His paws and all of his white areas ,like his belly and under his chin weren't cleaned very well ,and they cut around his toenails so they now look longer than usual. Not sure what that was all about. So the extra things they did, were not things that I wanted, nor were they things that looked very good. The price I paid to have my dog groomed, was the price I would pay for a Master groomer to groom him. He should've looked like 1 million bucks for the price I paid. His coat wasn't shiny. Not sure if they put them in a bathtub or if they just sprayed him down, but normally when he gets groomed he's very shiny when you look at him in the sun, because he is put in a tub, and he was not shiny. His hair was dry and dull. Not sure how this Groomer received an almost 5 star rating but I've had my dog for almost 10 years now and never have I been charged so much for such a horrible groom. I had to come home and cut the hair on his paw pads myself. I just can't believe that I used to pay $50 for a groom, and the results were much better. I can see dirt on my hands when I pet him. A white film, which normally takes weeks to accumulate before the next groom. Unfortunately I had to move for work, and was just trying to find a good groomer in my area. If you are going to charge $120 for a perfectly groomed dog, you need to have the right equipment and the right staff and the right products. I feel he needs a groom again, and that's ridiculous . So unhappy, but moving on.. The reply back was very unprofessional and untrue. My dog gets groomed every 4 to six weeks for the last 9 and a half years without fail.. I furnminate him once a week as well as clean his ears. I may have been lucky to get his grooms done for only $50.00, and she May think it's unrealistic, but they only charged that, because his coat is in good condition and he is always well groomed. It just wasn't worth 120$ was my point. I wouldn't have minded paying more, for a better groom. We moved here from Wisconsin 8 years ago, and my dog has never had issues. If she knew anything about the breed, the fact that he is almost 10!years old and is still looking and moving like he does is pretty amazing , and she wouldn't have made such rude remarks. I take very good care of my dog and he is very well acclimated to this weather. That in my opinion, is just an excuse for unacceptable work. Maybe the problem was that they don't normally take large breed dogs or have a tub big enough. Just look at their pics on their website. Not one big dog that I can see. And the only reason I didn't say anything to her while I was there was because of the attitude that she gave me when I brought up the amount that she was trying to charge me. I figured with someone with an attitude like that , calling wouldn't make any sense, so I just decided to leave a review to let others know what I experienced at this pet salon. And she is absolutely not being honest about what she quoted me. She NEVER told me it would be 120$, or I would not have gone there. I do appreciate a job well done, and I know how much work goes into grooming my dog. He is my dog, and I groom him myself in between grooms, and I know what it takes. , maybe the owner doesn't appreciate honesty. All she had to do was say she was sorry. Her attitude and demeanor toward clients have been unprofessional for as long as I have been coming here, and I am confident many long-term clients will recognize exactly who I am referring to. Recently, these issues escalated in a way that directly affected my dog's pain management. I was only given a one-week supply of my dog's pain medication, and it then took an additional three business days just to obtain the printed prescriptions. One of my dog's medications was switched from liquid to pill form due to the office stating they were "out" of the liquid. The pill is extremely small and must now be cut into four pieces, which is impractical and increases the risk of inaccurate dosing. As a result of poor communication and delays, my dog is now without pain medication. The office was unexpectedly closed on a Saturday when they are normally open. I called at 7:00 a.m. the day prior to request a refill of gabapentin. I then received a call after the office had already closed, stating that they "needed more information" to fill the prescription--despite the fact that the same prescription had been filled just one week earlier, with only a one-week supply provided. No explanation was given for what additional information was needed. This pattern feels less like an isolated mistake and more like ongoing control over access to necessary medications, with no regard for the impact on pets or their owners. Additionally, the pricing is excessive. For example, I was charged approximately $40 for 30 gabapentin pills, while the same medication can be obtained through Chewy for about $9.60 for 120 pills. Based on my long history here and these recent events, I strongly caution pet owners. Prescription access is unreliable, communication is poor, medications are delayed or restricted without clear justification, and costs are unreasonably high. When it comes to your pet's comfort and pain management, these issues are unacceptable.

Nahacky won on all counts being a family business that really cared. The delivery and setup went smoothly and they took a genuine interest as the tank matured. It's been about 5 months now, we're still learning, they're still teaching us, and we have a thriving fish and coral environment. Additionally they've given us enough help to allow us to do much more on our own, confidently, than I thought we would be at right now. Always have enough time for us, and I've seen it with every customer when we're in the shop. Much better than the more industrial aquarium shops we've experienced.

So I spotted this place awhile back while driving on US1. It looked like a cute place so when my…read moremom's little bichon/ poodle mix, Cheyenne, was due for some much needed grooming, I suggested we give this little place a try as a way of trying something new and in an attempt to support local businesses in this area. The shop itself is located on the corner of US1 and Aurora, they have a private parking lot in the rear of the building and they keep the front door locked for safety so you have to hit a buzzer to enter the shop. The shop is decorated like a little doggie boutique with a medley of treats and products on display. The owner Trish I spoke to was very nice and appeared to be very knowledgeable on her craft. She did a great job grooming Cheyenne. She even took the time to show me the most effective way to maintain her new haircut and prevent mattes. I was overall impressed. The other thing I like is they let the dogs play in a secured area instead of caging them so your pets get a lot of social play time. The only down side is they don't take credit/ debit cards- sorry, only cash or check.
