I wish I could give 0 stars. This place had a health score of 88 -- that should've been my first warning. I found hair in my sandwich, and when I brought it to the employee's attention, there was no apology. Instead, the first thing she did was point to a sign and say, "We don't give refunds." First of all, I never asked for a refund -- I simply said I didn't want the sandwich anymore. The customer service is absolutely terrible. The sandwiches are mediocre and overpriced. The smoothies are okay, but not good enough to make up for the experience. BEWARE. I will never eat here again.
Delicious Thai tea! They host a lot of pop-ups so we stopped by to check one out (Hapag ATL) and we were able to try out Non Station's Thai tea and chocolate muffin. The location itself is cute, plenty of tables and chairs for a quick eat-in visit and some chairs/tables outside as well. Restroom was decently clean and well stocked.
Great find in the outskirts or Atlanta for a quick boba fix or pick me up with caffeine. Great flavor options and very good coffee. I ordered ube bey (ube brown sugar milk tea) and a dirty matcha latte because I couldn't make up my mind. They also have desserts such as puff pastry and rolled ice cream which is a crowd pleaser for those who don't want specialty drinks.
Nom Station is indeed your sweet destination! They have treats from milk teas and smoothies to croffles (croissant waffles) and rolled ice cream. They have something to satisfy every sweet tooth. Not only that, they also serve salads! I ordered one of their specials, the mangonada. It comes with blended mango and chamoy. It tastes exactly like a chamoyada, sweet but not too sweet with a little kick! Very refreshing and perfect for a hot, summer day. Service is excellent. Vicky, the owner and her team are all very warm, welcoming and helpful. They take the time to explain the items and make great recommendations based on what you like. Be sure to make a stop at Nom Station for your sweet needs!
I hate that I have been kind of scared of Milk Tea for so long...but I mean, being from the South the only thing you are supposed to mix with tea is sugar! But now that I have conquered my fears and had my first Milk Tea, I can see Nom Station as a go to spot from here on out! Nom Station which is located at the busy corner of Powers Ferry and Windy Hill in a decently sized shopping complex that features a few other eateries, Orange Theory, Massage Envy, etc...When pulling in either entrance Nom Station will be directly on front of you as they are conveniently located smack dab in the middle of the complex. Given their location, parking is plentiful. My most recent visit here was shortly after opening on a Thursday morning. Even though they were still getting set up, Vicky, the Owner was quick to greet me. Vicky was phenomenal from entry to exit as she was not only excited for us to be in shop, she was friendly, helpful and passionate about her craft! After letting Vicky know that I was a Milk Tea virgin, she happily explained the process of making, the sweetness levels and shared her recommendations. She also provided me with samples of the Classic Milk Tea and the Thai Tea. Both were quite tasty! However, since it was my first go at it, I opted for the Classic Milk Tea with the addition of cocoa powder. This turned out to be a solid choice! Nom Station isn't only about Milk Tea, as they offer a variety of other drinks and even foods. While I was just there for the drink, the Croffle caught my eye and interest...so, naturally I had to scoop one up. What is a Croffle you ask? A croissant based waffle, and yes...it was delish! It was a buttery, flaky, sturdy waffle that they too with your choice of Oreos, bananas, strawberries or even fruity pebbles! I opted for the Oreo Croffle and it turns out that was the right choice! Overall, I am happy that I have discovered Nom Station. While Iced Mochas are still be number one, when that Milk Tea craving hits, Nom Station will be my first stop!
