Bathing area was so disgusting , there were no towels , the soap was out, we ended up buying it , water was cold, the kids working there are lazy , I went to tell them about the water and the supplies no one came to help us . Definitely recommend this location. The groomers are so good with my Apollo. I have a high anxiety 2 year old German shepherd and he enjoys being pampered here. They do such a good job with calming and relaxing Apollo as they trim and file his nails, as they do when they bathe him. Took 5 MONTHS for his coat to return and after playing back and forth between management, corporate, and my mother and being told they would be reprimanding the grooming staff and refunding me NOTHING has been done. I don't even care about the refund anymore....what I care about is that the groomers were reprimanded and no one else has to go through what we went through. I've been looking for a place with a self wash dog station and I'm so glad I came across this place. Where I used to live, it cost $25 to do a self wash for my dog where I took him and this place is larger and I got a punch card for 5 washes for $25!! Amazing. Also, the staff was helpful and showed me how everything worked before I bathed my pup. They have a great selection of food, treats, toys and everything you'd need for your pets. read more

I have been going to this location since it opened. I have always bragged to my friends and family about the amazing store and customer service. However, I don't know if there has been a recent change in ownership or management, but this place has gone to the pigs. Customer service is horrible. The new manager is EXTREMELY RUDE AND UNFRIENDLY. Today I brought my dog there for his usual bath. The bathing station was full of mosquitos. The attendant's explanation, "They came in on a dog." I LOVE THIS PLACE AND I WISH IT WERE CLOSER TO WHERE I LIVED but then if that happened, I would come here everyday and lose all my monies. I didn't know this place existed but decided to stop by since I was in the area and needed some things for my dog anyways. I was skeptical that it would either be really small and unorganized and not have anything I needed or that everything would be super expensive and ridiculously "organic" or "natural." Boy, was I wrong! Everything was so so so clean and well organized. It had everything I needed and more. Price was "normal". It might be more expensive than your walmart pet purchases (but you probably shouldn't be trusting everything sold at Walmart anyways). What impressed me the most were the birds, fish, and other live things. I'm no pet psychologist or veterinarian, but no joke, they all seemed and sounded very happy and healthy and alert and well cared for. I made a membership card even though I live far away and probably wouldn't come here too often. I am beyond happy that I came out to pay pet supplies plus a visit. I am huge on costumer service and am always dissapointed with how many places lack in that area. As soon as I stepped into PSP, I was greeted immediately and was offered help! I admit I am not used to that kind of service because, in this area of town, it is HIGHLY uncommon. I truthfully appreciate how the employees treated me. I would definetely be coming back and would have no problem at all in spending because in the end, one is always willing to spend more when they feel comfortable and satisfied with the service. We get out food here. It is expensive. Not the place, the food we get. We also used to wash our pups in the back but have stopped since COVID. They will price-match Amazon, but send coupons frequent enough that if you pay attention, you can get a discount. Workers are friendly. I think if you ask, they'll bring the food out to your car. Have hand sanitizer and markers on the floor for social distancing. They always have their ac on blast. I appreciate it. read more

I absolutely adore this store. Employees always go above and beyond the call of duty. They always insist on taking my bags to my car, especially big bags of dog food (which I really appreciate because am 7 months pregnant currently!) They always have exactly what I need and they price match, even Black Friday deals. And they do it with a smile! People complaining about the prices must nor know they price match....why wouldn't you shop there? This is by far the worst Pet Supplies Plus I've been to. I frequent the one in Katy, and they're always so nice there. However, I found myself on this side of town a few weeks ago and decided to stop in when I saw the familiar sign. I get that they're locally owned but there should be some kind of standards to uphold. It took me a while to be able to get an associate to assist me with fish, and the whole time there was a shorter lady who appeared to be the manager, the MANAGER, on the next aisle over talking down about another customer right on the sales floor. Where obviously if i could hear it, anyone could. That's not a very inviting feeling, because who's to say she didn't talk about me and my son after I left? I think her name was Cindy maybe? I can't really remember, but I do know I'll be telling everyone at my clinic to avoid here if they wish to be treated respectfully. read more

This is my first visit here. As soon as I walked in I was greeted by a staff member. Very helpful and friendly. I needed some Stella and Chewys raw food for my dogs. They had a few bags marked down to 25-70% off because they were about to expire. SCORE for me! I walked up and down all their aisles, everything was well stocked, neat and organized. They even have a dog self wash area that was nice and clean. I'm a groomer so I take notice to these things. All of their live animals were clean, watered and fed. While I have always been very satisfied with this store my experience of late hardly reflects that I ordered dog food the other night online and went to pick it up curbside calling several times the number given and it never went through. all I got was a recording and when I clicked the number to speak to someone it kept disconnecting. I was parked in the curbside spot, there was a girl at the register and just walking around (no customers) but she never came out to inquire. I ended up going inside, discovering that they had pulled the wrong kind of food, no apology extended. so I had to wait until it was switched. the guy who brought it out did apologize but closed the tailgate wrong(pushing it manually instead of the electronic button thank heavens nothing happened to it. hopefully my next experience will be a better one. perhaps additional customer service training is needed. read more
