Two of the Nature's Miracle "Just For Cats" had caps that were torn open.

Horrible customer service! When you usually enter any PetSmart location, you are greeted with a smile and a friendly, "Welcome to PetSmart!" Apparently the protocol is different at this PetSmart. No biggie, just something I took note of. The "biggie" came later. I walked to the cat aisle in search of Nature's Miracle (my chunky cat pees on things when he's mad at me - and no, it's not medical). I picked up a gallon container (big cat = lots of pee) and got the liquid all over my arms as I discovered the bottle cap was torn. I put it down and picked up another one - same thing - torn lid and no more of the specific Nature's Miracle that I wanted. I then went to search for staff to inform them of this and to ask if they had any more of the product in the back. It took me a while to find some one and when I did, I was unpleasantly surprised. The staff member - a young female with long, light brown hair with a chunky streak of both blonde and black on each side of her hair part - was chatting with a customer/possibly a friend. She saw me, but proceeded to tell the customer, "Yeah, I wait for the (checkout) lines to get real long and I don't do anything - then maybe they'll finally hire another cashier." Model employee here, PetSmart (please know that I'm being sarcastic)! Well, now that she finished venting, she turned her attention to me and asked if I needed help. I explained the situation and I witnessed her ask for someone (via her walkie talkie) to help me in the cat aisle. So, then I returned to the cat aisle and I waited. And waited. And waited. After about 15 minutes, I decided to just buy 2 smaller sizes of the Nature's Miracle product. The only good thing about this visit is that the product was "Buy 1, Get 1 50% off." Also, I saw a chihuahua in a sweater - the chihuahua made me smile and made me have a little more grace, hence the 2 star rating verses a 1 star rating. So, thank this chihuahua, PetSmart and consider the employees you have (poorly) representing your company.

Down Home Dog Training - Orlando dog training, Downtown Orlando Dog Trainer and Behaviorist Lindsay Smithson

Our puppy is beautiful,…read morebut she definitely is a sassy one, and Lindsay helped us teach her how to sit, lay down, stay, and a few other basic commands. We also were able to successfully potty train her after she kept using our couch as a toilet bowl (thank goodness that's over!). Overall it was a great, helpful group of classes.

I proceeded to take the intermediate and advanced courses with her as well. She was so easy to work with, so kind and helpful. She later went on to form Down Home Dog Training. I worked with her a few months ago as I enrolled my dog in a week long boot camp training. I had gotten lazy with his training and let him slip into a few behavioral problems. I emailed Lindsay and explain my problems and she came up with reasonable solutions. When my dog, Hermes, came back after the week, I continued to work with the commands he had been taught. He had completely changed his ways and it was great. I now felt more confident about taking him out in public and to restaurants. He also became more manageable on walks. Lindsay continued to text me weeks after the training to make sure there were no problems. And if there were problems, we met up and had private training sessions to make sure I kept everything in control. She is a great trainer, I definitely recommend.

TM Canine Services - Johnny and Tyler, learning and overcoming fears!

We adopted Johnny, our Great Dane, from a Florida shelter, knowing he came with some baggage. At…read morejust 180 pounds of pure muscle and anxiety, Johnny had already been given up twice and returned for behavioral concerns. From day one, we noticed he was a unique mix of overly territorial, overly protective, and easily overwhelmed. With strangers, or in chaotic situations, he'd bark, growl, lunge, and snap--not out of aggression, but sheer stress. During one of our first walks, a passing bicycle set him off so much he yanked me clean off my feet, leaving me sprawled out in the dirt, contemplating my life choices. At home, though, he was nothing but sweet--a gentle giant with his family. Desperate for help, we turned to TM Canine Services. Enter Tyler--the dog whisperer, the miracle worker, and Johnny's future bromance. Our journey didn't exactly start smoothly. At the very first class, Tyler approached us and suggested a better collar for Johnny. As I got Johnny into the car to swap it out, he went full chaos mode--snapping at Tyler and then at me. I was shaken and unsure if I should stay or go. Tyler reassured me, encouraging us to stay and observe, only interacting as I felt comfortable. Despite how rattled I was, I decided to stick it out--and I'm so glad I did. I needed to build my confidence, and Johnny desperately needed the experience. It became clear group classes were too overwhelming for Johnny, so we switched to private lessons. Slowly but surely, progress happened. Tyler's patient, no-nonsense approach, combined with his kindness and deep knowledge of dogs, worked wonders. Eventually, Johnny graduated back into group classes, where he added his own flair--like sitting down to spin in circles or flopping like a fish out of water on his back when he got bored. Fast forward two years, and Johnny is a completely different dog. He's calmer, more obedient, and while he's still overwhelmed sometimes, he's learning to trust the world again. His favorite person? Tyler. We're so grateful for Tyler and TM Canine Services for never giving up on Johnny, even when it felt like a lost cause. Tyler didn't just teach Johnny how to behave; he taught us how to understand him. If you've got a dog that's a little too much--too scared, too strong, too stubborn--Tyler's your guy. We can't recommend him enough!

The answer was she is a rescue so maybe she has a head injury, well you would think that test would be done to find out if that was the case, but no. I had to ask for an MRI which showed nothing wrong in the brain. I asked if they could do a lower extremity MRI/XRAY, etc. They did not feel it was necessary They kept our poor baby on multiple anti-seizure medications without investigating the issue that was causing the seizures. Long story short, Lily woke up one Sunday acting very ill. We took her to the animal ER and the vet found cancer of the spine which had spread due to being undetected. We had to put her down. It was awful. She was my soul dog! I miss her so much. Also, we had a cat that was a feral cat that we rescued, he had feline aids. He began to get sick and we kept asking what the prognosis was and each time getting an encouraging report that he would be okay. He ended up losing so much weight, he looked emaciated and Pine Ridge told us he would need to be hospitalized there for a couple of days which was a couple of thousand dollars. We had no problem paying the money if the prognosis was truly positive. Two days after the hospitalization he was still terribly sick. We asked the staff again if he was going to recover fully because he had lost so much weight and if he was in pain. They told us we should probably put him down. You mean to tell me they didn't know that two days prior? We had literally paid so much money to this clinic and the care for our beautiful pets was not a good experience. I hope that this review will be used for the staff to reframe their thought process their protocol and communications with patients and the sweet animals they care for every day. I hope they listen to the owners of their pets. Usually, owners have a good sense when things are wrong.
