My husband walked over to a gentleman working on a forklift to let him know what we were looking for and ask him where to begin. The gentleman's name was Joe and he dropped everything he was doing to assist us find the type of rocks we were searching for. He helped us take the rocks to be weighed and helped my husband load the rocks into his truck. Joe was very pleasant and made our search easier. I then proceeded to the cashier to pay for the rocks and was welcomed by two friendly cashiers. With all that is going on in today's society, it's pleasant to find a business that still values its customers. Although the weather was crappy, I walked away from Timothy's with a big smile. It was a great reminder that there are still people out there who are willing to go the extra mile to provide exceptional customer service. I've always found the customer service to be good, and if you don't sneak in an exit you will find a greeter able to assist you in most cases. My one negative impression would be their lack of cashiers, they are actively encouraging self checkout. With so many items in inventory it can clog up the process when a few folks are having issues with the register. On the sales floor there does appear to be enough help.
