I've always wanted to have my dog's portrait done. But I have zero talent for art. So I was so excited to find out the event to paint the dog portrait at my favorite dog cafe in E. Village - Boris & Horton. When I got there everything was already set. Michele was so organized, nice, helpful and friendly. My husband and I went to the Sip and Paint party at the Barking Dog. We had a wonderful experience all thanks to Michele. Michele reached out ahead of the event to ask for a picture of our pet that she would draw and let us know that she would bring all necessary supplies. We brought our dog Ravioli for the fun as well. In April 2018 my husband and I attended one of Michelle's fabulous events. Michelle hosted a Sunday after noon Pet Portrait Sunday Funday at DBA in the East Village. The party was BYOD (bring your own dog). My husband and I bought tickets online a few days before and emailed our favorite photos to Michelle. Michelle pre-drew our pups and had stations with everything we needed set up. Neither my husband or I are artists but Michelle sure helped us feel like we were! You begin by tracing her beautiful drawing of your pet and then you paint with watercolors. She's a great and talented host who is very helpful but not overbearing. Me and a friend of mine went to one of Michele's awesome pet portrait events in Astoria Queens and we had a blast!!! To start I should mention that I am NOT artistic, this definitely isn't something I do often, but it's sooo much fun and you really don't have to come with any background knowledge or abilities! Michele also makes you feel so great along the way and wants you to have a good time! Michele organized the pet portrait event at a doggy cafe where we were also able to bring our dogs with us which was a major plus!! My dog loved being with me and you can see that Michele loves our pets just as much as we do. The sketch she made before our class was beautiful, she did such an incredible job!! She was very patient with us in explaining every step and helping us along the way. I was honestly shocked with my final product but I really did make the entire thing from start to finish and I don't think it would have come out so nicely if it wasn't for Michele.
