The restaurant is very busy but the wait wasn't too long at all. The restaurant is open and has lots of seating. The servers work very hard and are very friendly. The shaken beef pho was very good. The beef was tender and flavorful. The broth was clean and well made. One of the best I have had. The summer rolls are nice and refreshing; a great sharing appetizer.

10/10 garlic noodles with shrimp 7/10 garlic noodles with beef (pho meat, not rib eye steak) 10/10 lomo saltado 8.5/10 oxtail fried rice 8/10 phó- good The garlic noodles are heavenly. One of the best lomo saltado's I have ever had, if they are consistent with meat portion. We tried the new Lomita location and it barely had any meat. Will keep going to this location instead. The garlic noodles with beef is kinda plain, they use the pho meat. No seasoning or anything on the meat, I prefer the steak, salmon or shrimp over it. Prices are reasonable for quality and quantity. Portions are huge, expect a wait it's popular for a reason.

My husband, his cousin, and I came to try Nam Kitchen since we saw it ranked #3 on Yelp's Top 100 Places To Eat. We got there around 11:30am on a Saturday and walked right in with no wait, which was a great start. The place was nice and spacious with great decor with lots of plants that gave it a really pleasant vibe. Drinks were a hit across the board - his cousin got the matcha coffee, I had the lychee peachee, and my husband ordered the june lemon and they were all really good! For appetizers, the house chicken wings were the standout and had a great texture from the crunch and flavors! The yuzu pepper pork cheek was good too, though it leaned a little salty toward the end. The golden pear salad wasn't bad, but the only thing is the pears came out pretty thick, and I think thinner slices would've made it even better. For mains, we shared the oxtail fried rice and the ribeye steak garlic noodles. The oxtail fried rice had a really flavorful sauce, though the rice itself came out a bit on the softer side. The ribeye steak garlic noodles were a bit of a mixed bag for us -- the garlic noodles were honestly great, but the steak had a texture that was a little chewier than expected. Service was great as they checked up on us frequently throughout the meal. Portions were huge so we walked out with plenty of leftovers, which is always a win. Worth a try - would come back to explore more of the menu :)

We came here based on a recommendation, and despite high expectations, we were not disappointed! NAM Kitchen is located inside a small plaza / strip mall. Note that parking can get pretty tricky if you don't come early as most of the parking in the surrounding area appears to be permit parking for the apartments and homes. Overall, the food and service were great. Also, the restaurant was clean, including the bathroom, which was a nice bonus. Portion sizes were reasonable which was nice for sharing. They came around often enough to clear the table and top off drinks, but not too often as to feel intrusive. * Pho: I've never seen this before, but they offered unlimited free noodle refills! I definitely ate way too much pho * Ox tail fried rice: Delicious, nothing more to say * Fried crispy shrimp: So good that I ate every part of it (not sure if I was supposed to) * Beef filet: Tasty and cooked well, nice and tender; I would say a highly recommended dish to order * Cucumber salad: Nothing particular memorable, but tasty and refreshing * Chicken wings: Absolutely delicious, a must order * Garlic noodles: VERY strong garlic taste, which is great for a garlic lover like myself (also a bit greasy) The tables were a little close together, but I understand their desire to do this in order to maximize the number of customers they could serve. Also, even though there was a line outside by the time we left, we never felt rushed to eat.

I wasn't surprised when NAM Kitchen was announced as one of yelp's 100 best places to eat. I had the opportunity to visit when I had lunch with a friend and I'm proud to say that was one of my best lunch dates. Drinks - coco matcha and Vietnamese iced latte. I loved my matcha. I didn't know that coconut water works great with matcha. Eats - Lomo Saltado, rib eye steak with noodles, and beef brisket pho. Who knew that I had the best Lomo Saltado here! I've had Lomo in several Peruvian restaurants but I had the best one here. Same is true with the ribeye steak with noodles. So tender, so juicy, so tasty. A must order. Pho which was their specialty was also really good. The place was very busy during lunchtime but service was really quick. I haven't gone back since yelp's announcement but I'm sure, it's gotten a lot busier.

The Pho here is great with the All You Can Eat AYCE Free UNLIMITED Complimentary NOODLE refills. Remember also, they will give you 5% off of your bill if you pay in cash money, not credit cards or digital ePayments, so you can roll that into subsidizing the food, tax and tip with a savings of 5% off. The service is friendly and I feel the sweet spot to come here on a weekend for dinner is 4pm or earlier to avoid the 30-45 min potential wait.

Ribeye Steak Garlic Noodles: Savory, garlicky, and seriously addictive noodles. The Angus ribeye leaned a bit chewy and tough.

