This was such an amazing experience! First off you are greeted with champagne which is unlimited from 10am to 10pm. The restaurant and bars on the premises are amazing. The rooftop and pool vibe was really nice. They also offer free car serving within a 2 mile radius. I loved the rooms decor. This hotel pulled out all the stops and thought about the customer's experience. I will definitely be returning.

Mixed bag - first the gripes, then the good stuff. It's pricey and our king room was of a decent size but not well thought-out: no horizontal surface to write/type and nowhere to sit except for a chaise lounge that just didn't really do it for sitting-upright comfort. Very little storage space. No end tables by the bed, just open shelves. A stupid high-tech bedside Lenovo tablet that appeared to do nothing other than tell the time (had two alarms) and weather - and shine light on you all night long, like it or not. The bed was topped with a pillowtop that felt like someone had stuffed eight inches of cotton balls into a sack - overly soft. Bathroom was a hair too dark (everyone we saw staying here is on the downhill side of what's optimistically called "middle age" - you need more light in the bathroom) for basic getting ready in the morning. Downstairs lobbies were pretty (and crowded) and also had nowhere decent to type. Utterly quiet, though. The quality of the materials used in the construction of the place was terrific; I can see why it's a pricey joint. Pretty decor all over and lovely seating in the public areas. TV worked fine and interfaced well with your electronics from home. Good WiFi throughout the property. Good charging ports found where you'll want them. Good blackout shades. Shower was fantastic. Lots of towels. Good bars on site. Completely, utterly, perfectly clean - and that's _despite_ being a pet-friendly place with heavy doggie presence. And every staff member was friendly and polite and lovely. And to top it off, the perfect location. Too many issues for it to be a five-star at this price point, but it's certainly very nice. So many nice things (especially the staff, cleanliness and location) that I'm sad not to give it five stars. Happy we stayed here at Perry Lane.

Pure class. Greeted with a glass of champagne. Nice touches everywhere. Well stocked mini fridge. Comfortable room. Large bathroom. Tastefully decorated for Christmas season. Walking distance to the waterfront and away from the crowds. Fun cocktail lounge on sight.

I stayed at the Perry Lane Hotel for my 50th birthday. This hotel is run circles around near by hotels. The decor is gorgeous and my hotel room was the perfect backdrop for my birthday stay. Everything was a 10 out of 10! From the rooftop bar The Peregrin, to the unlimited champagne, the Perry Lane Hotel is a must whenever I return to Savannah. The standouts for me was Ms. Reign at the front desk and the valet staff. Ms. Reign was so friendly and welcoming she made my stay comfortable and memorable. The valet staff were very warm and professional. They always retrieved our vehicle quickly.

My stay was perfection from start to finish. Robert greeted us with a glass of champagne and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was amazing. The parlor is a great place to relax and fully equipped with books, aesthetically pleasing board games and a piano. Our room was so cute, impeccably decorated and fully stocked with luxury linens. The upstairs bar is a must visit and has fire pits and heaters on cold nights. The food in the restaurant was really good and they had a great wine list to accompany.

Get ready for a long one LOL! I came to stay at the prestigious Perry Lane Hotel in Savannah,GA for 4 days, as my boyfriend and I decided to come here for a lil baecation. And let me just say, 10/10 across the board from the minute we parked in front of the hotel when we arrived to the minute we bid our farewells. First, let's talk about the decor! I mean, talk about future home inspo. Modern, chic, classic. Their in house restaurant The Emporium has beautiful greenery that is used as decoration throughout the dining room, with a view of their stunning open kitchen. Just gorgeous. Now the customer service. Idk if it's just that the Perry Lane Hotel holds customer service at the fore front, that the employees genuinely love their job, or everyone is just plain nice lols but when I tell you! From the hotel personnel who runs valet, to the concierge, to the bartender in one of their in house bars, to even housekeeping. Everyone is soooooooooo kind. Like unbelievably and genuinely nice, and making sure you are getting the most out of your stay. All hotels, including luxury hotels, will post a blanket mission statement of ensuring that their occupants are satisfied with their stay, but Perry Lane took that and amplified it triple fold. I was tipping generously left and right because I truly felt taken care of. Lastly, let's talk about the small details that I noticed that I think made my stay here that much more enjoyable. At the concierge, they provide free flutes of great quality sparkling wine. Prior to dinner plans, my boyfriend and I would go to the concierge and grab two flutes as a pre dinner drink to enjoy together. In addition, they provide are hotel car service, so if you're going somewhere that is within a 2 mile radius, their driver will pick you up in front of the hotel. Major win for brunch/dinner dates where you don't need to order a Uber (even though downtown Savannah is very walkable). I've attached some videos that I took during my stay, but if you are traveling to Savannah you have to stay at Perry Lane and enjoy all that it has to offer. This hotel will change how you view the hotel stay experience.

