Many places were closed, or very expensive, it was a Sunday. So those I did reach were not in my area. When I called this place I was crying. I am not sure Johnathon was even able to understand me. He was so kind, gave me time to collect myself and explain what was going on. Again it was a Sunday, later in the day and he was going to be going home soon. I live about 45 min. from his ofc. He gave me choices on what I could do if I couldn't get her to him that night. My husband and I decided we wanted to get Bella there asap and my husband didn't want me driving because I was so upset. One of the options he gave me was I could bring her to him at that time and he would wait for us to arrive. Again this was on a Sunday, around 4pm and we live about 45 minutes away. I am so grateful for how kind, caring and understanding the owner was with me that day. He waited, and about 45 minutes later we arrived. I filled out some paperwork, picked my sweet girl Bella's Urn. From the moment i arrived there he took care of my sweet girl. Again i was in tears, the owner listened to me as i cried telling him how hard it was to say good bye to her. He listened to me as i told the story of how my mom picked her out for me almost 17yrs ago. He listened to me as i explained how almost 2 yrs i lost my mom and saying goodbye to my sweet girl was hard especially since my mom picked Bella out from the litter. Never once did he make me feel rushed. He just listened with a kind caring heart. I am truly grateful for his kind heart that day. Thank you to the owner for everything. Most people are probably wondering the cost. All i can say is the price here was much less than any of the other places i called that day that actually answered there phone. When i say much less, i mean much less. He explained it could take up to 3 weeks i believe is what he said It took less than 2 wks to get a call letting me know I could pick up Bella ashes. They called me to let me know i could come down and pick her up but we were out of state. I wasn't expecting too get a call till after we returned. That call came halfway threw our trip. I have nothing but good things to say about this place. I will be referring friends and family. Today i called to see when i could come by to pick up my sweet Bella. I spoke with Shannon. She was also very kind. She listened to me as talked about my precious Bella. What an amazing, kind, caring, compassionate grp of people in this ofc. I am so grateful for all the kindness they have showed me since that day i brought my precious girl to them. ​ Thank you all for the kindness you showed me when I was so upset. I am grateful for the conversations we had. We were never rushed, or judged. She was so empathetic. It was such a devastatingly sad, surreal experience. Neal had started to deteriorate so rapidly this year. His sister Sara had started to not be able to hide how ill she felt. I don't think I would have ever been ready to let them go. As I look back at my pictures and videos it's easier to see that they were both ill. It was so easy to look past it when they were here. I'd compare them to the pictures and just add accommodations for their comfort. Because their smiles, the love in their eyes...the tail wags were still there, different, but there. It was so hard to admit it was time. All the anxiety that had been eating away at me for months washed away and was replaced with a bottomless sadness and relief that my babies were no longer suffering. They were two amazing small little dogs who left an unfathomable chasm in my heart. The after care was also above and beyond. I can't recommend them enough. Being it was the middle of the night and we were home when she passed away, getting her to the vet and making the sudden decisions I had to make while numb and hysterical were all just a blur, esp when it came to her aftercare. I quickly chose her urn without giving it much thought as it was extremely hard and I was having a difficult time accepting she 2 days before Thanksgiving was gone and trying to process why. The morning after she passed and I was able to think a little more clearly I emailed West Coast to change her urn and add her paw print. They immediately called me and within minutes had made the change and facilitated payment to have her paw print done as well. 2 days later I received another phone call that they had my sweet girl in their care and her after care was complete. Within a couple more days they again called back to confirm shipping details and to explained the process of shipping my baby home. Although it was one of the hardest days of my life, I took great comfort in knowing she was loved and cared for with dignity and compassion.

Our girl, Nikka, is a 12…read moreyear old Husky/Shepherd mix and she recently developed some hind leg soreness/stiffness and urinary incontinence. We took her to a conventional vet to rule out UTI/kidney issues and had X rays done to ensure there was nothing grossly abnormal structurally with her bones. Everything checked out and I knew I didn't want to start her on a medication with significant side effects or have her on pain meds indefinitely, so I searched for holistic vets who did acupuncture and was so happy to see Dr. Rose was local to us! . On our first visit, Dr. Rose did a thorough exam of Nikka and informed us that Nikka had an unusual heart murmur. A different vet at a conventional clinic that had seen Nikka just a few weeks earlier also mentioned the heart murmur but said it was very mild/quiet and didn't seem concerned about it all and didn't give us any indication that it needed to be investigated. I thought that the murmur must be no big deal based on how the first vet handled the finding. Dr. Rose immediately told us that Nikka's heart murmur was quite pronounced and unusual sounding and she gave us a lot of info and recommendations on next steps. . Well, today we took Nikka to a cardiologist where she had an ECHO and it turns out she has dilated cardiomyopathy (DCM), which, thankfully, has been caught early and might be able to be improved with medication and dietary changes. . Dr. Rose literally saved Nikka's life with her attention to detail, her excellent clinical skills, and her prompt and informative follow up and recommendations. I will be eternally and forever grateful to her competence and expertise. . Nikka has also had 2 sessions of acupuncture and cold laser/photobiomodulation and she definitely has more pep in her step. Nikka also loves coming to Serenity Holistic Vet, she isn't anxious or nervous and just settles right down and relaxes when the acupuncture needles are in. Dr. Rose is a gem and we are so lucky to have her here in Murrieta.
