This is our favorite grocery store. All the produce is top notch quality and the best produce we have been able to find in the area. For example, romaine lettuce heads are 2-3 times the size of Publix and lasts longer. Prices are also much cheaper than the chain grocery stores. They also have top notch meats and seafood. If you are a bargain hunter, most days they have meat and vegetables that are marked down as they are reaching expiration. Still great quality if you use that day or throw the meet in your freezer. They also have bogo deals on wine and reduced price beer. Once again, top notch quality store. read more

Was excited to check this place out but was disappointed once there. The produce looked far from fresh.. The store was kinda dinghy. The meats really didn't look safe to eat and after looking at other reviews they're not.... Discovered once home that some of the items I bought were expired. Didn't think to check while there because it's never been an issue anywhere else I usually shop. Yeah, won't be back. read more

Perrine's of NSB finally got a brick and mortar store and what an upgrade it is compared to their open air market that operated just down the road from this new location. This store is filled with some specialty items and some of what I call one off oddities. This is not your typical grocery store by any means but it's always an interesting walk down the aisles, lots of produce, wines, all displayed in a temperature controlled environment which is the upgrade we've been waiting years for. The staff here were very friendly and the store is clean and organized and the prices are reasonable from what I saw during my first visit here. I visited today to purchase mint, but I was initially charged the price for basil. When I noticed the mistake, I politely asked if the price could be corrected from $2.49 to $1.99. Unfortunately, the employee assisting me,responded with a noticeable attitude regarding the price adjustment. After spending a few minutes working through the register issue, she eventually corrected the price and then remarked, "I hope it was worth the extra dollar." I understand that busy holiday weekends can be stressful, and I always try to be patient and understanding. However, at no point were we rude or disrespectful. We simply requested that the correct price be charged and were met with unnecessary hostility. As a local, it was disappointing to have an experience like this. New Smyrna Beach is known for its welcoming community, and interactions like this do not reflect the kindness and customer service that so many local businesses provide. read more

I used to shop at this market back when it was further down the road at the outdoor area near Turnbull Bay Rd. I haven't been much since the new location so I thought I would stop in yesterday to explore. What I found made my homestead heart pretty happy. Produce looked great and the prices were pretty fair. I grabbed a bunch of apples for canning and a selection of fruits/veggies. I wandered over to the pickle area and also tried some fresh pickles, specifically the Ranch and Salt & Vinegar, yum! We also grabbed a rotisserie chicken and some potato salad for a quick dinner night. I found that the pricing of prepackaged foods was a bit on the upper pricey side so I avoided those. I would happily shop again in the produce and deli areas again though. read more

Great place to stop when you're coming into new Smyrna Beach before you cross the bridge. Prices are much lower than Publix. Does have some level of limited selection. I would mostly use it for the basics. Especially good for her fresh vegetables. read more

Good produce. Meat is reasonable. Lots of local stuff. Staff is pleasant. Produce does not last forever, so I think that means it isn't coated with bad stuff. read more

For some reason the experience at check out is difficult, as the prices are scaled up by checkers and they have to be corrected on prices. This is not a one off thing, every time I go, the incorrect pricing has to be pointed out to them and then they will reduce to correct price ONLY if one catches them. One needs to be a Hawk and watch the checkout as its where the mischief is. Example,. Bought 5 limes priced at 5 for a dollar but they tried to price at 29 cents each until I pointed it out and then the price was corrected. read more

We purchased 80/20 ground check Tuesday late afternoon. Opened it today and one package was fine; the other was brown and stunk. (It was sell by tomorrow). I tried to call the New Smyrna Beach store, and the phone went dead for each selection. This is the third time we purchased rotten meat (ground chuck and pork), within the sell by date, from them. They also have outdated products on their shelves. We mentioned it to the meat department, returned a week later and it was still there. (Troyer's Trail Bologna). So disappointed. We have had no problem with Port Orange store. read more

Where do I start with this place. They advertise produce like it's their specialty. It isn't. Nothings rotated or mostly not rotated. Fresh pomelos , fresher I should say on top of old wrinkly ones. The process for the onions was very good but they look old like something from last season. At least they were uniformed sizes and not loaded with excess skins. They had so many bad strawberries I watched as a gentlemen was going through them and placing them on a mark down rack. There was literally strawberry syrup on the bottom of packages and the cardboard tray they were on. Can someone there do a better job of trimming the greens ? Everything looked wilted and tired ; the butts on the Napa cabbage were an inch long. No one wants to pay for that. Forward to some aisle pricing I noticed, Chik filet sauce here is $5.69 and is 4.49 just down the road at Winn Dixie. Bays English muffins are $6.99 here and 4.49 everywhere else with some places selling them on sale for $3.99. Why would anyone shop here ? The people who do are being taken for a ride.