Perry Lane Hotel is the classiest hotel in Savannah, matter of fact it reeks of it. When you arrive, you are immediately greeted, your bags are taken care of, and a valet attends to your car as you are treated to a complimentary glass of champagne. The décor of the hotel is totally stunning and everything is flawlessly spotless. Also great is its location makes the downtown areas accessible by foot, though they do provide car service. With three dining and drinking locations, The Emporium Kitchen & Wine Market, The Wayward, and Peregrin, there is plenty to do, and travel from the hotel is rather unnecessary.

Great statues near the hotel and continually get moved around all day.

Fabulous hotel and location. Visited here for the long Labor Day weekend. We could not be more happy. Great location. Walking distance to all the attractions. Even a small market next door if you just want to go grab something. Hotel and staff are amazing. Would highly recommend and will return.

Let's talk…read moreabout a beautiful historic intimate location in the heart of downtown Savannah with the charm and sophisticated architecture that an elegant event would bring. The Room at Common is top notch and believe me there is absolutely nothing common here. Let's give a moment of respect to the Executive Head Chef Shawn and his entire accompanying staff whose impeccable attention to detail in every dish that exited his kitchen demonstrated the depth and ability of everyone who had a hand in slicing, cutting, baking, and curating the most delectable dishes I have found in quite a while. You need an outlandish charcuterie board to get you in the mood to begin the eating festival. The sliders had the perfect texture and the bread was tenderly placed with a delicate sauce. The tomato basil soup in a bread bowl was like heaven. The fried green tomatoes were also a favorite. The short ribs with the smothered collard greens and the cornbread were on an another planet of goodness. You want fresh local oysters on the half shelf pulled from the water only hours ago, well they got you right in house with them lying on ice and a professional shucker right there to serve you with a beautiful smile. Did I mention the dessert bar? Freshly baked cookies, macaroons, mini red velvet cake shooters, lemon puff pastries, mini cheesecakes, and other treats that would leave the sweetest sweet tooth, toothless. The food was Southern, but wound up a notch. It was not boring. It was not common. If you're in Savannah for a work conference or need a place to meet to discuss business with your team, host a holiday party, or have a small wedding reception, do not skip The Room at Common. One thing I appreciate is how attentive the staff is to each guest. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming. You feel as if you're one of the family coming to visit. The cocktails are delicious. The wine selection is fantastic and carefully crafted with an experienced sommelier in house. I'm telling you that you will kick yourself if you don't have you people call Leah Ralph to book your event. The food and drinks will make your folks love you forever!

We were looking for a small, intimate, and beautiful space to host our micro-wedding celebration, and after reaching out to many places in downtown Savannah, The Room at Common stood out immediately. When we did our site visit, it was exactly what we had envisioned and more. The space is beautifully decorated inside a historic Savannah building and offers thoughtful features like a Frame TV for slides or welcome messages, private restrooms, a private bar, and the ability to play your own music (which is rare for a small venue and comes without extra charges). Leah was wonderful to work with throughout the entire process. She responded to our initial inquiry almost immediately, something that really stood out since many other venues took days or even weeks to reply. From the first email to the site visit and all the communication leading up to the event, she was incredibly helpful and reassuring. As someone who works in hospitality and tends to be a bit of a "controller," it meant a lot to feel confident that everything was in good hands. On the day of our celebration, everything was beyond what we imagined. The space looked beautiful, and we were greeted so warmly. Sammy, our server, was attentive and fun, and the bartender was fantastic as well. And the food... absolutely incredible. Every dish exceeded expectations. Our guests are still talking about it weeks later. The oysters were incredibly fresh, the steak was outstanding, and the fried cornbread, fish dip, and cheesecake were unforgettable. A huge thank you to the Executive Chef (who even came out to greet us) and the entire kitchen team. Every member of the team made us feel cared for and ensured we had everything we needed. They truly embody the meaning of Southern hospitality. Thank you all for making our day so special. My husband and I already say that if we ever renew our vows or host another celebration, we'll absolutely be coming back.
