When you're shaving that close, there's no real work in de-matting - you just shave. I've done this multiple times in-between groomings at PetSmart and this was the first PetSmart that told me they needed to charge me de-matting services prior to intake. I should have just walked out then. #2 - They call me regularly to take my dog back. Again, the only PetSmart to ever make the annoying effort for a unsolicited phone call. The only call I ever wanted was for them to call me when I was ready to pick up my dog, not for a continuous marketing call. Only reason this isn't a one is because it's unfair to the rest of the store as I haven't had any issues (but also haven't purchased) from the main store.

I had no issue with check in or dealing with the staff. They seemed knowledgable and friendly. The facility has cameras all over where you can tune in for free via their webcams and see what your dogs are up to when they are at play time. When we dropped them off on Thursday I saw them on the webcam outside hanging out with other dogs. I felt pretty good when I saw my dogs having fun with the other doggies. Unfortunately, this was the last time I ever saw them on the webcams. I was on a cruise from Friday till Monday. I bought the internet package on my cruise specifically so I could check in on my dogs to see how they were doing. I did not have a schedule for when my dogs would be outside for play time to check in on them. Therefore, it was all chance and luck. Well, either I was very unlucky or something fishy was going on. On Friday morning, I logged in at 6 AM and did not see my dogs outside, but did see other dogs outside with one of the handlers. Later on in the day, I checked in again around 10 AM and 11 AM--still did not see my dogs. I continued this process for the next several days at random times, (6, 7, 10, 11, 1, 3, 4, & 5 PM) and I still never saw any of my dogs on any of the webcams. I thought it was really strange though that I kept seeing the same batches of dogs other than my own. On Monday, I came to pick up my dogs. They looked and acted fine, but I still wonder to this day why I never had the chance to see them on webcam. It just left a weird feeling in my gut. On top of that, I only received one report card about how my dog did while I was gone. The responses to how my dog did felt very AI-generated and not personable. So at the end of the day I have no idea what happened with my dogs' stay at Pet Paradise. Hopefully they were treated well and got plenty of time to run around outside and socialize with other dogs because I never witnessed it besides day one.

We were not informed of this over the phone just that it was super busy and we could only get a tour between noon and 14:00. Olive ended up choosing a bag of the soft, high-quality salmon treats ($6). Among the various delicious treats (Olive told me so), there are numerous other pet related products. Dog clothes, toys, collars, strollers, to even great items for the pet parent such as stickers, keychains, dog themed beverage containers, purses, wallets, shirts, and even darling dog breed Croc shoe charms. Anything you could think of, they carry it. Prices were extremely reasonable, too! To top it off, Julie asked if Olive would like her photo taken to go on the store's digital wall of "pupstomers." The wonderful people there completely understood that his long fluffy coat is a nessecesity to the breed and should not be cut or shaved. When I picked him up, he looked amazing - great mini-groom, nails looked good and his double dew claws were nice and short, sani-trim was the only cut. His coat was gleaming white. It used to be located at Lake Cay Commons on Universal boulevard and now they are located in Dr. Phillips in the Whole Foods plaza. I have a VERY hyper Miniature Austrian Sheppard who has two coats of fur and they do an amazing job grooming him even though he has a little behavior issue, so thank you! My dog Bentley gets a double groom and they add on a small extra fee because of his behavior which is fine. So when I take him every 4-6 months I pay around $120 with a tip as well! To make an appointment you can call or request an appointment online and then they will call you to make it! They have many different locations to make sure to pick the one closer to you. Bentley always smells so good, his trim always looks on point and his nails are perfectly cut! Not only does "Just 4 Dogs" do grooming but they also have dog training classes which can come in handy! Not so I only love this location but also the people who work here, they are so kind abs friendly! I definitely recommend bringing your fur baby here next time!
