More cuts near her private area.
    Monica S.

Do not take your pets here!! Please read and take this review seriously before thinking of taking your pets here. I took my Golden Retriever for the first time to this salon for a full bath and cut. I specifically said no shave and somehow they still managed to cut my dogs skin on varies parts of her inner thighs by her private area causing irritation and bleeding, nails trimmed so short you can see blood, and inside of her ears were cut and irritated. The groomer did not approach my dog at check in to meet her or to assess what and where she will be trimming. Typically, it takes a groomer, 2-5 hours to finish grooming my dog. The groomer here called me less than two hours from drop off that she was ready which was the first red flag for me. Upon arriving I can see my dog tied in the back moping. The groomer charged me first and handed my dog afterwards. She not once asked to see what she did on my dog. What I noticed first was a terrible uneven super short cut on my golden. We got home and my dog continued to mope around so decided to inspect her, and that's when I noticed all the cuts. The following day I contacted the salon to request to speak to the salon manager hoping for an apology and to remedy the situation. The manager off the bat was rude and defensive . I didn't get to finish telling her and she cut me off to tell me my dog is sensitive so next time don't ask for a sanitary trim. She said my dog wasn't bleeding at the salon otherwise the groomer would have told me and the groomer didn't noticed she cut my dogs skin or nails. How the salon manager knows what the groomer noticed is beyond me. I did not get an apology until I mentioned it that she is failing to take responsibility and give an apology then she stated " I am sorry, but what do you want me to do?" She was defensive from the beginning and did not take any responsibility for the rushed job and cuts caused on my dog. My dog usually is happy after visiting a groomer but after her salon visit her she was upset upon picking her up and at home. They did a rushed job and didn't care they were hurting her. If a groomer can't notice she's cutting dogs like the manager said, then she's in the wrong business!

My poor pup, she's been sad since my daughter picked her up. I asked that she not be cut short because she has thin hair on the body, but I wanted the face to be shaped, not botched. I called and spoke to Mike, and I even sent him pictures and told him this was unexceptionable, but he had no remorse and said that next time he would put me with a different groomer. customer service is lacking, and the groomer who did this should be fired.

First time I've taken my cats anywhere to be groomed. I called to see if I needed an appointment and luckily I didn't. I dropped one of my cats off and she came out looking like a new cat. So happy I brought here. Took them 45 mins to do a full groom.

This my dog he's hurt he's a inside dog and now he can't open his eye he doesn't even let us get close to it

I had took my dog for a cut and not he's hurt can't open his left eye not okay at all

Abrasion and blood vessels all in ear. Clearly hit with some object.

Do not use this salon! I never thought a "professional" business could remain open after all the noted issues of animal abuse posted on Yelp and on Google. This place needs to be investigated. I don't typically fuss and never post reviews, but what happened to my golden retriever today was traumatic and people need to know that this business is not trained to properly handle animals and should shut their doors. The owners will be held accountable for what occurred today. My 12 month old puppy who they said was "aggressive" was only a cover up for the mishandling and abuse by the Jennifer the groomer. Services weren't even completed beside the wash, so how did my puppy have physical injuries if they never made it to the clippers or scissors . Called the owner Nancy and she hung up on me.

So I just moved close to the area and needed a groomer for my 3 dogs. I've had all three dogs groomed and I was happy with the results. They do a good job. The price is reasonable. They also don't take forever to get it done. My dogs come back happy, so I know they must be good with dogs.

My son brought our Bernadoodle in to be groomed, and they convinced him that he was matted and required a summer cut. My son reluctantly agreed, and they completely shaved him. To do a summer cut requires no finesse in grooming, and they charged me $189 for a cut that took less than 15 minutes that is no different than a farmer shearing his lambs. Here is a picture of what matted hair looks like, and pictures of my dog before his summer cut. If you look at his summer cut, check out his ears and tail, you can see they did take the time to brush out. Which means they were too lazy to accommodate us. I also pointed out to them that when I brought him there last year, they were accommodating to my request of a trim and could pull up the record on their system. They made the excuse that they couldn't do it because their system was in transaction mode. I question their integrity because they used to list the prices of the services they provided. Now they can subjectively name their prices. I expressed my concerns, and this group of employees quickly dismissed me, saying my pet was a big dog, therefore it cost more, no bigger than my Huskies, which I paid far less for grooming. If you have experienced this type of customer service, stand your ground and demand that they meet your needs/desires for your pet's grooming. What happened to that friendly family atmosphere?

They assured me they could work with her. After I dropped her off, they even called and asked for permission to put a muzzle on her so they could continue. I also offered to stay and help comfort my dog during the grooming, but they told me it wasn't necessary. About two hours later, I received a call to come pick her up. When I saw her, I was shocked. She looked terrible. They didn't even groom her face, and she had multiple cuts on her ears and face. To make matters worse, she was still wet when they handed her back to me. They told me my dog was aggressive, but at no point did anyone call to let me know they were unable to safely complete the grooming. Instead, they waited until I arrived and then tried to charge me extra because they said it took two people to work on her. I have a 1-year-old Maltipoo who is incredibly sweet and loving. I understand she gets anxious during grooming, which is exactly why I was upfront about her behavior from the beginning. I expected patience, communication, and professionalism--not for my dog to come home injured and with an incomplete groom. I will not be returning. Not only that, but the groomer who worked on my dog was extremely rude and unprofessional, and the owner of the shop allowed the disrespectful behavior. She repeatedly kept telling me my dog was "bad," constantly talked over me, and spoke to me in an aggressive tone when I was simply trying to explain that the additional charge should have been communicated beforehand. They had no problem calling me to ask permission to use a muzzle and informing me there would be an extra charge for that, so they should have shown the same courtesy when they decided to charge me more because two people had to work on my dog. Instead, they waited until I arrived to tell me, which was completely unprofessional and unacceptable. And then they had the nerve to try to charge me $125 for a groom that wasn't even completed. My dog's face wasn't done, she came back with cuts on her ears and face, and she was still wet when they handed her to me. Based on the way the groomer spoke to me--being rude, aggressive, and repeatedly calling my dog "bad"--I left with very little confidence that my dog was treated with the patience and care she deserved. My dog is a sweet, loving 1-year-old Maltipoo who gets anxious during grooming, and I was transparent about that from the very beginning. I expected compassion and professionalism, not poor communication, disrespect, and an incomplete groom. i wouldnt even give a star but i have to!

My wife and I did what any responsible pet parents would do: administered a full‑scale COVID‑era haircut and booked a 9 AM nail‑trim appointment to finish the job. Once the shop opened, we learned the entire operation was being run by one heroic human that morning. One. A whole grooming shop held together by sheer willpower and caffeine. After we explained Sawyer's situation, this absolute saint of a groomer didn't just agree to trim his nails -- she offered to clean him up for a small fee, with the kind of patience and warmth that could calm a tornado. Minutes later, out strutted a brand‑new dog. Freshly trimmed, nails immaculate, tail wagging like he'd just won a beauty pageant. I tipped more than I planned, but honestly, it still wasn't enough. She earned every penny with her kindness, her skill, and that unwavering smile that said, "Yes, I am single‑handedly keeping this place running, and no, you will not see me break." I wish I remembered her name, but I'll never forget the impression she made. She opened the shop on June 6th and represented that establishment with pride, grit, and genuine heart -- a true gem in the grooming world. PHOTO: Sawyer and Reed
