape of a waffle (basically something similar to La Boulangerie's croissant toast, just waffle form) - and the ladies that were working there basically described it as croissant dough put into a waffle maker. But, while what we got was really good, the croffle itself kinda underwhelmed on the fusion front. It was a lot denser than I think it should've been, and while it did have some flakiness to it, overall, the execution should've been way better on the croissant front. I think they'll need to tweak their croissant dough to get all those layers and that airy flaky texture to be more on point. Now that being said, the croffles themselves were really good on their own if you just think of them as good waffles. The toppings were standard. Can't go wrong with crushed Oreos and cream and strawberries with jam. Drinks: I got the Thai tea milk tea and my guest had the strawberry milk tea. It was great to learn that aside from the milk teas like the Thai tea that use condensed milk, all their milk teas are made from a non-dairy, lactose-free milk powder - so that's a win for all my lactose intolerant folks! That being said, there wasn't really anything special about them. Fairly run of the mill - solid taste but nothing out of the ordinary that you couldn't get at the 100 other tea spots around town. Service: This was a downfall for me, but I will say that they were still very friendly. Seemed to be only two ladies working there, and while they were doing their best, it was obvious that they probably needed one more pair of hands. Having one person take orders, one person doing prep, and another putting everything together would make this a much better experience. As it was only two of them, they were always a bit rushed trying to both clean, make croffles/food, make drinks, and take orders. They didn't really explain the croffle options to us as well as I think they normally could, but all in all, they were nice people, just a little frazzled in that moment. Ambience: Cute little spot with a lot more seating than you would expect, but still a little cramped. I'd prefer to grab and go if this was a spot I would frequent. All in all, while Nom Station is a cute spot, unfortunately the food and drink just wasn't anything special. If you're passing by or live close, it's a solid spot with good waffles and decent teas, but other than that, there are plenty of better spots around the city, especially OTP. read more

Once it was our turn to order, the server guided us through the milk tea and Croffle options. She even provided us with milk tea samples before ordering. We tried the Thai tea, Thai green tea, and brown sugar milk tea. After trying the various milk teas, we decided to go with the Thai tea and Thai green tea. Both of the milk tea options were very good and flavorful. Next we ordered our Croffles. We ordered the Fruity Pebble Croffle and the Oreo Croffle. Both were packed with flavors. They were not to heavy or too sweet, but the perfect bite and taste. However, a little more drizzle of the sauces would have been a great addition to them. We actually ended up dining there and everything was really good. We will definitely be back to try the Strawberry Dreamsickle, it looked really good too.
