For my birthday, my husband and I took the train from Charleston to Savannah and stayed at the Perry Lane Hotel for the second time. It truly defines luxury. My husband surprised me with flowers waiting in our room, and the hotel made it feel so special. The rooms are beautiful, the beds are incredibly comfortable, and there's a coffee shop and full-service restaurant downstairs. One of my favorite amenities is the stunning rooftop pool with full food and drink service. On the other side, you'll find a rooftop restaurant with breathtaking views of Savannah. it's the perfect place to relax. Most attractions are within walking distance, and the hotel even offers complimentary transportation within a 2-mile radius. We had the best night away possible. From the friendly welcome by the Valet to the front desk champagne welcome. We were pleasantly surprised by the southern hospitality. When we got to our room we discovered we had been upgraded for my birthday. It was a beautiful corner suite on the 4th floor. We loved the story of Adalaide and the story she shares of her travels throughout the hotel. It's conveniently located in Downtown Savanna - walking is a great option. Although they have bicycles available for guests to use, or a driver to take you within a 2 mile radius of the hotel. Such nice amenities. We really enjoyed the Perigrine Rooftop bar. My husband and I did a staycation for our anniversary and loved the Perry Lane. Being locals, we have been to Peregrin many times & wanted to experience the hotel. We checked in on Friday & were offered sparkling wine upon arrival. The bell hop was very helpful with our bags. The room we stayed in was very nice & spacious. We had our dog with us, which I loved the hotel was dog friendly, and she loved having ample room to move around. The staff had macaroons & wine waiting in our room to celebrate our anniversary. One thing that made me love the hotel was how great the staff was & the attention to detail. We had breakfast downstairs one morning at Emporium, and it was great. Their brown sugar shaken espresso is nicely done. I'd highly recommend a stay here if you're looking for an upscale hotel that pays attention to detail. read more

Mixed bag - first the gripes, then the good stuff. It's pricey and our king room was of a decent size but not well thought-out: no horizontal surface to write/type and nowhere to sit except for a chaise lounge that just didn't really do it for sitting-upright comfort. Very little storage space. No end tables by the bed, just open shelves. A stupid high-tech bedside Lenovo tablet that appeared to do nothing other than tell the time (had two alarms) and weather - and shine light on you all night long, like it or not. The bed was topped with a pillowtop that felt like someone had stuffed eight inches of cotton balls into a sack - overly soft. Bathroom was a hair too dark (everyone we saw staying here is on the downhill side of what's optimistically called "middle age" - you need more light in the bathroom) for basic getting ready in the morning. Downstairs lobbies were pretty (and crowded) and also had nowhere decent to type. Utterly quiet, though. The quality of the materials used in the construction of the place was terrific; I can see why it's a pricey joint. Pretty decor all over and lovely seating in the public areas. TV worked fine and interfaced well with your electronics from home. Good WiFi throughout the property. Good charging ports found where you'll want them. Good blackout shades. Shower was fantastic. Lots of towels. Good bars on site. Completely, utterly, perfectly clean - and that's _despite_ being a pet-friendly place with heavy doggie presence. And every staff member was friendly and polite and lovely. And to top it off, the perfect location. Too many issues for it to be a five-star at this price point, but it's certainly very nice. So many nice things (especially the staff, cleanliness and location) that I'm sad not to give it five stars. Happy we stayed here at Perry Lane. read more

