The store's midsection contains a variety of pet supplies: For example, quality foods and nutritional supplements; training supplies; collars, leads, and toys; etc. 5. The owner makes a 7:30 am drop off specially for cats so they are not stressed about dogs. Which is thoughtful. She has a gate on her porch to prevent dogs from running out the door into the parking lot or street. Very good idea. I brought my cat there just recently, and had him shaved. I neglected grooming- sorry. They did an awesome job. Did EXACTLY what I wanted. Lickety-split in under 30 minutes. Without a single nick. Bailey, the feisty cat, is so happy to be rid of his mats. Anyway, I'll definitely bring him in on a regular basis to prevent mats from coming. Highly recommend Bark of the Town.

I drop off my cat and smells like the place hasn't been cleaned since the early 2000s. None of the staff were friendly and had rbf but I still had a positive attitude. They call me an hour and half later to let me know she's ready (I thought wow that was quick). I take her home and her nails are still long and her paws weren't even trimmed. My cat doesn't even smell like shampoo. Talk about scammers.

The groomer took no responsibility for this and didn't seem to care. I took my cat immediately to the Veterinarian and they said that she needed stitches, as well stated that the wounds were fresh and looked like they were done with clippers. What I try and do is delete reviews that are no longer true as to their great service...it's my way…read moreof not bashing people but staying honest...or I don't review them at all. I will most definitely badly review places so I can warn people of terrible experiences. The good ones, I always try and report as well because we all want to know the bottom line on where to go. With this place I was nervous because with my pets I'm protective and picky. There was a wait to get in but the reviews made me do just that. I'm happy to report this establishment didn't disappoint. It's attractive for sure but that's not the deciding factor in any way. Aside from first visual impression which is above board as far as cleanliness and beauty...the first impression of the staff was also wonderful. They were knowledgeable and welcoming. The end result was a perfect series of cuts (I have multiple dogs of different breeds) and I loved that the first step in their spa day, which is a bath...is in an area where you can watch through a glass wall. It's clear the salon is run well and I'm personally not going to skimp on care and skill to go up the street to a chain establishment to save a few dollars for my dogs...who are most definitely family members. If you are concerned about safety..competence as well as final result and you aren't looking for a cheap fix...this place is perfect. They aren't over priced..but they aren't Walmart either. You get what you pay for and I'm very happy to have found this salon!
