Ok. They removed my trees. They put a whole in my garage wall, and covered it up with putty and paint. Still looks really bad. Also promised to remove the stump with a stump grinder. They did not do a good job becuase my tree is growing back. Owner told me to call him if this happened. Tried calling him, but never showed when he said he would. Now that he knows my number, he is ignoring my phone calls. It has now been a couple weeks with no phone call, and about 10 ignored phone calls. I am at a major loss here yelp community. The roots are continueing to grow and destroy the concrete in the front of the house. They may be ok at trimming trees, but their tree removal has been a nightmare. read more

Personalized Tree Service pruned and laced three 60-80 foot pine trees in the corner of my lot. On the date and time to provide the service 6 men and the owner's son showed up along with a commercial wood chipper. The job took only 2.5 hours. Cut branches landed in all three adjacent neighbor's yards. Personalized Tree Service removed all fallen branches, raked, swept and blew clean all four yards. I was quite impressed w/the job done by Personalized Tree Service-I set up an appointment w/the owner Joe and his son Eric promptly came out to provide a bid. I didn't have to wait weeks or even a week for the appointment and bid. A crew of about 6 congenial individuals arrived at the stated time, they thoroughly trimmed an Allepo Pine that was about 50 feet tall and almost as wide. I was quite concerned w/the branches falling and damaging the structure and/or old wooden fence-I was impressed at how careful they were on making sure that didn't happen. I had 3 trees removed and some pruning of a large tree. I was nervous about the removal of large trees that were close up to my house. These guys were very professional and had all the right equipment for the job. I worked primarily with Eric. He was responsive to calls and came to my home more than once for different quotes. He was great to work with. Eric and his team arrived at 7am and answered remaining questions and concerns before the work began. They all worked well together to get the job done quickly. Their license and insurance was all provided upfront without me asking for it and they had the best price from several quotes I received. Two of my neighbors have used them as well. We had an enormous tree in a very small yard that had to be completely cut down. Hard to access due to the complex structure but Joe's team got in done in only a few hours. They did it safely, too which was a big concern because of the close quarters. They clean up beautifully, removed all of the tree debris and there wasn't a single bit of damage to the surrounding area. Real pros! And they did it the same day as the estimate. ***They just called back weeks later to tell me that I never paid them when I gave the owner a check and it went through. Apparently they don't have their billing correct either***My personal experience with this company wasn't the most professional. First, I called them to have 3 bushes removed in my backyard and on the side of the house. The owners son came out to give me a quote which was a great price, so I hired them. Then his partner said they couldn't remove the bushes unless the flower bed was removed, so they gave me another quote and I agreed. They promised to come back the next day to start the work but nobody showed up. I called he owner and he didn't know anything about my job. Finally after a few hours, they show up and start to rip stuff out and the flower bed. They only worked for an hour and decided to come back 3 days later to finish the job. Then the owner came out 3 days later and told me he couldn't remove the flower bed AFTER they already ripped the top layer of brick and leaving exposed rebar wire which is really unsafe. They left my backyard a mess and hauled nothing away that they promised to take. I wouldn't do business with this company again. read more

When I called to inquire they admitted that they were too busy and were not interested in completing my project. Lack of professionalism is typically indicative of poor quality work. After getting several quotes to remove twin King Palm trees, I chose to have PTS cut the palms down and stump grind the roots. They did an excellent job, at a very competitive price. We bartered a lower price and in return the work would be performed on the same day as the quote. Prior to agreeing on their service, I checked out their business license, BBB rating, insurance, and reviews on Home Advisors. Everything checked out. They cleaned up the mess and removed all frowns and remnants. I am very happy with their work and professionalism and will use them again should the occasion arise. read more

Personalized Tree Service did a great Job. I got 6 estimates and they were the most inexpensive and did such a fabulous job. They were very professional and efficient, had all the right tools. They cut down a large Coral Tree, in my front yard. They were very careful, making sure by using ropes and the way they cut the tree branches so that they did not fall on my roof nor hurt any of the lighting fixtures in my yard.They did a very thorough job of clean up. After receiving 4 estimates to remove 2 pine trees (~60 foot each) and thin out 2 pines in our backyard, I chose Personalized Tree Service (PTS) to do the job. I worked with Eric who was responsive, professional, knowledgeable (a trained arborist) and competitively priced for the job I wanted done. One primary condition I had was that the utmost care would have to be taken so my entire back hill landscaped with succulents underneath these towering pines would not be torn apart during the course of this work. This meant roping down limbs and trunk sections in a controlled manner. Eric and his team understood this and were up to the challenge. Ours was a big job that they performed in an excellent manner and with a successful outcome. We were and continue to be pleased with the results! After several local tree service estimates I decided to go with PTS because of their expertise and knowledge of what I was asking for and wanted done. More importantly their prize beat all the other estimates I had, plus they are licensed and insured, which is a must for me. They did exactly what I asked for and left my backyard super clean after the job was done. The supervisor was present before and after the job. I've used them twice in the past to trim my pine tree and have been very satisfied with the owner Jose and the service provided...until this year. I called to get my pine tree trimmed again, expecting the same or similar price as a loyal customer. I was told that Jose has retired and is no longer running the business, and that his son Eric is now in charge. Spoke to Eric personally and was given 30% higher price than before. I was not happy with the increase, but still agreed to it, as I had no time to look around for a better price. On the day the trimming was supposed to be done, no one showed up. I called Eric and he rudely said that they can't complete the service unless I pay 50% more than the price I've paid in the past for the same service!!! What a crook!!! He'll will ruin his father's business in no time! Be aware that the estimate Eric gives you is most likely overpriced, but if you still decide to accept it, have it in writing to be able to hold him accountable or better yet shop around for an honest company! read more
