My experience at Pro Cleaners (on Bellevue in Richmond Heights) has been nothing short of wonderful, and I've been a customer since they first opened. Dry cleaning, or I should say GOOD dry cleaning, is expensive, but I find the prices at Pro Cleaners to be very reasonable for the quality service they provide. And, just recently, I asked about alterations, and the shop did a perfect alteration on a pair of trousers for only $20. I never pick up my items on time, and they never get irritable with me for taking up space on their racks, and the people who work here are always kind and friendly. What's not to like?

However this last time I brought it in to be cleaned the very white rug came back in worse condition than when I brought it in. The edges were frayed and the white rug was stained yellow. It also had silver detailing that was completely scrubbed off the rug. Instead of standing behind their mistake and screw up they declined to replace the rug even though they should have after THEY were the ones who completely destroyed it. He specifically chose Pleats because their website says they are open on Saturdays from 10am - 2pm, and he knew he would need to pick up the suit the same day as the wedding (on a Saturday) because we had been out of town. Their website AND Google listing said they were open on Saturdays. Lo and behold, he gets there Saturday morning at 10am sharp, and they are closed. Multiple other people arrived to drop off clothes because they were also under the impression that they were open. My husband ended up having to go to three suit stores to try to find a similar suit (he was a groomsman) and spent $350 on a new suit. The suit did not match perfectly and he looks out of place in the wedding photos. He also missed the groomsmen lunch. It was an extremely stressful morning to say the least. I also looked at the reviews, and the owner was aware that the site is incorrect and didn't bother to change it! It has been a month since this occurred, and the hours are still not updated. We contacted the store, and they said that the hours are correct on desktop, but not on mobile devices. I would say that the majority of people looking into the hours for a store are probably doing so on their phone. We requested a reimbursement for the suit and they declined. Horrible, horrible service, especially considering they knew their hours were misrepresented before this even happened to us and they had an opportunity to correct them. I explained how disappointed I was because when I dropped off the garments, there was no mention about having to replace the fabric of the belt loops or completely altering the back of the skirt where the zipper was. She asked what she could do to make it right. I could tell she really cares about her business and customers, as well as the quality of work they produce. I explained that there wasn't much because of how altered they both were but instead, to make sure her parents fully understood what the customer was wanting and not to be afraid to say no if they couldn't actually do it. She agreed and again, couldn't have been more apologetic. This was a learning lesson for both parties and I know how to move forward. In the beginning, she asked if she could give me a refund. I declined at first because I wasn't seeking one but instead, was really hoping something could be done about my clothes. After a few phone calls, I decided I'd go ahead and take it. Prior to this, It had been a while since I've brought something to them but because this was handled so professionally, I'll continue using them but for dry cleaning only. I was looking for a place to clean and package up my wife's wedding dress as an anniversary gift to…read moreher. I came across this place when I was googling. The dress was pretty clean but the bottom was pretty dirty from our outdoor wedding. Their service was excellent. They got it cleaned and packaged up in box within two weeks of dropping it off there. The communication they provided was excellent. They even sent a text message when the dress was ready for pickup. The quality of work was well worth the cost. The dress cleaning and preservation was $260 then they offered two size boxes. The medium box was $80 and the large box was $100. My wife's dress luckily fit into a medium box so I walked away with an out the door price of $360. I was not aware until I picked it up that the box I purchased came with a window so that you could still see the dress while keeping it packaged up and looking nice! I would highly recommend this place for all your dry cleaning needs and especially if you're looking to have your wedding dress preserved. My rating : BEST
