I've been wanting to try this restaurant for sometime now even though it's rare to find a great restaurants in the hotels in the area. We arrived about 30 minutes before closing which I know is horrible timing but there were still a few customers in the restaurant and the hostess (Makaiya) welcomed us as if we were the first customers of the day. We picked a widow side table over looking the ocean, the restaurant was very clean but the windows were so dirty on the outside it obscured the view which was disappointing (I stepped outside to snap the photo). As we reviewed the menu Makaiya began stacking chairs and sweeping up on the opposite site of the restaurant while reminding us there was no need to hurry and that we should take our time. We placed our orders and sipped on iced tea, I swear I could almost hear the minutes tick off the clock past closing time. The food finally appeared from the kitchen along with an order of reassurance that there was no hurry even though we could see the lights dim and hear the clicking of the locks on the store front doors and of course the whispers from the kitchen - I can't completely blame the staff, after all it was the weekend and the kitchen closed just as my burger was plated. Ok we established the courtesy of the staff, and the awkward feeling of the guest but I felt good as my teeth sank through the crusty brioche bun and tastefully seasoned beef that was cooked to a perfect medium well. The vegetables were freshly cut and chilled which paired well with the waffled fries. The turkey club was well executed, hand carved on an amazing seven grain toasted bread. This restaurant is in the Best Western Hotel. You walk into the lobby. Take elevator to second floor, and then walk down a long corridor of hotel rooms before reaching the restaurant. We walked in and were greeted by a girl who told us she will be with us in about 8 to 10 minutes. We saw a sign saying they were short staffed. We didn't have the time to wait. May be a good restaurant if you are staying in the hotel. read more

For the price there are so many other places that are more accommodating. So I ordered an omelet and asked for tomatoes instead of hash browns or grits. I was told it would be a $1.99 up charge. Really? So I paid $10.95 (luckily not 12.94 because I didn't order the tomatoes) for a tiny omelet with hash browns and toast I couldn't eat. It was our last day of our trip and unfortunately the Beacon Restaurant on Flagler was closed, so we decided to go here. My wife and were seated and I asked for water and my wife ordered a coffee and water. I was served coffee and my wife given water. I gave her my coffee and told her to keep the water. I would get something with our food. We both ordered eggs Benedict, and I ordered a mimosa. There was no options for different mimosas on the menu, so dummy me assumed it would be orange juice in it. When it arrived it was pink, I'm assuming grapefruit juice? Our food came fairly quickly. Both of our eggs Benedict were hard boiled and my hash browns were over cooked. I managed to choke down my meal, however my wife ate a little of her eggs Benedict and a little of her grits. The waitress never asked how meal was or inquired why most of my wife's meal was uneaten. We stayed at the BW for a family wedding last weekend and decided to come to the restaurant for breakfast the morning after. We had a ton of family staying at the hotel (almost 30 of us) but only about 15 of us made it to breakfast. Lol! Seascape is a smaller space but overlooks the water - amazing view. You have a great view from any angle in the place. The food was fairly decent but the service was outstanding. Ashely was our server and considering how many of us there were she was extremely patient with our group and beyond nice. I'm a big advocate for service making the experience and she definitely made our experience even more delightful. 5 stars for Ashley! We all ordered a bunch of different things at different times and everything came out very fresh and hot. My only complaint is that my English muffin was cold and not toasted but I didn't mention that I wanted it that way so that may have been my own fault. Definitely recommend a stop in to Seascape whether you're staying at the hotel or walking by on the beach. Please ask for Ashely's smiling face! read more

The view from this restaurant is really great, right on the water. It's inside the Best Western but open to the public. Go in the front entrance and take the elevator to the 2nd floor and follow the hallway all the way back. I've been there a few times and the wait staff has always been friendly. That being said, it's a very small restaurant with few tables so you can easily wait over an hour if it's buys and there is very little room to wait. The food is decent, especially for the price. I would not recommend the bloody mary. It was loaded up with interesting garnishes like a bacon strip but the mix they use is undrinkable. The bacon strip was not crisp either. read more

This location is good for breakfast. It is located inside a hotel and is mostly for hotel guest which we were not staying at this hotel. Service was great and fast as expected. Food came out hot and quickly. The location was hard to find as it's not posted outside the hotel. There are other more convenient places if you are not staying at this Best Western hotel. My daughter order ordered pancakes topped with blue berries and they came back mixed in the pancake. My wife and I visited on 11/26/2018 during a one week stay on the beach. This is a nice convenient place for breakfast and probably lunch as well. We were within walking distance from our hotel and didn't want anything but a nice quiet breakfast by the beach which describes this place nicely. The staff is very friendly and the menu is just what you would expect from a hotel shop. Basic food done right, and the added bonus of checking out the hotel itself which has now become a candidate for our next extended stay. read more

