Easy parking heading south on 17. Small store. Nice selection of flavors. You can buy various delicious cream cheese mixtures, Refrigerator with other products including drinks, Great friendly service. The best bagels! Proper chew to the bagel with great exterior texture. I'm from Virginia and we stop in here and pick up a dozen to take home. read more

Solid and affordable! Had a Taylor ham egg and cheese on a egg bagel and got a bad boy (poppy and onion) bagel to go which was pretty good. They also sell flagel and mini bagels. Right on rt17 in a strip mall, can easily find parking and wasn't too crazy in there. I was in and out within fifteen minutes with great service. read more

I came in this morning hoping for a good start to my day with a bagel, but unfortunately the experience was very disappointing. When I was trying to place my order, the staff were hiding behind the counter and looking at each other through the glass instead of acknowledging me. It felt uncomfortable because I like to look someone in the eye out of respect, but instead I got side-eye. After ordering, I was asked to pay. There was already a brown bag in front of me, so I assumed it was mine. When I reached for it, the bag was suddenly snatched right out of my hand without a single word of explanation. I stood there in shock, and about 5 minutes later my actual order was finally ready. On top of that, I had asked for pepper on my sandwich and it wasn't included. A little courtesy, communication, and attention to detail go a long way;unfortunately this interaction came across as rude and dismissive, and it completely overshadowed the food. I will not be returning. read more

I unfortunately didn't get a photo of my bagel but this place is undoubtedly a 5/5 stars! It was my first time trying this little bagel shop in New Jersey, and my family friends actually took me here so I could try their favorite place out and I could not have been happier/grateful! My friend ordered me a Taylor Ham, Egg, Hashbrown, and Cheese with Scallion Cream Cheese on an everything bagel and I absolutely DEVOURED my food on the way into the city! The bagels were so warm and savory & it does get a little messy eating, but it was so worth it! Definitely give this place a try if you're in town; the staff was wonderful & their food was even better! read more

Let me start with the positives and trust me there are a lot of them. It has an easy access on and off of Route 17 and lots of parking. Next, the staff is attentive and quick. The place accepts credit cards and has a fridges full of lots of drink options and also have coffee, tea and iced coffee and iced tea. Now on to what makes it a 4 as opposed to a 5 star rating. I ordered a taylor egg and cheese on a toasted everything with salt pepper and ketchup. Or as I call it a TECTESPK. The taylor ham was limp and not crisp, barely cooked through. The egg was brown and over cooked. I will give them another chance; however, it is a simple order that they got correct but did not cook it properly. read more

Right on route 17 where there is a bagel shop every half mile. I stopped at this one because I was starving and needed some breakfast. There isn't much decor in here which isn't a bad thing. They have crates of bagels and cold cuts. The chicken salad looked good since I love when they use big chunks of chicken. I can't stand when the chicken salad looks like it was made in a blender. I had it on everything bagel and it was beautiful. My wife had the plain bagel with strawberry cream cheese and it was also good. One thing I will get next time is the chocolate crumb cake. Looked awesome. I'm not sure this is a destination bagel shop but you can't go wrong here. Great chicken salad. read more

I've been on a hunt for great bagels in Northern Jersey and so far this is one of the best. Perry consistently satisfies my bacon, egg and cheese cravings. The bagel is just soft and chewy enough that it doesn't taste like weighed down bread. They definitely don't skimp out on the melted cheesiness either. Bacon is crispy and on point. Before leaving New Jersey, we had to grab some bagel sandwiches and Perry's is the real deal. They were still warm! I got a Taylor ham, egg and cheese on an everything bagel and it was heavenly. Their bagels are so soft and delicious. I wish I could eat one every day! Also appreciate the love and care they put into constructing their sandwiches. So yummy. Awesome service! Great spot. Stopped by here to pick up a dozen bagels one morning and it's was quite fresh! Baker's dozen bagels assortment was $10.80; I got a selection of everything, cinnamon raisin and poppy. The everything bagel wasn't as loaded as I'd like but it was soft and fresh. I'm not sure if I forgot to mention to slice bagels but otherwise I would've appreciated if they did that. They only take cash but service is friendly and quick in/out. Plentiful parking as well. read more

Gotta love Perry and his crew! This is a crowded area of rt 17 on both sides for bagel spots but Perry's is the best and worth the U turn if need be. For friendliness , value and most importantly, the taste, Perry's cannot be beaten. They make the breakfast sandwiches exactlyyyy how you need them. They're perfect every time. Yum !!!! Perry's is open during the quarantine and they're not disappointing. I got a bacon egg and cheese on a sesame bagel for takeout and it was still hot and fresh when I got home. First and last time going here. For their over priced breakfast sandwich they couldn't get my simple order correct the first time. I had to take 2 u turns to get onto the correct side of the highway again to get cheese, salt, pepper and ketchup put on my sandwich and they handed it back to me with a cold slice of cheese just slapped on top of it. Sorry, no picture. Came here for breakfast around 7 am and ordered a cinnamon raisin with chive cream cheese. I was already prepared for the worse as my bagel wasn't even warm. At 7 am your bagels absolutely need to be hot and fresh! Sadly, this wasn't the case. The cream cheese wasn't spoiled but wasn't the freshest, long story short, I ended up getting sick from this place. Never again. read more

Finally a deli that makes my particular breakfast sandwich the right way. Yes I'm fussy when I order a Wrap with Two egg whites One egg with crispy Taylor Ham some hash browns topped off with a bit of Roasted pepper and salt pepper ketchup. This spot really is a hidden gem. I got the everything bagel with cheese and egg. I also got a hash brown on the side, which admittedly I ended up putting on my bagel as well. The coffee is made perfectly too! The egg in the bagel was nice and fluffy and the cheesy was melted perfection. There is a $10 credit card minimum so keep that in mind if you're just stopping in for a bagel for yourself. There are plenty of bagels to choose from. The staff is very friendly even when they have a huge line of people. Around 8am is busy in the store. I work right next door but try to get to work early so I have time to have a delicious bagel before I start my day. read more

The best part of ordering was seeing the fresh masa and tortilla press right behind the counter, a reassurance that these tortillas would be as fresh as one can get. And they were. Not only that, the meats inside them were incredible. We tried the birria, carne asada, crispy fish, and smoked chicken, all of which were conversation-silencing delicious. I'm also not a bit embarrassed to admit I sipped straight from the small cup of that rich consommé that's meant as a dipping broth for the birria tacos. If I had to pick a least favorite from the bunch, it would be the smoked chicken, but that's not to say they were bad; the other ones just blew me away far more. The chicken tacos were packed with tender meat and redolent of smoked wood, a flavor I wouldn't have expected to encounter in the middle of a shopping mall. Most of the restaurant space seems to be reserved for the ordering and food prep area, but there's a decently sized seating area right outside the restaurant and even more places to sit a little further away from Carlito's if the tables are full.
