I want to take a moment to praise Perris Valley Veterinary Clinic--especially Dr. Sharp and his incredible team--for their compassion and care during a very difficult time. We brought in our 3-year-old English bulldog, Harley, after he suddenly stopped eating. It turned out he had swallowed a toy and needed surgery to remove the blockage. Dr. Sharp performed the surgery and took the time to thoroughly explain everything to us. His dedication and genuine concern made a huge difference. This isn't just a job to him--he truly cares about each of his patients. I've never met a vet who shows such deep compassion. I HIGHLY recommend Perris Valley Veterinary Clinic. A huge thank you to Dr. Sharp, Dr. Krantz, Collin, and the entire staff for their kindness and support during such an emotional experience. We're happy to report that Harley is recovering well and on the mend!

I can't express enough gratitude to Perris Animal Clinic for the exceptional care they provided to my beloved Penny. She's an 8-year-old mini doxi who had been in severe pain due to dental issues--we discovered she needed to have 12 teeth pulled. The situation was overwhelming, especially since we were concerned about affording her care. From the moment we walked in, the entire staff treated Penny as if she were their own pet. Dr. Sharp was absolutely amazing. He took the time to thoroughly explain what was happening with Penny, patiently answering all our questions and easing our worries. His compassion and expertise made a world of difference during such a stressful time. What truly touched our hearts was the extra mile they went to keep us connected with Penny while she was under their care. They texted me pictures of Penny, showing her resting comfortably and being well looked after. In my opinion, they saved her life. Penny is now back to her happy, playful self. I will forever be grateful for their exceptional care and kindness. Perris Animal Clinic truly is the best there is in veterinary care. They are open 7 days a week! From reptiles to mice, they have a genuine love and dedication for all animals. If you have the means, please consider donating to them so they can continue their incredible work and help other pets like Penny. They are a true blessing to our community, and I highly recommend them to anyone seeking compassionate and expert care for their fur babies. I wanted to edit this because Penny is the happiest I have ever seen her thanks to this wonderful vet clinic. She plays, eats well, sleeps well and most of all she smiles more. I can't get over the change in her. For the first time in a long time she is happy, pain free and acting like a puppy. She is so full of joy because of the wonderful care and help she was given. Thank you Perris Animal Clinic, from all of us Penny Hannah, Brad and I for everything you've done for Penny and our family!

I've been going to this vet for a few years. The staff is always welcoming and the prices are reasonable. Today I took my dog to get checked because he's had a cough for a few days . Dr. Sharp was so nice and very informative. He listened to my concerns and was thorough . I recommend this establishment.

    He's just a little guy.

I came in to get my new kitten vaccinations, dewormed, a microchip, and to get him neutered. I also wanted him examined since he was a stray and he had a noticeable cut on his paw. Dr. Sharp was a pleasure to speak to. He is clearly passionate about animals and he answered all of my questions in great detail. Any doctor (veterinarian) who encourages his patients (owners) to talk and ask more questions is a winner in my book and that is the vibe embodied here. I appreciate that attitude in comparison to my experience with other animal hospitals (typically corporate owned) which has been that they try to rush you in and out of the examination room and are annoyed if you have extra questions or want clarification. The staff and Dr. Sharp made me feel like even this routine visit for my kitten was important and I will definitely continue to bring my kitten as well as my other cat here if they ever have any future health issues. I also want to stress that the pricing was extremely competitive and affordable. I was initially fine with my quote that was less than $550 considering all the services that were being completed, but they discounted the total cost to less than $500 and Dr. Sharp stitched up my kitten's cut on his paw for free. Obviously pricing varies between species and situations and I wouldn't use my review as the end all be all with pricing, but I include my quote as a reference point. I feel like that was a generous quote given all the services that were performed on my kitten. Lastly, I appreciated the transparency and clarity that Dr. Sharp provided about his business practices. Ownership changed at this office early this year (2024) and although my family has been here in the past for our dogs and have had positive experiences, I was impressed by my experience here today as I've gone to other veterinarians in the past and none have made me feel as informed or like my pets are genuinely cared for as this practice has. Overall, I had a great experience and I am glad I took my kitten to this office and I am confident in the level of care this practice will provide my pets with in the future.

I'm not a religious person, but I do believe that sometimes our circumstances align in such a way that the perfect person, or in my case, the perfect pet, can come into our lives and have a profound impact, almost like a religious experience. The day I adopted Ziana, my dorky, clumsy, lovable husky who was afraid of cats and loved chasing lizards in the backyard, felt like a miracle to me. So, when Ziana became seriously ill, I was worried sick and terrified. I was afraid of facing the worst possible outcome for any pet owner. For many of us, our pets are as beloved as our own family members, and when we have to take them to a veterinarian, we want professionals who truly care for them as much as we do. From the outset, the staff at the Perris Valley Veterinary Clinic checked all those boxes and more, especially Dr. Sharp. I have had family pets throughout my life and, as a result, I've met many veterinarians. Most were pleasant and seemingly knowledgeable, but the interaction was strictly transactional. This was not the case with Dr. Sharp. He was so sweet. I could tell he was honestly concerned for my dog and communicated clearly about her diagnosis, with a carefully balanced optimism about her recovery and what could be the worst outcome. Ziana was immediately treated with the utmost urgency she deserved. During her hospitalization, I was regularly updated on her condition and was completely at ease with her being in the care of their staff. I cannot stress this enough: Dr. Sharp and his team took every possible measure to save Ziana before having the conversation with me about letting her go, and ultimately, she was put to rest. Euthanizing an animal can never be a "good experience." We can only hope that when the time comes, it will be dignified and peaceful for our pet and for us, the owners who love and care for them. Dr. Sharp gave me room to bond one final time with my fur baby, and I never felt pressured to hurry through that process. He spoke to me gently about the medication used in the procedure and how it worked, and only proceeded when I was ready to begin the first step. Once Ziana had passed, I was given both time and privacy to say goodbye. When I was ready to leave, I had no doubt that her body would be handled with care and respect. Euthanizing my baby was unimaginably painful, but Dr. Sharp and his staff made it as bearable as possible during the most difficult and heart-wrenching experience a pet owner has to face. There are plenty of vets who provide medical services for your animal, and I know that sometimes it is attractive, if not necessary, to price-shop for your pet's care. The question to ask yourself is whether you want a standard cash-for-service arrangement with a vet, or do you want a long-term relationship with a family veterinarian? If your pet is as much family to you as my dog was, then take your pet to Perris Valley Veterinary Clinic.

