I want to give a special shout out to the young man named Frank in the fish and reptile department today. What an absolute gem! It didn't take long at all before he looked my way and asked me if I needed help, and promptly came over and listened to what I needed. He came across as honest and Genuinely caring about the critters we were talking about. I had purchased three little goldfish a few months ago from the store and they are doing so well and they are so much fun that I decided to get three more for my second small tank. Frank was so knowledgeable and he was just as enthusiastic as I was about my goldfish! I love that he gave me some great information and didn't try and be pushy or sell stuff I didn't need. If I was the store owner, Frank is the kind of person I would want to have taking care of my critters, as well as my clients! This location can be challenging for parking and be careful driving in the parking lot because people are a little bit loopy and aggressive.

But having been there several times and interacted with many employees, they are very well educated in the areas they need to be and they truly care about the animals they have. I did what any responsible individual would do and that was to go there and form my own opinion. My wife and I went there three times unannounced through different parts of the day. We did not see any filthy animals, no parasites or sick animals, nor did we see any animals under duress Lastly, I purchased a puppy from them, not only did it come registered with papers, but it is from goldkress which are world renown for their treatment and quality dogs. My experience has completely debunked anyone else's ridiculous accusation of this store using mills or backyard breeders entirely. The room is large enough for any size dog. I was able to wash a 150lbs foster "pup" with ease. There is a large raised bathing area to avoid "killing" your back. You don't have to worry about trying to lift your pooch as there is a ramp for access. They provide all the needed bathing essentials, from towels, a waterproof apron, and various natural soaps, shampoos, and conditioners, and towels. If your dog isn't afraid of loud noises there is also a blow dryer available to assist with drying your dog. Once you finish your can treat your freshly cleaned friend to a large variety of treats.