Even with less than an hour before closing, we walked into a full house and a crowd of waiters. That's usually a good sign and it definitely delivered! The service was amazing. Super friendly, high energy, and on top of everything. Even during the last call, the team made sure we were taken care of and not rushed. We lucked out with a cozy, spacious booth that made it easy to settle in and enjoy everything. Yuzu Pepper Pork: Thick, tender cuts of pork cheek with a bright citrusy glaze. The peppery, slightly bitter arugula cut through the richness. A well-balanced dish. Ribeye Steak Garlic Noodles: Savory, garlicky, and seriously addictive noodles. The Angus ribeye leaned a bit chewy and tough. We'd rather order the Plain Garlic Noodles. Pho Rib-Bone: Unlimited noodle refills? Say less! The noodles and 2 tender beef rib bones came swimming in a tasty broth. Definitely comforting. Would love to come back and try their House Chicken Wings :)

Why 5 stars? Because the Ribeye Steak Garlic Noodles was one of the best things I ate on my vacation. --- --- --- #3 on Yelp's Top 100 for 2026 and I'm soon taking a trip to the area? You can bet your life on that I was going to visit NAM Kitchen. I almost screwed it up though, as I'd eaten a pretty big, late lunch, and the only opportunity I had to visit NAM Kitchen was for an early dinner that same day. I was driving up from Orange County and headed to a Clippers game, and wasn't going to be able to make it before they closed if I tried post game. But because I am willing to make sacrifices for top 100 eateries, let alone top TEN eateries, I made it happen. As it turns out, the garlic noodles with steak were so utterly amazing that it wasn't even a challenge to eat every bite. Just a few days earlier, I'd had a $62 steak at a restaurant in Houston. And while the steak was enjoyable, I knew I could have bought a steak for $20, grilled it myself, and it would have just as good or better. Contrast that with the steak here, which was top notch, and for HALF the price, on top of a bed of delicious noodles. One caveat: when my wife and I were in Maui a few years ago, we had garlic noodles that were so utterly amazing and always order garlic noodles when we see them on any menu. Unfortunately, we have yet to find anything that comes close to the OG, so maybe we just got ruined by trying the most unique garlic noodles on Earth. But that aside, these noodles were still great and I enjoyed every second of the whole plate. I also really dug my strawberry fizz, which was just sparkling water with strawberry puree: a genius idea. #3 for good reason!

I had a great experience at this Vietnamese-Peruvian fusion restaurant in Gardena! I visited with some friends for a weekend lunch and we enjoyed sharing their tasty and unique dishes. Going down the list of what I tried: - Lychee Peachee: Sweet and refreshing mocktail that paired well with the savory dishes. - Yuzu Pepper Pork Cheek: It was like candied pork coated in a citrusy sauce. - Truffle Fried Rice: One of my favorites here. The rice was perfectly moist, flavorful, and umami. I also liked the Chinese sausage and bacon which provided a nice meatiness to the dish. - Nui Xao Bo (Macaroni with Filet Mignon Beef): I really liked this dish as well. It reminded me of a pasta version of lomo saltado with Vietnamese spices. I enjoyed the chewy macaroni and nicely cooked and tender filet mignon. - Pho Filet Mignon: The pho broth of this was good and I liked the tender and savory beef in the pho. The interior of this restaurant is beautiful and clean. It is a great spot for lunch/brunch with friends and family. The service here was great and all the servers were friendly and attentive. They also have free parking in the plaza shared with other businesses. Overall, I had a great experience here and would come back again!

WOW! I passed by this place 2 days ago and decided to look it up on yelp, I was so impressed by the reviews I had to come try it out. Plenty of parking but can definitely fill up quickly when busy! Ambiance is very clean and modern, we went right before dinner rush and were sat immediately, they had a wait by the time we left even on a weekday. Service was very quick and to the point. We were given our food almost immediately after ordering. They were good with water refills, noodle refills and getting our check as soon as we asked for it. The pho was AMAZING. Broth was rich and flavorful, noodles were al dente, came right out of the packaging for sure. The broth isnt as cilantro forward (which I loved) but if you like cilantro definitely add more. Meat and Noodles were very LARGE portions and the noodle refills are unlimited and complimentary! Noodle refills come out in a bowl with some broth to warm them up! What an amazing touch. Definitely the best pho I've ever had. Absolutely worth the price tag. Will happily recommend to anyone and everyone. Will ABSOLUTELY be coming back.