Everything was a 10 out of 10! From the rooftop bar The Peregrin, to the unlimited champagne, the Perry Lane Hotel is a must whenever I return to Savannah. The standouts for me was Ms. Reign at the front desk and the valet staff. Ms. Reign was so friendly and welcoming she made my stay comfortable and memorable. This review is two years overdue, but I have nothing but great things to say about this hotel. The level of service from each team member is impeccable. We stayed here as a family for my cousin's wedding in February of 2023. The hotel is exemplary on every level. They came to the rescue on more than one occasion whether it was getting us from point A to B, helping glue a heel back on right before a wedding, or keeping our then 6 year-old daughter entertained. One of the most beautiful hotels I've stayed at. We were greeted right away by valet. The hotel lobby was beautifully decorated for Christmas. One of the perks staying here is free sparkling wine (forgot the exact time though). Checking in was a breeze and they explained all the amenities offered. Our room was very nice and spacious. The bathroom was a dream! They offer Byredo products, which happens to be one of my faves. We did use their fitness center (not too big but had everything we needed). The roof top bar (was awarded as Savannah's best) offered plenty of seating but wish there were bartenders as service was a bit slow). You will also run into guests not staying at the hotel going to the rooftop bar and sharing the elevator with them. Some people are rowdy, so if you don't mind tha then this hotel is for you. Housekeeping did clean our room and gave us fresh towels, I wish they didn't move things around. Our luggages were set on the bench at the foot of the bed and had some bags on the floor, but when we returned everything was shifted. They even placed a towel on the bathroom sink where we put our toiletries. It's little things like that make me feel funny. Also, our TV felt like it was on "sleep mode". The screen wasn't completely blacked out and I wished I brought an eye mask since I like my surroundings completely dark when I sleep. Other than that, beds are pretty comfortable. This review is for the atrocious valet service they provide. Requested my vehicle well in advance knowing it's early in the morning, but still took an absurd amount of time after I followed up with the front desk. The guest relations gentleman called them on speaker and asked where my vehicle was and the valet guy just said " I told him he's been waiting " unknowingly that he was on speaker. Understand that no one else is waiting for their vehicle. 30+ minutes for the vehicle to show up. This happened multiple occasions on the same visit. Also was locked out of the room due to electronic lock running out of battery, took 30 minutes for the maintenance gentleman to show up. Just a series of bad events that was irritating. read more

Get ready for a long one LOL! I came to stay at the prestigious Perry Lane Hotel in Savannah,GA for 4 days, as my boyfriend and I decided to come here for a lil baecation. And let me just say, 10/10 across the board from the minute we parked in front of the hotel when we arrived to the minute we bid our farewells. First, let's talk about the decor! I mean, talk about future home inspo. Modern, chic, classic. Their in house restaurant The Emporium has beautiful greenery that is used as decoration throughout the dining room, with a view of their stunning open kitchen. Just gorgeous. Now the customer service. Idk if it's just that the Perry Lane Hotel holds customer service at the fore front, that the employees genuinely love their job, or everyone is just plain nice lols but when I tell you! From the hotel personnel who runs valet, to the concierge, to the bartender in one of their in house bars, to even housekeeping. Everyone is soooooooooo kind. Like unbelievably and genuinely nice, and making sure you are getting the most out of your stay. All hotels, including luxury hotels, will post a blanket mission statement of ensuring that their occupants are satisfied with their stay, but Perry Lane took that and amplified it triple fold. I was tipping generously left and right because I truly felt taken care of. Lastly, let's talk about the small details that I noticed that I think made my stay here that much more enjoyable. At the concierge, they provide free flutes of great quality sparkling wine. Prior to dinner plans, my boyfriend and I would go to the concierge and grab two flutes as a pre dinner drink to enjoy together. In addition, they provide are hotel car service, so if you're going somewhere that is within a 2 mile radius, their driver will pick you up in front of the hotel. Major win for brunch/dinner dates where you don't need to order a Uber (even though downtown Savannah is very walkable). I've attached some videos that I took during my stay, but if you are traveling to Savannah you have to stay at Perry Lane and enjoy all that it has to offer. We love Perry Lane Hotel for all of our trips to Savannah! They offer free champagne in the lobby during the entire stay & they'll give you a to-go cup if you want to take your champagne on a walk around the city! The location is very close to lots of cool restaurants, bars, shops, etc. We also love taking advantage of their free car service which will drop you off and pick you up from most places in the area (the only cost was just a tip for the driver). Also, Randy at the concierge gives the best advice! Because of him we got to experience some of the coolest cocktail bars in the city!! We'll definitely be back! read more