Then after a day or two, they reached out to change the time. Alright, not a big deal. They told me that my groomer wasn't available on that day/time. So, they gave me another groomer at a different time. Not a problem. Another few days go by and I get a text that they need to change the time again. Oh okay. It's changed again. Okay, at least we are set. That was my train of thought. The day of the appointment, I get a text saying would it be okay if I came in 30 minutes? Ummm the appointment was at 4:00pm and you are asking to arrive at 11:30am. I'm at work at this point, trying to get ahold of my husband who is at work, so we can try to rearrange our schedules to accommodate the complete change in time. Honestly, my husband was upset that this was happening while he's at work. I was also irritated about this last minute change and only 30 mins notice. That's just not okay. You can't do that to people. I understand that they have you sign paperwork and let you know that there's a 2 hour window for your appointment. So, you do have to be available within a 2 hour window. Which is fine. If my appointment is at 4pm then the 2 hour window would be around that, and it definitely would not include 11:30am. That's way out of the window so they weren't even following their own policy. That's frustrating to me. Not sure my husband and I will pay for this service again, just because of the appointment time changing so much. It's unfortunate because we do like the grooming for our dog. Original appointment was at 8am. They changed it to 4:45pm. Then they changed it to 4pm. They tried to change it to 11:30 last minute/ on the day of the appointment. That's just not professional. The whole point of the mobile grooming is that it is convenient and easy. This experience was neither.

Outrage Over Lake Elsinore Mobile Groomer Sparks Community Backlash…read moreAn investigation is developing in Lake Elsinore following intense community concern over a viral video involving Perry's Pets Mobile Grooming. The video, captured on a client's Ring security camera and widely circulated on social media platforms like TikTok and Facebook, has led to a wave of allegations regarding the handling of a client's pet by business owner Renee Perry. The footage shows the moments the dog was returned to its owners front porch, sparking immediate public outcry over what viewers described as rough handling. However, key details surrounding the incident are currently being scrutinized to separate online speculation from reported facts: The Black Markings: While initial online rumors alleged that dark spots on the dog's coat were signs of physical abuse or severe bruising, subsequent reports indicate the markings may actually have been industrial grease transferred from inside the mobile grooming van. Allegations of Improper Handling: The central focus of the community's concern involves the dog's medical history and kneeing the dog. The dog reportedly had a pre-existing fake hip from a prior replacement surgery. It is alleged that the groomer was informed of this fragile medical condition before the appointment. Despite the groomer knowing this, the video appears to show the groomer using her knee to guide or push the dog, making contact near the sensitive, surgically repaired hip area. Following the viral backlash and a flood of complaints from local pet owners, the business's online presence imploded. Its Yelp page was placed under an active media monitoring alert to halt a barrage of negative reviews, and the mobile service is currently listed online as permanently CLOSED. Local animal welfare authorities have not yet released an official statement confirming whether formal charges or citations will be issued. https://www.facebook.com/reel/1329554399320662

From a Longtime Customer -- Very Disappointed in How This Was Handled…read more We began using Couture Pet Grooming in December 2023 after my mother's elderly Black Labrador mix, Thunder, came to live with us in Southern California. For approximately 30 months, we were very satisfied with the grooming services Thunder received. Until this incident, I would have gladly given Couture five stars and recommended them to others. Unfortunately, our experience involving a future boarding reservation completely changed my opinion. We arranged for Couture to board Thunder for an upcoming family vacation. We were quoted $455 for seven nights plus one day of daycare, with a 50% deposit required to hold the reservation. On June 25, 2026--approximately 120 days before the scheduled boarding--I paid $255 by Zelle, which was actually more than the requested 50% deposit. Tragically, Thunder's health deteriorated significantly. At approximately 15 years old, he could no longer stand or move normally and was experiencing several age-related health problems. After consultation with family and Animal Control, we made the extremely difficult and humane decision to have Thunder put to sleep on August 3, 2026. The following day, approximately 83 days before the scheduled boarding, we notified Couture of Thunder's death, cancelled the reservation, and requested the return of our $255 deposit. We were told: "The deposit is non refundable. We keep deposit to hold dates and it is non refundable." This was extremely disappointing. In the boarding correspondence we received before paying the deposit, we were told that a 50% deposit was required to hold the dates, but we were not told that the deposit was nonrefundable. Had that condition been clearly disclosed to me beforehand, I would not have paid $255 approximately four months in advance. I subsequently requested a receipt and invoice regarding the transaction and was told one would be provided. As of the date of this review, I have not received it. This is especially difficult because we were not cancelling for convenience or because our vacation plans changed. Thunder died. We cancelled approximately 83 days before his scheduled stay. I recognize and appreciate the satisfactory grooming services Couture provided Thunder over the years. Unfortunately, the way this final matter was handled after the death of a longtime customer's pet has overshadowed those positive experiences. Our family lost a beloved companion. Under these circumstances, and based on how our $255 deposit was handled, I can no longer recommend Couture Pet Grooming.
