The manager is extremely RUDE. Always has a bad attitude. If you try to ask her a question, she will look you in the face smirk and just walk away. One employee sitting by the register looked so HIGH it was just sitting there drooling on itself. When asked a Question, just sat there with its eyes rolling back in its head. Aria in grooming is fantastic with my very hesitant dog. The entire store is filled with employees who love animals. A great pet store.

They used to have a solid rewards program where you could accrue points on every purchase then convert them to $5+ whenever you wanted. Recently, they changed their rewards program where now they automatically convert your points EVERY month. What a slap in the face to every customer. I've moved on to CHEWY and haven't looked back. The people at this location couldn't be nicer and there are always plenty around to help. However, in my last several visits items from their freezer section were expired as were other wet items in their dry section (not just by days, but by months). There is a local place just down the road who has all of the same things (at least for everything I was looking for), not expired, and for $1-2 cheaper even. read more

I just spent a couple hundred dollars this week there. Cashier was fine but couldn't get the coupon to work so she called a manager for help. Stephanie, the manager, walked up to the register looking defensive from the get go when this actually had nothing to do with me. Stephanie was inept to solve the issue. When the cashier tried to point out for the second time which coupon in the flyer was the problem, she just talked over her and would not listen. I also tried to gently point out that she wasn't understanding but she just kept talking over me as well. I had to literally do the math for her, one item at a time and step by step problem solve for her. Instead of appreciating that I was being patient with her attitude and incompetence over something so simple, she instead turned around and blamed me and the cashier for the confusion lol. Then without thinking, tore up my unused coupon and wouldn't give it back, forgetting the one she wanted was already in the register. and just replied with, oh well. At this point I had enough and asked for her name. Yeah, she didn't like that at all and I got more attitude. No name tag, no thank you forty purchase, no apologies for the inconvenience... just attitude, disrespect and a dirty look w/a sarcastic have a nice day after getting her name. That store has a definite vibe about it, and it's not good. I've also had to return out of date items there before. Urban Mutt is a little less convenient but they are always so nice, knowledgeable and helpful. I wanted to like this store more :/ the entire front reeked of cigarette smoke due to an employee smoking right off to the side of the door in the loading dock, absolutely disgusting. The selection is good, but the prices felt pretty high for certain items. read more

First time in this week to see what was offered in cat food. The variety was amazing, even for very specific dietary concerns and ages from kittens to seniors. I could try some different products because they had individual cans. Prices were great, and the staff was so friendly and helpful. My cat already has found new varieties she likes. On 10-25-23 I walked into Pet Supplies Plus (a newer location)to purchase 6 bags of dog food for my large dogs. On the shelf for the brand of dog food I purchase was the sale sticker for the entire brand of Stella dog foods. I also had a 25% off coupon from PetSuppliesPlus.com I also wanted to use. They rang up the sale but the dog food was coming up a higher price. Audrey the rude manger figured out that the sale prices that were still listed on the shelf should have been removed because the sale was over. THE EMPLOYEE'S forgot to take the sale prices down. Not my fault. I insisted to receive the listed price. I also handed in my coupon. When I was cashing out I asked if the coupon was added. Yes she said. It was not added. The cashier LIED to me. Could it be because I was an older lady. Audrey was called up to the front to explain that their system will not accept the coupon.(the coupon does not state that it cannot be used on sale items) I asked to speak with the owner. At that time Audrey rudely told me to "go for a walk" when I stayed at the counter she spoke rudely to me to "WALK NOW".I want to make this clear, at no time did I show disrespect, rudeness or even get loud. I started recording after that. I was then reprimanded by the Owner Ame' Kennedy after explaining to him on the phone that my next statement I was not trying to be rude but that there is only one way to say what I was going to say. I proceed to tell him that if I did not received the sale price and be able to use the coupon that I would file with the BBB and possible file in small claims court. Boy did he get mad at me. He could not even speak clear he was so angry at me. If his employees would have done the job they are paid to do, this would not even have been an issue. But with the ignorance on how to run a business Ame' found it easier to raise his voice at a 60 ish year old women. I did get the sale price but not after being talked down to, reprimanded and embarrassed in front of other employees and customers. MY ADVICE IS BEWARE OF THIS STORE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have been shopping Pet Supplies Plus for many years and never once did I have a problem with any store or employees. In fact in the two other stores I have shopped in, they say hello to me using my name. This is a newer store closer to my home.
