While waiting to view a house in the Gardena area of Los Angeles we stumbled upon this Peruvian Gem. The waitress only spoke Spanish so I knew the food would be amazing. We were seated and given menus that were beautifully made and easy to read. The waitress took our order and provided us with samples of the house made juice. The food was very good and authentic, you can tell it was genuinely made with love and care.

This place is very nice great service smiles and all. First of dang my food was fireeee I loved the Lomo Saltado great taste juicy and all the cuts of meat they use are awesome and no fat. I enjoyed it heavily. Forget Inka pollo this is my spot now.

Easy parking in the plaza. I have tasted better Lomo Saltado somewhere else. It did not taste as I expected. The employees barely spoke English, which made it hard for non Spanish speaker to order.

Small restaurant located inside a small plaza on Western Ave, sitting capacity is for about 22 people. Music is blasting the place from 2 different angles; the dining area and the kitchen. Large screen playing music like it's karaoke night, sometimes with music videos too. It might be ok for a bar but this place doesn't even sell beer so that's something that was rather confusing to us. Service was very friendly and very polite but I wish they start asking their customers if the noise is too loud or not, so they can make an adjustment, especially when we were the only two customers at that time. We didn't ask because I avoid upsetting anyone who has access to my food, if you know what I mean... ;) Lomo saltado was nicely done, but it was missing some of the flavors one can only get when exposing the stir fry to the flames so it felt rather homemade, but the meat was very tender and the tomatoes were firm so we enjoyed it. We also had the seafood rice, aka arroz con mariscos, which it was nice too but slightly too wet for my liking and it felt more like a paella. Honestly, one of the main reasons behind the few stars has a lot more to do with the level of noise in this place. The food here is not bad at all but it could use a little adjustments here and there. Unfortunately, they're also using styrofoam for their takeout which is banned in many places nowadays.

Absolutely awful service I would like to commence this by stating that I recognize this place is authentic and is true to Peruvian food, however, the service is atrocious. My family and I came here to eat today and although we were kind and understanding that they're busy and didn't rush the waitress to attend us, she had the audacity to tell us to move to accommodate a bigger party DESPITE the fact that we arrive their 20 minutes earlier and didn't even have our order taken. I came here with a friend and we loved their food. Ambiance was pretty quiet since it was just us two for a while. Very clean and lots of nice artwork. Service was quick and our server was very attentive to our requests. The items we ordered were all very tasty. See photos. We also ordered a pitcher of passion fruit juice which was very refreshing. If you want to try some authentic Peruvian food, come try Peru Chicha! Not featured was their El Chupao but it was very filling and delicious.

Me & my fiancé eat at Peruvian restaurants all throughout Southern California, we have never experienced such a negative attitude and vibe from the service. The food was over priced and not even decent but it was his bad attitude taking our order he said "is that it? Are u done?" We ordered the food togo once we detected his negative vibe. He told me to "wait outside"... "I'm walking around right now" never again ! I never even leave reviews but the service here is just all bad! read more

Wow the food here is so good! Much better than some other Peruvian spots we have tried in the South Bay. My favorites were the leche de Tigre and the tallarin de huancaina. The service was also really great. I can't wait to go back and try other dishes! read more

I went back to this place again. The food is amazing but the server I had was horrible!!! I went in (nobody was there) he wouldn't allow me to sit in a table. He told us to wait outside, while we were waiting outside he locked the door. Then he said oh because I was waiting for a bigger party and I needed to clean. (He could've said that before saying I wasn't allow to sit without an explanation) We were there for 3 hours the "big" party never arrived. The food is good. But the server and actually seems like the owner bc I seen his picture. Could do better. Or at least he should educate himself on how to treat his customers! read more

Delicious! I visited with my husband and son. Peru Chicha is authentic and soooo good. We loved our moliente, trio ceviche, aeropuerto, leche asada and alfajores. Rueben was awesome! The restaurant was welcoming, easy parking, clean, the decor reminded me of Peru and the music. I was literally dancing through my whole meal. We definitely added this awesome restaurant to our list of places to always visit when in LA. If you love peruvian food and are in LA definitely check this place out. Hands down the best! My partner and I are very fond of Peruvian food but have been very disappointed with Peruvian restaurants on the west side. We decided to give a try to this recently opened Peruvian restaurant in Gardena. It came highly recommended by native Peruvian. We were greatly impressed by the flavors of the food, it's presentation and the service! We tried causa, fried fish ceviche and huancaina sauce spaghetti with lomo Saltado. We got there recommended by a good friend of my hubby, we were looking for a place to eat a good steak, but wow we were surprised! The service is amazing! Really this two guys have found the perfect balance between great service and great food. We ordered Bistek a Lo Pobre, tallarín verde con bistec, cebiche. Wow everything was so delicious so good! Amazing just cooked to perfection. For desert we had a crema volteada amazing !! I fully recommend this place! Definitely my new favorite place. Give it a chance! read more

Came from San Francisco to the LA area and hands down one of the best Peruvian places I've been to in LA. First off the food was delicious we had "Monstrito" and Ceviche frito and it was so delicious. They also make their Maracuya and Chicha from scratch which is pretty rare to find now a days. I also have to mention the amazing service and how great one of the owners of this restaurant was. Definitely will be coming back!!! read more

They recently reopened this place and it was better prior to the reopen. Was served a dirty glass of ice water multiple times. Ceviche mixto lacked good flavor, was over salted and the fish was not fresh (looked chewed on). The soup my fiance ordered had a single leg, and what appeared to be watered down arroz con pollo. Only reason I would give this place 3 stars is because the chicha morada is good. When they were remodeling my fiance and I stopped by several times because we liked the previous place, what a shame. Do not eat here, much better options for Peruvian in the area. read more

Pretyy darn good. I go to multiple Peruvian restaurants and I think this ones one of the top on my list. It's also a bit more affordable compared to the others. Was sad that they had no green aji but the red aji is called Rocoto. Much spicier so I don't really mess with it. I am also surprised and glad that they have more chifa options rather than just having chaufa. Wonton, the noodles, etc are some options you can find in Peru. read more

This is a small restaurant in a strip mall. I enjoyed my food from here a lot. It is the food I grew up with and was delicious. The ceviche mixto was fresh and had a lot of nice flavors. My husband loved his steak pobre and yuca. The Causa was delicious and was a favorite of my son and husband. I found everything to be very fresh with good quality ingredients. This place was sooo good! Authentic Peruvian food. We came down to El Segundo, looking for a Peruvian spot. I saw ratings were high for this spot and decided to give it a try. Service was amazing. We ordered Chupe and it was delicious. We also ordered lomo saltado and it tasted amazing. Grandma being from Peru agreed with the food being great. Owner is a jerk , that place is super tiny , my food was way too salty and none of them wear face masks how do I know they don't spit in my food when their talking among each other and cooking my food spit goes everywhere they need to wear face mask . I gave them one star so it can let me post but I will never , ever come to this place again I've had much better read more

Discovered this place on YELP. We had a little drive up from Long Beach after a cruise and wanted to stop before we went to LAX. The ceviche here is beyond good. The chunks of fish are huge, and the flavors will fill you with happiness. Great service and a little spot to eat outside, if you prefer. read more

Food was delicious if you are looking for a Peruvian restaurant. Their pan con chicharron is juicy and not greasy. The only Peruvian restaurant that serves Emoliente. Take it from a Peruvian, much better than El Pollo Inka and El Rocoto. A must try. Going back for the ceviche. Also, the owner was very hospitable. Service was nice and friendly. read more