When you arrive, you are immediately greeted, your bags are taken care of, and a valet attends to your car as you are treated to a complimentary glass of champagne. As a luxury wedding photographer, the Perry Lane Hotel is one of my favorite wedding venues. The luxury of the hotel is unlike any other in Savannah and the location is perfect for taking advantage of the beauty of Savannah for photos. The rooms in the hotel are large, luxurious and photograph beautifully as the wedding party gets ready. The library is my favorite room with the large windows, filtered light and just-perfect asthetic The bar is a also a fun place to take the groom for some photographs with his dad or best-man! While all of the spaces in the Perry Lane are stunning, they really know how to put together a wedding celebration. Cocktail hour on the roof with views of the city leads to the ballroom ready for an epic night of celebration. As the sun sets, it lights up the tower of St. John's Cathedral creating a stunning photo opportunity for the bride and groom. The staff of the Perry Lane are exceptional and work hard to create an impeccable evening. I enjoy working with them and seeing how they make the dreams of so many couples come true! Loved it! Every single one of the staff was lovely, aside from one bartender on the rooftop. I love that they offer water and champagne at the front desk. It's a really nice touch after traveling, and just to feel a little fancy! The entire hotel is gorgeously decorated, every little detail is wonderful. I appreciate the second door to the bathroom as well. They also have ipads in the rooms, easy to communicate with the front desk and play music too! I loved that feature. The valet really stood out to me honestly. They were courtesy, friendly but not rushed or unprofessional. They have been the best valet I have had in a very, VERY long time. The hotel also offers a car to pick you up and drop you off around a small radius of town. This was super helpful but be prepared to wait a little to use on the weekend. Second time staying at the Perry Lane. They have a $32 resort fee - which includes medium coffee daily, unlimited champagne (which may be sparking wine, I didn't check the label), waters, a free cocktail from 5-530 (didn't try) and car service within 2 miles. So to make up that $32, you may wish to get the champagne and cocktail and coffee! We arrived early and unlike others arriving early, did not get our room early. We were offered champagne though?! There were a lot of parties checking out late which crowded the entry with suitcases and bags which was chaotic. Room was in the pool/restaurant side and was comfortable and well appointed. Molton Brown toiletries. Mini bar. No fridge, just minibar fridge. Stopped by the pool for a quick dip / champagne was being passed around - nice touch. Kid in pool (teeny dipping pool) with a floaty - not so bueno. Rooftop bar had someone pouring tastes of Woodford Reserve - that was a nice unexpected offering. Grabbed a coffee in the morning upon departure (doors open at 7-705) - it was hot and tasty! read more

Wow, once you've stayed at the Perry Lane, nothing really compares. This was definitely one of the most wonderful hotel stays I've ever had. It comes with a hefty price tag, but I can honestly say, it is worth treating yourself every once in awhile. It was centrally located to everything we wanted to see (all within a 15-20 min walk). I visited Savannah for a girls trip and a wedding happening at the Perry Lane. The interior design and all of the event spaces in this hotel are just gorgeous. The minute you pull up to the valet, you experience superior customer service and a very friendly staff. I literally didn't have to lift my suitcase at all from the moment I arrived to the moment I left because they take care of your bags for you. Also, hello, they greet you with a complimentary glass of champagne and the free bubbles kept flowing all weekend. That's right -- they serve complimentary champagne and rose for their guests in the lobby from 11am-11pm every day. There is also a daily happy hour in the bar from 5-6pm with complimentary craft cocktails. Our room was a good size for 4 ladies and that was probably the best & hottest shower I've ever had (that water pressure tho). My only gripe about the room is that the mini fridge is fully stocked with (very expensive) beverages you have to purchase, and there's no space for your own drinks or food leftovers like we had. There is a cafe/coffee bar as well as a restaurant (Emporium Kitchen) inside one of the hotel towers and a cocktail lounge in the other. This hotel does not offer self-parking -- valet only ($49/night). They are also pet friendly if you like to travel with your fur babies! read more