We visited Nom Station 6 weeks ago for some boba milk tea. Nom Station is located in a strip mall with many other small businesses. Parking was easy to find at about 4:30 pm on a weekday. I think it's great that there are more tea places opening up away from the Buford Highway corridor, which may have the most tea houses per mile in the Atlanta metro area. Honestly, I thought our experience at Nom Station was average, at best, and certainly could've been much better. There were two employees, but appeared that only one of them was working. The employee who was helping us seemed like she was trying to rush us, and assumed that we wanted full ice (which we didn't) and full sugar (which I didn't) in our classic milk teas. It was if we didn't have the option, although we did tell her before she made the drinks what we really wanted, and then she seemed annoyed with us. We had requested boba, but she ran out of boba balls while making our drinks, so we weren't given full servings of boba even though we were charged the full add on prices. Whatever ...
Came for a Yelp Elite event. Got the Thai Milk Tea and a strawberry waffle. The Thai tea was pretty good! Saw another review that it was too sweet and too much ice but I thought it was a normal amount of ice and sweetness so I enjoyed it. The waffle was tasty - good for a small snack. Service was really fast and super friendly!
Came here for Yelp Elite event. This is a small place in a shopping center next to an Orangetheory and a Mediterranean restaurant. There's plenty of parking around. There's some seating inside if you want to eat in there. I got the brown sugar milk tea and thought it tasted great. Not too sweet or full of ice. I'm not entirely sure about the concept of a croffle, but I got the Nutella one and it was pretty good. The lady who was working at the time was super sweet and quick. Great service!
Stopped by Nom Station as I was on the way to Kennesaw the other day. I'm glad I did! It's the perfect snack if you're looking for a quick stop and a small bite. We got the taro milk tea and the Thai tea. We also ordered two croffles- the Oreo one and fruity pebbles one. They're essentially small waffles with toppings on top. They are smaller than I expected, but I was happy with it. The milk teas aren't overly sweet. They also allowed us to taste test both our flavors before we ordered them. Customer service was great! They were both very kind and patient with us while we figured out what we wanted to order.
Let me just start off by saying how down to earth Thanacha and Vicky are. I'm talking genuine conversation and superb customer service. Thanacha and I had an entire conversation about everything lol. I opted to order a few goodies I got the : Milk Thai Tea - it was amazing The Oreo croffle. To this I purchased the following Mango Smoothie Pink romance drink And Oreo rolled ice cream So my mango smoothie barely made it to the car I have little hands and I couldn't catch it before it dropped but don't worry I was able to save the other half .. all was not loss I will definitely be going back without a Shadow of a doubt! Nom station is a super cute tea shop that also offers a few tasty treats and smoothies! We were assisted by the owner & her husband, who worked seamlessly together & quite the cute couple! Anyhoo! We ordered the Thai Green Tea, Banana Tea, both with added brown sugar drizzle, a strawberry croffle & a nutella and banana croffle! The tea's were delicious! The Thai green tea is OUTSTANDING!!! So good we purchased a half gallon to go! Make sure you ask for boboa! I don't believe it's included. The croffles were the perfect consistency, perfect crunch, perfect amount of sweetness! I'd purchase a case of them if I could! Overall, Nom station is definitely a gem & I will be back for more croffle's !
Pretty decent tea and I wish I was hungry enough to buy some food here because it looked pretty decent. Service was average as expected and the place was clean with WiFi, restrooms, and plenty of seats to relax and/or study and get some work done. read more