Great pho place! This place is a great family restaurant with plenty of seating for medium-large groups. The interior is clean and beautiful. staff was friendly and service was fast as well! The food was a bit of a mixed bag, they serve a great variety of Vietnamese food but some items were alot stronger than others. the seasoning on the food was more on the less flavorful side but food recommendations are below! YUZU PORK CHEEK [ 9 / 10 ] - SO GOOD ! It's the perfect salty appetizer with a hint of of a lighter citrus flavor. The chew and bounce is also amazing it's not overly tough. A great choice for appetizer since it also comes with mixed greens BAP XAO SAUTEED CORN [ 4/10 ]- SUPER BIG portion, enough to feed 8+ as an appetizer. My table of 5 could not finish. The cheese two corn ratio was a bit off and the cheese was hard/ did not have the ideal cheese pull effect. The overall dish had little to no flavor to it, not even saltiness. Might be a good dish to order if you have a really large party.SHORT RIB PHO!!!!! [ 8 / 10 ] - Their pho is their strongest dish! so yummy! It's not like the usual umami pho you get, it's almost a little bit sweet. Super addicting and flavorful. The short ribs were SOFT and TENDER! Fell off the bone easily and was delicious. Highly recommend OXTAIL FRIED RICE [ 6 / 10 ] - not a fan of the style of fried rice but thats just preference! The rice mushes together, so if you like those kinds of textures maybe you'll like this dish. With the sauce it has a tangy umami sweetness to it. Can be a bit heavy but pretty good. Kinda dry and has a bit of pot floss texture SALMON GARLIC NOODLES [ 5 / 10 ] - the green sauce was spicy and delicious, its. Must cause the noodles are bland otherwise. It has a spicy kick to it that hits a few seconds after tasting. A bit disappointed in the salmon. The outside is super crispy with I loved and the overall coating and marinade was salty and sweet but the texture was dry. I could taste the ALOT of oil come out of every bite from the smaller salmon piece. COCO MATCHA [ 3 / 10 ] - coconut water didn't really have a coconut taste and matcha taste was absent. Not sweet at all . Kinda flavourless? I would recommend getting other drinks instead UBE COFFEE [ 7 / 10 ] - tasted a bit like oreo. Not overly sweet and coffee taste wasn't too strong. The use cream is the sweetener and mixes very well with the light bitterness of the coffee- Limited free street parking - seating for big and small groups - Bathrooms available

I visited Nam Kitchen for the first time and had a great experience. I ordered the filet mignon pho, and it was really tasty. The broth was rich, and the filet mignon was tender. It was definitely comfort food! I also had the coco coffee, which was so delicious. It's Vietnamese coffee topped with coconut ice cream. The coffee was very creamy, and mixing in the coconut ice cream made it even creamier. I would honestly stop by just to grab this drink to go. My table shared the chicken wings and spicy wontons as appetizers. The chicken wings were really good. They were crispy and well-seasoned, with a sweet glaze that I loved. The spicy wontons were just okay. I also tried a bite of the lomo saltado that my friend ordered, and it was delicious. The portion was huge and definitely enough for two people. Customer service was mediocre, as they weren't very attentive. I also wish the tables were bigger. We were a party of three, and with everything we ordered, it felt pretty cramped.

As soon as we entered we saw a sign saying you had to pay before being seated. Red flag!! Paying before you even had a taste of the food rang alarms in my head. Asking for a tip before service has even been rendered is the most ridiculous thing ever. Alot of places do this and it needs to be changed. Tip after services have been rendered. The workers here at least the 4 that I saw were all extremely young. They looked like they all belong in high school. They were very slow in anything they did. During my whole time here I the resturant the phone kept going off and they ignored it quite a few times. The inside of the resturant nice and clean, no complaints from me. My wife used their bathroom but the door did not lock so I had to stand outside which is annoying and not suitable for any ladies wanting to use the restroom. The food took quite a long time to come out. We sat down for awhile before the appetizers came out. 2 of us got the pho lunch special and it comes with a fried veggie eggroll. It took 15 minutes just to get 2 veggie spring rolls which were fresh and hot. When taking a bite out of them the inside was just mushy veggies and tasted like they were soaked in soy sauce. Then the spring rolls came out and they looked ok. After tasting they were decent. My only complaint about them is there wasn't enough peanut sauce, just a little dish not enough for all of our rolls. My wife ordered the combination fried rice. It came and it looked nice and hot. Upon tasting it for myself it tasted extremely salty. The proteins in it (Chinese sausage, shrimp, chicken) were almost inedible with the exception of the Chinese sausage. The shrimp was extremely over cooked and the chicken was cut thin and wide, like jerky and was just as dry as jerky. My FIL and I ordered the combination pho. The pho was extremely lackluster and was missing some components commonly in combo pho (pho dac biet) it was missing tendon, flank and meatballs (sometimes not always in pho dac biet) The meat to noodle ratio is extremely terrible, had at least 8 bites of noodles left and no more meat. The broth was so bland no flavor at all except for the over abundance of sweetness from the sugar. Being part vietnamese myself I love alot of pho whether its super delicious or just ok. This pho is not even in the "just ok" realm its terrible, its a disgrace to pho everywhere. Even if you are the type to put Hoison/Sriracha in the broth it will not save it. FIL says this place uses to be good but I guess things have changed since his last visit all those years ago. You could pick almost any other pho restaurant and I am 99.99% sure it would be better than here. If you value your time, money, and taste buds please stay clear of this place by any means necessary.
