The bathrooms are slightly cleaner than the average public course. It's easy to make a reservation online and the prices are very fair for the market and overall experience. The only drawbacks for me are the background noise from the adjacent streets and the lack of overall aesthetics in terms of visual presentation. If you're looking for a laid back gold experience that won't break the bank or take too much of your day, this is your place. They were significantly slowing down the pace of play for everybody and the two groups behind us caught up to us. Also, that's something that should've been mentioned in the clubhouse before the round started. We paid good money to come play and not deal with this. A notice would've fixed the problem. Also taking to consideration we're playing on punched greens, which again was not announced.

You may feel like a mountain goat after your round. Friendly and approachable. The owner is a former Progress Downs Pro from Beaverton. I didn't know him, but recognized the name. He was busy, shop and amenities were closed for COVID. They did offer beers and snacks though, for purchase. There's one spot, with a bit of a blind shot and you gotta ring a bell to let the group behind you - "okay to tee off" Look up and you may see some skydivers descending.

The rules seem to be "be cool" and you're good. There is a nice place to eat and drink beers. Carts are older, but appear to be in fine shape. What a chill place. I bet this group gets wild. Not the corporate type. I like that.

Keeping pace the entire round and guess how many times the PA/Marshall came to talk to us? THREE TIMES! 1 time is plenty, 2 times is fine, 3 is ridiculous. And the Marshall that stopped us the third time literally wouldn't stop talking for like five minutes about how we need to pick it up and now I'm thinking to myself is if you want us to play faster maybe you should stop talking to us.. by that time we group behind us was not waiting, and they hadn't been waiting for the majority of the round except the first three holes when we were getting our momentum going for the start of the round. And this lady comes up to us on hole 14 and tries to tell us that we're 30 minutes behind haha, laughable. You were perfectly on pace and she said " well it says here on the sheet that technically you guys are 30 minutes behind", I just laughed and told her we're good and she wouldn't stop yapping. I almost called the golf shop right then to complain but I resisted.

They usually have drink carts circulating the course on the weekends so you can savor a cold one while you try not to embarrass yourself against your friend's best efforts. My favorite part of the course is actually trying to find shanked balls in the blackberry bushes that serve as the boundaries for the course. Normally, it's a win if I can walk away with more balls than I started. The views are quite wonderful, especially on the 20 hole course. And if you're a passport holder, this is an essential experience that is much cheaper than the counterpart over on the course... this is your choice if you're not stress about performance and you're on the quest for legit fun.