Nice cafe with a wide variety of food and drink options! Location and Parking Located in a shopping center in Smyrna, Parking is plentiful and free. Venue and Atmosphere A simple café with plenty of seating and large windows, Nom Station has several menus on display with options for every taste. Service Service was prompt, courteous, and efficient. Food and Beverages The avocado toast was yummy, but I took off a star because the boba tea wasn't great. It tasted like plain kiwi juice with pearls at the bottom. No essence of tea or flavor complexity like other boba places have. I'm a boba fiend so I notice all the flavors; not to worry though, the toast saved the day and I was satisfied with the overall experience. Verdict I'll be back for the food! read more

Went to this location while waiting for an appointment. I did a build your own smoothie with peach, mango, and strawberry. It was good and refreshing. They did have a coffee menu as well, which was confusing with how and what to order but I would recommend. read more

I created a BYO smoothie -- PB&J, banana, & strawberries, vanilla protein, & almond milk. Smoothie was DELISH. Now, let's talk about this Croffle and how I was so busy looking at the star berry & fruity pebble Croffle that I overlooked the bacon & cheese Croffle smh all of my items were amazing & satisfied my sweet tooth. But one things for sure, I will be back for the back /cheese Croffle. read more
Customer service 5 stars. The ladies in there have always been friendly to me and explained the menu. Price point/portion size: 5 stars: you do get some bang for your buck. Drinks: 4 stars: I'm giving 4 stars because I've only gotten the strawberry lemonade and the Thai tea. Both were good but there are other drinks I want to try. New boba place on this side of town? YES, SO MUCH YES. We went on a sunday and had the pleasure of meeting two lovely ladies behind the counter. They explained that they were new and still straightening out their menu, they were kind enough to let us try some samples. I got the taro smoothie which was delicious and the hubs got a thai milk tea. The prices are reasonable and the service is fantastic. Both the drinks were perfectly made, not overly sweet, intense on flavor. I will definitely be back. read more

Haven't been here in a while, but the quality is still good. It has moved to a new location since I've been, so if you want coffee and breakfast stuff it's all in one store! The dirty matcha was good, I think they might have changed the matcha brand because it was not as potent as last time. Purple Haze was pretty sweet, however it was tasty, could use more ube for sure. Now the croffle, let's get into it. It was mid, something you could make yourself with a waffle machine. There are better out there with a justifiable price. Definitely will not get that here again. The guy in front was very nice and the wait was not long at all. It was clean and spacious. read more

They're good. If you're in the area, and need a fix, they'll do. Been twice. Got a regular milk tea which I had no issue with, and then a Taro milk tea. The Taro flavoring is a powder which is hand shaken. It was a bit on the bitter side, and it wasn't shaken all the way, leading to small clumps of powder clinging to the sides and settling on the bottom. A large, which was about 24 ounces, this was about $5.50, which I wouldn't really consider cheap. It wasn't awful for sure, but not a huge bargain. Overall, I'd avoid anything that used the powder, but the base tea is pretty good. read more

AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS DRINKS! So I may have stopped by here 3 times in the first week that they opened. Such a warm welcome from Vicky every time! I had to bring my mom by here on my last visit as she is always in the mood for something chocolatey so she'll get something like a BLACK BLAST that has Oreos and chocolate sauce mixed in. I'm a fruit kinda gal so I go with pretty much half the menu :D Anything with Strawberries is TO DIE FOR, particularly the DRAMA QUEEN!!! If I could have that daily I would. It has strawberry compote mixed inside but it's not too much where it ruins the experience of slurping through a straw. The ambiance is cute and I love the dark ceiling with the white walls. It reminds me of a little cafe. Nice place to have a business meeting or sit and chat with friends. So hopefully once the world finds a "new normal" we will be able to hang out in small places together and enjoy some drinks. BUT due to the location of this Nom Station, there IS seating throughout the shopping complex and two cute chairs right outside her shop. I always see people grabbing food from one place and going to sit at another to eat. The shop owners are pretty friendly and know that some people would prefer to enjoy their meals and drinks outside while the weather is nice. Price: Pretty Standard for a custom juice bar! No complaints. Fun Fact: Vicky makes her Boba by hand every few hours unlike other places who make it ahead of the day. So you are getting FRESH boba every time. Mmmm Head over and grab some drinks! Had such a great time visiting this past weekend! They offer a wide variety of bubble teas, fruit smoothies, bingsu (shaved ice), crepes, rolled ice cream, protein shakes, and even salads. Everything is so fresh and handmade with care. PLUS, the owners are the friendliest people you'll ever meet! LOVE LOVE LOVE this place - everything was so yummy. Can't wait to come back! read more

