The service center is unreliable, unorganized, and extremely uninformed. I've scheduled two recall appointments sent from the manufacturer, both times I have left there WITHOUT THE PROBLEM fixed. First time with an oil cap sat for three hours before I was informed they didn't have the part, when the appointment was scheduled for that specific reason. And yesterday I dropped my car off for an engine recall that came in the mail and the service department was familiar with, they took my car in with my information and told me they'd contact me the next day. No one ever called I started calling and after multiple stems guy a tech that told me "literally just now we hit told that recall was canceled and we cannot do anything to ur car" no answers just do you want to leave it or come get it? Call corporate if you want answers and basically I could go fly a kite.. read more

Every place starts with 3 stars. Sales: -1 star. They have a sales guy that is a seriously pushy "space invader". He basically stood over me as I filled out various documents and insisted I attend his "feature demonstrations". I tried to politely tell him, "Hey, why don't go play hide and go fuck yourself," with no effect. I had to go to the sales manager and ask him, "Could you assign a different sales representative? That guy is totally on my tit!" Service: -1 star. They don't appear to respect the customer's time. It took forevvvvvver to finalize my lease agreement long after the bank had approved the financing and the terms of the lease had been agreed to. I was there for over 5 hours when I should have been in and out in under 3. Bottom line: If you absolutely MUST buy a Kia east of Riverside, I guess you're going to have to suck it up. Me, I think I'd drive a bit to find another dealership. PS ... Within the first month of ownership Kia sent me a service bulletin indicating that the software controlling the computer needed to be updated. The Kia in Moreno Valley is so crowded it's not even worth going to so I made an appointment here. I was on time, they were not. My car sat for an hour before a tech spent 10 minutes uploading the revised software. Then it sat for another 40 minutes waiting to be washed with no car wash attendant anywhere to be found. I really hesitated taking my car in to Kia service for transmission service. I could have done it myself, but I wanted it records from dealer. Big mistake!! Carlos the service manager took my car in and called me to pick up. Drove it to work when I got a chance I decided to check the work done on it. Man!! There was oil on the door panel oil on the hood and oil dripping from the transmission coming from the loose plastic filler plug. I had to hand tighten the plug. Lesson learned! I will take it back tomorrow so they can correct it and get some more paper trail on this issue. No one is perfect but come on!! Oil inside my car!! Why is that service tech still employed? The sales manager we met was extremely rude and unprofessional. All we asked was about 1k lower than their offer, and he called us 'want to steal the car'. Their trade in price for our old car was about 2k lower than what other dealers offered, and he basically called our old car as junk, and that no one would pay that money to buy it (guess what, it was sold at that price). We walked out of there knowing that we'd never come back, and then he dared to call us the day after, asking us to reconsider their offer. So shameless. TL;DR: Joe Avalon ran my credit without warning while I was in the restroom, after being told by the sales rep that it wasn't going to be ran if my check cleared. Beware to all shoppers that if you come in with a pre-approval loan or want to pay with cash, they will lie to you and say they need you to sign an insurance contract in case of emergencies. Don't sign it, DON'T do it. My fault is that I trusted them. I was going to purchase a car and told my husband to drive home 45 miles away from the dealership and I will drive home in the new car after paperwork. When Joe Avalon, the crooked man, ran my credit behind my back, I canceled the $63k transaction. Then I asked if they can send me home, it's the least that they can do, Joe told me to "go on foot." He asked me if "I knew who he was?!" like he was the founder of Kia or the President of the US. LOL. It doesnt matter what his position is or how much he makes, he is a bad person for lying and taking advantage of a young woman. In this business you have to treat people with respect. Dropped my car off at 8:40 for my 9:00 appointment for an oil change. It is now noon & the guy at the desk comes and tells me it will be another couple hours because there are still several people in front of me & on Saturdays they only have 2 technicians. He said my 9:00 appointment doesn't mean my car will be serviced at 9:00 it means that it secured me a spot anytime between 9:00 and 2:00 when they close. That is so absurd. There is also no manager here to speak to, we have to call corporate or call on Monday to speak to anyone in charge. Pay a premium price for an oil change just to sit here the full day. They should definitely disclose this type of information to you rather than letting you think your car will be serviced at the time your appointment is set for. This establishment has a majority 1 star rating, why isn't management or corporate trying to do something to fix this? read more

