Hired Alan to come and do the one time treatment, he got there before the appointment time and when I arrived he was already inspecting for evidence of any possible nesting. He didn't find any so the only possible point of access becomes the attic pull down stairs where bugs and spiders follow any draft to enter the home. HORRIBLE. Since the merge it has gone down hill. Quarterly service was due today and pouring rain all day. Guy came to my house from 11:56 am to 12:01 PM - and "performed" my quarterly service. Are we kidding? He had a long pole with a mop on top of it and wiped the front porch ceiling (did not spray a thing on the front porch or windows or by the garage). What am I paying $85 for? He then proceeded to walk along my front lawn while in the down pour pretending to spray, but didn't spray a thing. Unacceptable service and I will be cancelling if they don't resolve this issue. read more

I have been a customer of PTC for 16 years now. Stumbled on their page in yelp and thought to give them a good review they deserved. Very thorough annual inspections, the guy reports any issues with my crawl space (mice, etc) jn addition to termite status. We have not had any termites since an initial treatment, which is good, but I can not comment on how PTC handles this situation as a result. The building selected this company during the construction phase and we have the continual, annual inspection performed. Initially, we were going to change companies after the one year but found the process to be absurb to have a new company come out to respray the entire lot which the builder had paid for which would be a significant increase versus the annual inspection amount due. The company sends different inspectors after the first five years which is fine. All of the inspectors are fine and love that we move things away from the inside of the garage to make their job easier. I do not clean the crawl space so good luck inspecting that area as I will not go in there to check anything out unless I was fully covered and still would be hesitant. The deduction of 1 star is that the expected annual amount due has changed. Ideally, the contract that was established with the builder and then becomes the responsibility of the homeowner who has continual annual inspection process should continue with the same amount as "grandfathered" in to the amount. Of course, if there was a year skipped or something changed such as additions to the property that require more inspections the increase would be understandable. Today, I contacted the office to find out how much the inspection fee is since it changes and the girl assisting me was kind enough to pull the paper file to confirm the amount last year. I called in preparation to have the check payment ready. You can imagine to my surprise after doing business more than ten years that I was able to make a payment via a credit card! Based on personal experience with Pest & Termite Consultants this company provides good customer service at all levels in the organization plus mutual respect with the homeowner. Hopefully, we do not anticipate or worse, encounter termite damage but understand this would be 100% covered since we pay for the annual inspections! read more

I have subscribed to their quarterly service since moving to Holly Springs a couple of years ago. They are very pleasant to work with, explain what they're treating for, and seem to take their time to go a good job. They offer complimentary visits in between the quarterly service if needed. I've had to use that a few times to deal with wasps nests, etc. that have sprung up. They always come out within 1-2 days of calling, do a thorough job and refuse to take a payment for the in between service. I definitely recommend them to anyone in the area, and will continue using them as our pest control company. Always very professional, polite and efficient. When you have are under a contract service with them they come out for free if you have a problem. Had to call due to a ground hornet situation, technician called and came out immediately! Love their technicians and I have no more palmetto bugs on the deck! I called them on Wednesday to request a quote and was told a service tech would call me back. By Friday, I still hadn't heard from them. I gave them another call because I wasn't sure what their turn around time was on initial calls. I was told that it's usually 24 hours but the woman I spoke to told me that she would have someone call me before the end of the day. Friday came and went without a call back. This firm was hired to inspect a house I was buying. They didn't look at one area in particular. After emailing inspector several times and not getting answers to my questions, the inspector called me. The answers were inadequate. I called the office to speak to someone and received a call back today. Wow! Right off the bat, I was the bad guy. I was interrupted several times while trying to ask a question. What happened to customer service. I guess once they were paid, they didn't really care about the customer service anymore. No way am I going to hire them to treat my house, if they can't be trusted to inspect it. read more

Horrible service! The worst attitude I have ever seen! They first told me they would apply the chemical inside my garage and in between tiles in the patio and gave me and estimation of $695. Then when the person came (over 1 hour later than the scheduled time), he said he can't put chemical between the tiles or in the garage, and he can only put chemical AROUND the house and in front of the garage! It's a much easier job then their estimation! I said it's much easier and I should not pay the same amount of money. He called the sales man again, who's make is Mike! Mike said I have no reason to be upset, while I have ALL the reason to be upset! I moved all my shelves in garages three feet away from the wall as MIKE told me! That was a lot of work! And now, it turned out to be I didn't need to do that at all! Mike asked me "do you still want treatment or not?" in a very very rude way! I'm the custom who pays them! I'm not someone BEGGING them for a treatment! Oh, if they promise that they will call you back, DON'T trust them! The first day Mike checked my house and said he would call me back. Then I waited for over one week! No call back! I had to call their office again to ask them! It's the worst service ever! Everyone should avoid using this company! Joey is polite, punctual, knowledgeable, and thorough. He comes every three months and our home is pest free. If I see one spider in between quarterly visits he comes right away and eliminates it. The technician was very friendly and professional. It took maybe 20 minutes for him to treat the exterior, crawl space, and my garage, which is great for my busy schedule! They guarantee service for 30 days, so if you continue to have problems during that time, they'll come back out free of charge. You are assigned one service consultant for your home which is nice so the service consultant really gets to know your home and your normal issues you may be seeing. The company shifted people around so my tech is Scott and he has been with the company for a long time. He works with my crazy schedule and is able to always accommodate me. I am also in real estate and always use these folks to do my termite inspection on homes. I have seen homes and even townhomes that have termite bonds with other companies and Pest and Termite found active termites! I once got a termite inspection done and they found active termites in this townhome. We thought... no issue.. the hoa will cover it. We too have had poor service even after talking directly with the owner. Not only poor service but treated disrespectfully -- who yells at and argues with customers??? We have used Pest and Termite Consultants since 2013 upon purchase of our home. Do not use them if you expect for the company to: 1) treat your home effectively -- we had active termites after using them initially and renewing every year; 2) honor their warranty -- we were told to remove our damaged hardwood floors since they could not find the source of infestation. We aren't sure if new management came in or not but the new employees struggled. They didn't clear away cob webs, nor spray adequately.
