My wife and kids, excited about our upcoming addition, approached Jeff and we all peppered him with questions for at least an hour that night. Not only was he super patient with us pesky, annoying strangers, but he was obviously knowledgeable and enthusiastic about his love for animals. Plus, his dog sat there calmly and without any protest while we had our conversation, which impressed us to no end. He ended up giving us his card and told us not to hesitate to call if we ever had any other questions. Fast forward a few weeks - our new puppy (Ripley) was driving us crazy. She wasn't eating or sleeping regularly, walks were an adventure/nightmare, barking, chewing, nipping, jumping, etc. We looked up a few in-home trainers nearby and had some consultations. All were either ridiculously expensive or just not a personality match with us or Ripley. Tears of frustration were falling, I kid you not. We remembered Jeff and gave him a call, and not knowing that he was a trainer, asked him if he knew of and/or could recommend any good ones in the area. Long story short, he was out to our house within an hour and began working with Ripley immediately. Problem behaviors were identified and explained to us and correcting methods were introduced and reinforced. Within a few sessions, the improvement in Ripley's temperment was drastic and consistent. Not to sound too corny, but we got back the intelligent, well-mannered dog we wanted in the first place. Nowadays, Holly's Happy Hounds continues to help us whenever we need walking, training, boarding, or anything else. Jeff and Holly share a passion for this business and it shows in their work and dedication to their clients. We cannot recommend them highly enough. Best random pet store encounter in history.

When she came by to return the keys, my dog went bananas and was so excited to see her! It was so nice to know all my pets were comfortable and cared for in my home, and not in a crate in a place that was strange to them. My dog has decided Alessandra is his new girlfriend and now spends the time it takes Alessandra to get upstairs sitting by my front door shrieking with excitement. If it weren't frowned upon by society, I get the feeling Alessandra would do the same. It's clear she loves our little dude. And he loves her. I found Sam on Yelp, checked out her website, and shortly afterward we had a meet n greet. Diamond absolutely ADORES Sam! You can tell Sam has a genuine passion for taking care of animals. She can "get on their level" and keep them engaged. Diamond's first daycare day went very well! I received many photos and updates on her progress (which I appreciated so much), and Diamond made a new friend there. By the end of the day, she was tuckered out!!! Sam is a dream to do business with, it almost felt like we were old friends: she's warm, creative, kind, professional, and truly enjoys what she does.