What you need to know: Service is friendly but frazzled, milk teas are decent but nothing that special, croffle's are REALLY good waffles - but not really what you expect. Came here for a Yelp event. Food: I got the Oreo croffle and my guest had the strawberry one. First, I have to get into this croffle. I was expecting a buttery and flaky croissant texture in the shape of a waffle (basically something similar to La Boulangerie's croissant toast, just waffle form) - and the ladies that were working there basically described it as croissant dough put into a waffle maker. But, while what we got was really good, the croffle itself kinda underwhelmed on the fusion front. It was a lot denser than I think it should've been, and while it did have some flakiness to it, overall, the execution should've been way better on the croissant front. I think they'll need to tweak their croissant dough to get all those layers and that airy flaky texture to be more on point. Now that being said, the croffles themselves were really good on their own if you just think of them as good waffles. The toppings were standard. Can't go wrong with crushed Oreos and cream and strawberries with jam. Drinks: I got the Thai tea milk tea and my guest had the strawberry milk tea. It was great to learn that aside from the milk teas like the Thai tea that use condensed milk, all their milk teas are made from a non-dairy, lactose-free milk powder - so that's a win for all my lactose intolerant folks! That being said, there wasn't really anything special about them. Fairly run of the mill - solid taste but nothing out of the ordinary that you couldn't get at the 100 other tea spots around town. Service: This was a downfall for me, but I will say that they were still very friendly. Seemed to be only two ladies working there, and while they were doing their best, it was obvious that they probably needed one more pair of hands. Having one person take orders, one person doing prep, and another putting everything together would make this a much better experience. As it was only two of them, they were always a bit rushed trying to both clean, make croffles/food, make drinks, and take orders. They didn't really explain the croffle options to us as well as I think they normally could, but all in all, they were nice people, just a little frazzled in that moment. Ambience: Cute little spot with a lot more seating than you would expect, but still a little cramped. I'd prefer to grab and go if this was a spot I would frequent. All in all, while Nom Station is a cute spot, unfortunately the food and drink just wasn't anything special. If you're passing by or live close, it's a solid spot with good waffles and decent teas, but other than that, there are plenty of better spots around the city, especially OTP. read more

I went to Nom Station for a bakery pop and so naturally I had to try the drinks there. The interior is simple but perfect for a drink shop. I got the Thaipoon, a mix of matcha and thai tea, two of my favorite flavors and it was very good! I would definitely come back to try more of their drinks and some of their food options! read more

The nine year old liked it! We order rolled ice cream. The ladies were really nice, but really slow. There were only three workers and I'm assuming that it was the first day for one of them, so she definitely gets a pass. If I were in any type of hurry I would've requested a refund because I waited an actual 30 minutes. Other than that, it was great on a Saturday afternoon. I will return and try some other things. read more

My fiancé and I went here on Friday night for the Yelp Event! We were so thankful for the extended summer hours due to our hectic schedules this week, it's been hard trying to get there. The timing was perfect for us. Upon arrival, the staff was super welcoming and friendly. There was a little wait, but not to long. Once it was our turn to order, the server guided us through the milk tea and Croffle options. She even provided us with milk tea samples before ordering. We tried the Thai tea, Thai green tea, and brown sugar milk tea. After trying the various milk teas, we decided to go with the Thai tea and Thai green tea. Both of the milk tea options were very good and flavorful. Next we ordered our Croffles. We ordered the Fruity Pebble Croffle and the Oreo Croffle. Both were packed with flavors. They were not to heavy or too sweet, but the perfect bite and taste. However, a little more drizzle of the sauces would have been a great addition to them. We actually ended up dining there and everything was really good. We will definitely be back to try the Strawberry Dreamsickle, it looked really good too. Overall we really enjoyed our experience at Nom Station and will definitely be back! If you haven't checked out this place, wait no longer, check it out today! read more

Went to this cute little shop in Smyrna after doing some grocery shopping and loved it! Whenever we're in the area we now have a go to boba shop. The other shops in Smyrna are hard to get into (location in the mall or the battery) but this was quick! Loved the quality of the drinks too read more

I came to nom station because i was in the mood for something milky, iced and sweet. I would usually go to starbucks but today i took a chance here. Its a cute little spot to take you away from all the basic drinks sold at other stores, they offer boba, rolled ice cream, waffle, power bowls, smoothies, and more. I tried samples of thai tea and green tea and i love how sweet and milky the drink is. I tried the matcha and just loved it. I'm definitely coming back for my green tea! The cashier who served me really did a great job on directing me to the right drink. read more