Sunday morning breakfast - the bloody was good, perfectly spicy and had nice extras (bacon, olives... Etc.) The food was sub par - the breakfast burrito said it contained chorizo, but it was definitely more of a breakfast sausage that tasted like it was sitting in a refrigerator for a few days. It has that distinct "leftover" taste to it. The service was awful. Both (we had two for some reason as there were only 10 tables) waitresses were moody and barked whenever they came to ANY table, not just ours. When I placed my order I decided to change it after the rest of the table ordered and the waitress was very annoyed hat I changed my mind and didn't even look at me as she muttered the options. After trying to get both of their attention several times to bring hot sauce, I walked up to the desk to ask for it and I was asked what I wanted and where I was sitting. (Again, there's only 10 tables and maybe 6 were filled.) Overall just super under impressed in general which is extremely unfortunate because the view was amazing. I recommend checking out the local fair off Flagler Street where all the action happens, or settling for a nice picnic on the beach (if you really want the view.) For a similar view, try Breakers right at the end of Flagler St. I ate there last night and it was amazing. I have them 2 stars out of 5 because the bloodies were the highlight of the meal... We were there for breakfast on Tuesday and Wed, 6/12 & 6/13. Our server was Payton, and she was just great. Attentive and caring. Food was the best and compared right up there with my homemade. Met the cook because I was impressed with their French Toast and learned a trick from her to make my homemade FT taste even better. Sunnyside Up eggs were perfectly cooked and not runny. The fresh coffee was deee-lish, too. I had some small grinds in the bottom of my cup, so I'm thinking that they perc their coffee (I didn't ask). I only perc at home, as I consider perc'd coffee to be the best tasting coffee. Kudo's to the cook and the staff, you folks rock! read more

We are staying at the Best Western. Normally we avoid hotel restaurants, but based on the reviews, we decided to give it a try. The only thing I agree with is the view. We had a table by the window with great beach view. We did not experience the great service that we read about. Very mechanical and only friendly when the check was delivered. The first day, I had the California omelette, which sounded better than it tasted. The omelette ingredients ruined the texture of the eggs, making them a bit wet. The avocado was not ripe, and I had to cut it with a knife. I always ask for my English muffin to be well done. It was medium at best, but that is a universal problem at breakfast restaurants. We went back this morning, only because we were starving after having stayed up all night for the Falcon Heavy launch. I figured I would keep it simple and just get scrambled eggs with ham and grits, and English muffin well done (why do I bother?). Is there a ham shortage?? The eggs were ok, but unevenly cooked and not very appetizing. The grits - cold. Okay, room temperature. The English muffin was pretty much not toasted at all. So after we were able to flag down the waitress and ask he to heat the grits and toast the muffin, she removed my ENTIRE plate, rather than just the grits and muffin. So when my plate was finally returned, my eggs and ham had gotten cold. The grits were the same room temperature, and my muffin was very lightly toasted and dry. At this point, I gave up, cut my losses and ate what I could. Still hungry, so maybe lunch will go better. Oh - my husband had bacon and eggs. His toast was uncooked and his bacon was cold. There must be better options in NSB. By the way, the hotel is fabulous, minus the restaurant. read more

We treated friends to lunch Tuesday as we were staying at the hotel & spending the day on the beach. The restaurant has a great view and the waitress was very nice but it seems many things on the menu they no longer have or she had to make sure they had the ingredients to make it. Even ordering a beer she said they might have one left. Are they going out of business? Both men had the wraps, the other lady had a fish sandwich & I had the salad with chicken & we all liked our food. We were the only customers in the place but there was a loud staff meeting taking places & we had to listen to it and even what hotel customers put in toilets. I did call the front desk later to mention they may want to hold there meeting out of ear shot of customers. She just blew me off. read more

Having vacationed in NSB for 40 years, we thought we knew the restaurants really well. Seascape was a pleasant surprise. We booked a last minute room at the Best Western for a weekend and ate at all our usual favorites. On our way out of town, we decided to give the hotel restaurant a try for convenience. Located on the second floor, it is nicely decorated and has floor to ceiling windows with views of the beach. To my knowledge, it is the only restaurant in NSB that serves breakfast overlooking the beach. The food was reasonably priced ($6-$9) for hearty portions. We had eggs, bacon (My kids loved the bacon), ham, home fries and a BLT. Next time, we'll try the homemade apple fritters. They are only open for breakfast and lunch. We'll go back to this hidden jewel again for sure. read more
