The new staff and Doctors are a example of Dr. Taylors care. He did not just turn over his practice he made sure the future of ROCKWALL COUNTY VETERINARY CLINIC would keep the level of care he had built. I have only good things to say about all the staff and the Doctors who have attended to my Bouvier's. Recently I lost number 3 due to cancer. Terrible...completely incompetent. We gave them multiple…read morechances since all the reviews are great... 1) Entered dogs name incorrectly - they spelled it as BISQUIT. We informed them it was spelled wrong and they 'corrected' it as BISKIT... 2) We brought a sample in containing a worm and asked them to look at it. They called back and informed us that the sample tested negative. We were confused and asked for clarification on what exactly was tested? They said they didn't find anything. We reiterated that we brought in a sample containing a worm so how would there not be anything found when a worm was in the sample? They said they would go check again, and called back and said 'yepp there's a worm and 3 parasites'... 3) Called and they were confused because there were two dogs with the same first name and last name but spelled differently. We informed them that yes, that was your staff that incorrectly spelled her name TWICE so they ended up making two separate accounts which lead to confusion on their end anytime we called... 3) Fast forward about 6 months later, we received email reminders for her checkup. We called to make an appt and was told there was no record for a Biscuit in their system.... so how are we receiving emails? We have been there 4 times how are there no records? Receptionist got extremely rude and kept asking 'are you sure this is the right vet?' after we informed her for the 3rd time this was the correct vet, we have been there multiple times, and you are the one sending us emails. We told her either name it could be under and she continued to tell us there was no record but that someone with our dog's name did have the same last name, but a different first name... the spouses name was also the same name we had given them...the same phone numbers and the same emails....but you couldn't 'find it' and had 'no record?'.... 4) Told them we are done with this vet and their incompetence, and asked them to send over her records which we still have yet to receive.

My little one, Axl, has been sickly for awhile and after multiple visits to different vets I brought him here last week to try and get some answers. Very long and traumatic story short, Axl's gone to kitty heaven and I probably couldn't have made it through it without the love and support of Dr. Avery and Dr. Stickney, who was with us when we had to put him to sleep. I only got 9 months with Axl (19 years wouldn't have been enough with his sweet soul) and I know I will miss him deeply for a long time. Dr. Stickney let me cry like a baby and didn't rush us and made us feel like we were doing the right thing, no matter how bad it hurt. I swear, I believe good vets understand they are 60% for support of the pet and 40% for support of the pet parent, and Stonebridge gets this. I have found a new vet home in Rockwall (finally) and I'm so glad to have somewhere I trust to bring my furry loved ones.

During my last few visits, it was painful to watch how the senior, more established staff treated the newer, younger employees.Instead of guiding and supporting new team members, the older staff members are openly dismissive, cold, and borderline toxic to them. They act like highschool bullies. I have personally witnessed uncomfortable tension in the clinic, including senior staff speaking down to newer employees right in front of clients. It creates an incredibly unprofessional, stressful atmosphere not just for the staff, but for the pets and owners visiting. A clinic's culture trickles down into everything they do. If management doesn't address how the older staff treats newcomers, they are going to lose great talent and clients who don't want to support a toxic workplace. I hope leadership takes a hard look at their internal culture, and the front desk staff.

I ordered one more med that I had to pay for in advance and have yet to be told it is ready to pick up and it's been 3 days, I call daily only to be told it isn't in yet!!! They communicate very well with costs by providing estimates and giving updates regularly. I am so grateful for an emergency vet so close to home.
