5 stars for the staff. The bathing facility is definitely a one star. The "surface" cleaning of the facility, missing leash and broken hose are disturbing. According to staff it was stolen but that was months ago. The middle bay dryer hose attachment is broken. This is a great concept because they supply all that you need to bathe your dog. I love the convenience of being able to order my cat/dog supplies in advance so that they are ready when I get there! This is a small location but they still have a great selection and the staff are very helpful too. They usually offer to help bring my items to my car which is helpful for the 40 lb bags of cat litter that I buy! The parking lot gets pretty full on this side of the shopping center but there are a handful of spaces marked off for PSP shoppers and a few more for 10 minute parking. You can call from your car and they will bring your items to you if you've ordered ahead. Or else you can park in a 10 minute parking run in give them your name and they give you your purchase quickly Make sure to sign up for their points system on their website. For every purchase you earn points and then get anywhere from a five dollar and up gift certificate to spend on your next purchase. I just redeemed $15 off coupon based off of the points on my purchase Oh there is a bathing station in the back of the store as well. read more

We've been bringing our 16-year-old senior dog here between 8:15 PM and 8:45 PM on Saturday nights to bathe her as she is frail and likes to have the quiet time to be bathed without a crowd or having to wait... For some inexplicable reason tonight, the store decides to close the bath area to clean it at 8:25 PM with the manager saying it has always been this way. Please respect your customers to not call them liars and dispute their previous experiences and, if you are closing now at 8 or 8:15 PM, please do not advertise that you stay open until 9 PM. Best customer service experience that I have come across in a while!! Upon entering the store, I was greeted by the cashier, Ashley. She was very friendly and welcoming. I approached Ashley with a question. Without hesitation, she told me on which isle I could find the product that I was looking for. Ashley also called her manager, Brooke, to assist me in answering my questions about the product I was looking for to help my dog. Brooke was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and thorough in explaining the products and their use. Brooke went above and beyond by asking about my dogs food and diet. I wasnt even there to buy my dog any kind of food, but based off Brooke's knowledge and recommendation, I ended up leaving with a bag of food and the product that I was there for to begin with. As I went to check out, I was greeted once again by Ashley. She ensured that I got everything that I needed and explained the donation to the animal shelter that I donated to. I was very impressed with the customer service, the staff, and the overall experience that I had at this location this evening. I am very grateful for Brooke's recommendations and Ashelys warm and friendly attitude. I will definitely be returning for future needs. I don't know that they will see this review, but just in case, I wanted to extend a huge THANK YOU to both of these young ladies for everything and making this experience one to remember. My son and I went in last night to purchase a hamster for my daughter and the staff was amazing! The girls working. (Brooke, Sarah and Karigan) went above and beyond. They put the hamster cage together and put all the bedding and parts in it. It was hands down the best customer service I have had in a very long time. Relatively new location with awesome prices! The store has always been clean and has a great selection of cat food. I love shopping here. You can become a Pet Supplies Plus Member (for free) and get awesome deals via e-mail and savings in store. They have birds and fish which are always fun to visit, and they support local adoption events on weekends. They even had Girl Scouts out last weekend selling cookies. I should start by saying I gave this store a few chances before writing this review. Sadly they have failed terribly and I am only able to give them 1 star. I was actually excited when I saw this store open because it was so close to my house and I wasn't going to have to drive all the way to the one off Concord Parkway anymore. Now this store is independently owned & operated, but they do sell the same products & have the same great deals. My first visit to this store I purchased a bag of frozen cat food, nothing unusual, I have been purchasing this same exact food from the other store for quiet some time. My cat seemed less than interested in this food & when she finished eating it (what she did manage to eat), she'd throw it up immediately. After 2 days off this, it dawned on me to check the expiration date (which I normally always did anyway, but somehow forgot to do this time) and the food was EXPIRED!!!!! I called the store right away and they told me to bring it in for a refund. When I got to the store and was refunded my money the manager informed me that they placed special orders for that particular cat food. I placed an order for that brand and was told it would be ordered Friday and would arrive on Monday. When Monday came around I didn't hear anything from the store all day so after work I went by to see if the cat food was delivered. When I got there the manager told me it was showing on their delivery sheet as delivered, but she couldn't find it. Now keep in mind this is frozen cat food so it has to be kept in a freezer. After searching for a good 15 mins I finally asked if they sold it to someone else to which the manager replied "no." She told me that they would call the delivery company and reorder it to have it delivered the following day for me. The next day I got a call from a different manager saying the frozen cat food had been re-delivered and it would be waiting for me in a freezer in the back so "nobody else could buy it"...not sure what that means, but it sounds like they did sell it the day before. Anyway, I decided to give them one more chance. I went in last Tuesday and placed another order for 2 bags of frozen cat food. I was told it would be ordered Friday and be ready for pickup Monday (yesterday)...but what do ya know...it wasn't "delivered" again! If you're going to advertise a special order service then get it together!!! I actually rely on this because my cat can not have regular cat food! I could order from other companies who are MUCH more reliable, and I WILL from now on, but the amount of time I have wasted is ridiculous! I'm not sure if it's because they have kids running this place or what! My advice for anyone who is thinking about using them for anything other than cheap products is DON'T!! Oh, and by the way...they still have expired frozen food in their freezer! read more