I had a couple of things on my telluride that needed to be repaired. The passenger power mirror, and the rear window molding broke off. I spoke with Olivia in the service department and she was able to get both fixed and made sure the warranty covered everything. I am 70 years old and in all my years, I am failing to remember a time where cusotmer service by any company has been as bad as what I am experiencing with Perris Valley Kia. Last week, I received a notification from Kia America stating that my car qualified for a theft deterrent installation at no charge and that I should make an appointment with my local Kia dealer to get it done. So, of course, the next thing I did was go to the Kia Perris Valley website, where I already have an account as I have had work done on my car done before and when I signed in, it stated that there is no recalls on my car and then if I need to bring it the initial estimate would be $169!! WTF??? So, I called them at the number provided for service on the dealer's website. Young lady answered the phone and I briefly told her what the issue was and was told I had the wrong department that i wanted service (well, that is the number I called so already there is a problem) and she transferred me. The phone rang multiple times until answered by an automated system which said that there was no one available to take my call and then it just hung up on me. So, I called again, this time calling the general number as listed on the website. I pressed "2" after being prompted, for the service department and person answered it in the service department. I explained about the notice, the no recall notation on the website and about no online appointments for 30 days at least when trying to make an appointment online. He told me that it was the website policy to not accept appointments within a 30 day period (GREAT way in my opinion to chase customers away) and then he told me that I needed to make an appointment and he would transfer me to the appointment desk. The call was transferred and again, no human, phone was answered by automated system which said There is no one available to answer your call and then just "beeped". Nothing about leave a voice mail, a number after the beep or anything, just the beep. I left a message anyway not even knowing if that is what was expected. so, after that, I completed the contact form on the Perris Valley KIA website at https://www.perrisvalleykia.com/contactus and explained my situation. The only responses I have received so far is from the sales department. My situation has had nothing to do with sales, I have never mentioned sales and believe you me, I never will mention sales at this dealer even if they were the last dealer on the planet. I would rather walk than buy a new car from this place. I received no less than 7 or 8 emails and texts combined from the dealership sales department including from the general Sales Manager himself. Obviously their contact system does nothing more than create auto-responses from their sales and marketing department and that no one reads the information or requests provided in the initial contact. This morning, I took the chance by calling the phone number that was on one of the many emails I received from a Mr. Adam Awwad of the sales department in hopes it was a direct line. He answered, it was a direct line. I asked him why he was contacting me and he said he was responding to my inquiry (Yes, that is what he said) about a new car. I told him I wanted to talk to the general manager or the dealership owner. He said hold on, I could hear him in the background talking to someone saying that there is a (my name) on the phone with a complaint. The phone was picked up by the an person saying he was the Sales Manager,, I did not catch his name but I believe it was Jose Salgado, who, believe it or not, was one of the people who sent me an email that said, "My name is Jose Salgado General Sales Manager, I see that you have been in communication with Alexander Niebla about the Kia Full Line. If there is anything that I can do to earn your business please let me know." Well, I have no clue who this Alexander person is but that kind of figures right? I never inquired about the full line of Kia autos. I never asked anything about sales. Anyway, this manager, who was, in my opinion, very rude although I was very angry, told me that I could either let him help me or I could be on my way. Said website was new in the past couple days with the addition of AI, (I do not care ass that has NOTHUING to do with phone calls) and then told me that he would have the service people call me back. I have heard nothing yet. I told him that I was going to bring my car in for 70K maintenance which would soon be coming up and that I doubted I would would bring it to Perris Valley Kia for such. He response was that I could take to LA, San Diego or wherever I wanted. There are more details but why post them? I think what I have written is indicative of the experiences one might expect from Kia Perris Valley. In my opinion, the place is a joke and care about nothing but selling you a new care with ALL their communications and responses being geared towards such. PISSED OFF!!!! read more

When I picked my car up there was a scratch on my front bumper, grease marks on my bumper and even the car wash they did was done with dirty water because I can still see the later marks. I'm only giving 5 stars to the woman who helped me in the Service Dept. I have a Kia Optima Hybrid (BTW, beware of these cars. They're crap), and it seized on me. I come to find out that there WAS a Class Action law suit because of this. I wasnt informed until after it was too late. So I towed my car to this place. The woman in there told me that KIA should've replaced my engine with a new one free of charge. She tried to get that done for me, but her boss refused. She somehow talked him into having them "repair" my short engine block. The day I picked up my car, on my way home, I noticed my car began overheating by the temperature gauge reading. I pulled over and called Perris Valley Kia to let them know what was happening. I had to have my Kia towed back to Perris Valley Kia, but not before I had my husband check it out. It seems that the mechanic me neglected to fill my radiator with coolant bcz it was bone dry and the cap was loose. It also had very little motor oil in it (per the dip stick). After it being towed, and checked by their mechanic AGAIN I'm able to pick up my car. I also had them replace all the belts and hoses, per their advice. 3 months later, while driving to work, I hear a shredding noise and look in my reav view mirror and see all this black stuff behind me. The. My car shuts down. The Serpentine belt they replaced ripped and shred to pieces (per my AAA guy). I took it to Kia of Temecula to install another one. Then, one month to the day of the belt incident, my engine seizes AGAIN. This begs the question... "was my car ever even fixed, or did they just gerry rig it?" did they even replace the old belts, or just charged me $599.00 and said they did. I don't trust their mechanic, and from the past reviews (recent) this place is dishonest and doesn't value customer service ethics. My car has been sitting for 2 months now. We bought a BRAND NEW Kia Sorrento 2021 from them mid January. on Monday my car just STOPPED in the middle of a very busy street. Gas just stopped working. it happened to me three times on my way home. We made an appointment online to A- get an oil change and B- get this checked. I'm already frustrated because I cannot get the oil changed at my regular place because they don't carry the type of filter for the car (the car is too new; fine ok I understand this isn't their fault). Now my car is just stopping? I had my eleven month old baby in the car in the middle of traffic. So I take my car into the appointment where I'm told they are backlogged, so I have to wait three days for my car, YET THEY WON'T GIVE ME A RENTAL because they're not sure if my car is under warranty? But they're going to check the battery make sure its not that etc, then call me. So they call my spouse and say "your car is ready". When we ask about the issue the same thing is said and when we start stating that the car is brand new and we have no way to get around, that its clearly under a warranty, he HANGS UP THE PHONE ON US. Are you kidding me Perris Kia? We specifically purchased this car BRAND NEW to avoid having issues and be ensured my new baby was safe. I understand you have no control of the issues of the car, however how you approach and handle your customers after, you do control.