The bad: When I first arrived there were no Valets to be found. It became very awkward as I wasn't sure if I should leave my vehicle or not. Then there was a car behind me that was trying to leave. I had to jump back in my vehicle to try a get out of their way. The roadway was very narrow and the whole thing became a hassle. Not the best way to start off our trip. We finally found a Valet who walked right past me. I guess I didn't look desperate enough. Anyhow I gave him our key and took care of us like any other hotel Valet. Been treated better at Arby's. Then there was the shower. It leaked a lot when taking a shower. Our bathroom floor was covered in water. Had to shower with towels covering the bottom of the shower window and door. We did this for a few days and it got out of control so decided to call the front desk. The good: The manager called me the very next day to try and figure out a way to make sure I was happy and not forgotten (regarding the Valet service). She offered to buy us lunch, etc. I appreciated the call very much. The front desk sent a maintenance person to our room right away and the sealed off the opening at the bottom of the shower window. There was still a leak under the shower door but we appreciated the attempt. The verdict. I still say it was a great hotel. No place is perfect. It was our 10 year anniversary so I really wanted everything to be perfect for my wife. The attempt to try and fix our issues was much appreciated. One of the most hospitable places to stay! I had the pleasure of staying at the hotel overnight while attending a meeting. Upon check in, the welcome was quite pleasant, offered sparkling water or champagne. The amenities were explained in detail, I had a package delivered and to my surprise it was already in my room. Received a call from the front desk to ensure the package was in my room. I wish my stay was longer but rest assured when I am back in Savannah I will be back at this hotel. I've been booking multiple rooms in this Hotel since it opened and stay there multiple times each year since, always my favourite but watch out for recent management (at least she said she was the manager) - I prepaid for 3 rooms and when I returned home, found that they charged me thousands in additional costs, the woman who claimed to be the manager would not say what the charges were for, but just 'additional' charges and asked 'have you ever stayed in a hotel before?' I could not get an answer but the charges were removed - it's a beautiful hotel, great location, fantastic rooms, but the staff .... not so nice. We were supposed to be boating to a tropical island via boat from Florida with a group of other boaters and then Covid. So, we thought we would take a boat to Savannah and check that out for a future boating group getaway and then the storm, so we decided to drive. I checked out properties once the boat was out and chose Perry Lane based on everything I read. It did not disappoint! It is a very nice hotel. We were immediately met by Pops that I had read about on so many sites. He warmly greeted us, unpacked our car, put our luggage on a cart and delivered us to our room all the while talking to us about the hotel and the history. He then went and parked our car in their valet lot. At check in, you are offered champagne and you can come back there and get it as often as you want. Nice touch. We chose a larger king suite and it was so nice. The bedding was amazing and my husband and I never agree on bedding but here we did. We have a nice view out over the city. The bathroom was plenty large and the shower pressure was amazing. They provided robes, an umbrella, slippers, really nice body products and simple things like Qtips, cotton balls, makeup wipes, mending kits. The towels were very plush. The room had a nice sofa for lounging, a mini bar some shelving and a table and a nightstand on each of the bed. The room seemed very clean. We went up to the rooftop bar each night named Peregrin to start happy hour. They had some great craft cocktails but I will warn you it is so hot up there during the brutal summer months, I think I would wait until fall for another trip up there. They do have a small pool and game area but we did not utilize that, They have a restaurant and a bar in each tower and then like a market area to get things to go. We did not use either, We did take advantage of the car service that will take you to any restaurant, location, etc within 2 miles of the hotel. It is first come first serve so we had to wait a few times but it wasn't bad. It is complimentary, so we just made to have a cash tip for the driver on each ride. That was a nice plus since parking is difficult in downtown Savannah. The hotel is truly beautiful and seems more upscale than others in the city. We will come back. read more

The Perry Lane is a wonderful place to stay if you want to experience actual Southern hospitality. The staff will go above and beyond to make your stay as memorable as possibility. The rooms are modern and clean. The coffee bar provides free Cold brew coffee for guests staying at the hotel and when you check-in there is champagne available to wet your "whistle". Stop by the Emporium for a delicious breakfast and then the rooftop bar for fantastic views of the city and delicious international tapas. One of the best amenities is that this hotel caters to dogs. If you advise the hotel you are checking in with your "fur baby", the staff will supply you with a bed, 2 bowls, a place mat and a goody bag with cookies from Oliver and Bentley. My wife and I went to Savannah for the first time. Found the hotel on a best weekend get away list and we are glad we did. While our first night was a bit rough as they had over sold the hotel rooms due to 3 different parties, they happily put us up for the evening at another hotel. Due to the issue, the front desk manager Elisa was awesome. She made things right based on the first night experience by ensuring the last 2 nights were great. Cheese plate in the room and helped get a dinner reservation for us the last night we were there. Loved the hotel and it was so close to everything.
